Heh. We actually stopped bothering about it. But it still makes us laugh.

Are we ever going to be able to delete our own posts? Or at least be able to delete a post of ours that hasn't yet been responded too in case we accidentally post something?

We can't say with 100% certainty, but based on what we know, its not too likely. Perhaps if it got something like a 5-minute or replied to timer. but even then it would only be a seeming delete. It would be hiding it from sight, which is what mods can do normally for all posts.

Spontaneous logout has occurred twice in the last twenty-four hours. Hasn't happened on any other site.

There are a few bugs like that, but with Mahz away, there isn't much to do.

I am aware that Mahz is a bit MIA; I'm just documenting.

(One more spontaneous logout has occurred. It seems to happen every time the browser is closed and opened, no matter how briefly - something that cookies should survive unless specified otherwise. Browser is set to keep cookies until they expire, and the cookies of other servers do survive. Remember me is always ticked.)

@Shienvien What browser are you using? Not sure if you've already mentioned this.

Firefox doesn't have this problem (at least not for me) and if it's Chrome, I feel like there would be a lot more people posting about it if it was a browser-wide issue.

Does it occur on a different device, or only one? Have you tried reinstalling your browser (Understand if you don't want to reinstall just for one trivial issue, just an idea) or tried a different one? [Insert generic troubleshooting question(s) here]?

Sorry if you've already answered any of these, I don't remember anything beyond the page or two of meme derailment.

Using Linux FF38.0 (to which it just updated this morning ... perhaps I should play waiting game and see whether the issue persists now). I know my main laptop definitely has been having the issue, as has the netbox (both with this site, and this site only); not entirely certain about the heavy-duty desktops, notebook, other laptop or cell. Cell actually has been set to not store cookies, so logout on closing browser is currently the expected behaviour. I could try Chrome on netbox and main laptop and see whether it still logs out every now and then, but I'd prefer not to spawn additional windows (Chrome doesn't support some addons I need on a semi-constant basis and breaks the outlay of some sites I use, so switching to it as a main is pretty much out of the question).
Nothing in laptop/netbox browser settings (on Linux-side, anyway) that should cause such behaviour, haven't removed any site cookies manually, et cetera, et cetera.

(...I am definitely not going to purge my rather customised browser just to see whether reinstalling it would fix something it is extremely unlikely to fix and which only occurs on one site.)

Not available at the moment. I believe it is somewhere in the to do list, however, though not as the first priority.
