As far as I'm aware we're still open, I've only had one person send me a CS so far.
I'll pretty much be accepting CS's as they come. (Though rest assured I'll be knocking most back for corrections and stuff xD).

One of my conditions have been OoC activity, so I'm only willing to save spots for those who are able to engage and maintain some level of discussion here in the Intchk xD Otherwise, all slot are open~

Disappearing for two days each week isn't too big a deal since I doubt anyone's going to start crying about inactivity after just two days. But if you're able to sneak in an OoC post about being gone for the next few days that'd be really helpful to those who are interacting with you. So yeah, not essential but that'd be great.

After taking a look at the CS section I became much more interested in this. I'll try to do s good a character as I can, without going too overboard, so I guess I'll be taking my time just as you've said.

As reserved as they've specifically stated that they're writing up a CS, or going to be doing so in the immediate future. At present 11 people have expressed interest in this roleplay, but I'm pretty sure at least a few have opted to drop their interest so there shouldn't be any 'immediate' chance of someone getting knocked back... with the exception of inadequate or incompatible character applications.

Did everyone die around a similar time? Or is it possible for characters to have died some years ago, only to end up in Toybox now?

There's no particular rule regarding what place or time period a character is from.
While I assume most characters will originate from 21st century, it's possible to have characters that date back a few hundred years. So it's possible for one character to be an iphone addicted junkie, while another one could be a feudal samurai that's never seen a landline phone before, and still communicates with a letter tied to an arrow...

If you decide to go with such a character though, try to keep in mind that such characters have no memory of their past. And that others should not immediately be able to figure out (without a doubt) you're a prehistoric neanderthal. Suspicion is fine though.

I've only received one Character application at this point in time, but I feel like I should make a really important point about character personality/traits/attributes etcetc.


I have a strong preference towards characters that can fall into a category.
In other words, most of their traits/strengths/weaknesses should all contribute to an overall image.
I don't want to know that your character is nice when they're happy, and a bitch when they're pissed... I can figure that out without it being stated.

Eg; If I'm going to make the cheerful athletic girl stereotype, it's perfectly okay to have her secret hobby be cooking. However I don't recommend you add in that she's also a bookworm, has trust issues, folds paper cranes in her spare time, and went to go compete at the chess world championships.

I fully support being creative and mixing things up, but considering the way the character sheet is setup, a character like that just seems scattered, poorly thought out, and not at all appealing.

After searching through my mind's and PC's archives I have the perfect character idea now. All that I need is some time to work her out, maybe a day or two st most. I'll seems the final draft to you once she's done.

Though apparently that's done a full 180 now and us girls rule the place!
