Scent: Mako exercises a lot, so usually either smells of sweat, or men's deodorant. You know, the kind all the kid's used after P.E class. He also smokes, and may often smell of it. If caught in his room, his fingers may also smell on cannabis. On nights out, he usually wears standard men's aftershave and herbal shampoo in his hair that smells on lavender. Because he's worth it.

Voice: Mako has a deep, boyish voice that can sound croaky from his smoking habit - an exact contrast to his singing voice, which is soft and quiet (which could make for an interesting scene). He often laughs, but is politely quiet and often chilled in his pronunciation and tone. He has a thick Yorkshire accent and will often use slang terms, which non-English characters could find hard to understand.

Body: Mako is usually relaxed and fine with being touched, embraced etc. however, he is also quite sturdy and bulky. He tends to add gestures when explaining things, and finds it hard not to fiddle with things when sat down. Mako is a hugger, not a hand-shaker.

OK, does anyone else feel the IC is moving a little... slow? (Nothing to do with your posts of course, I just don't think I gave you the most creative of environments to intro with...) I'm beginning to think it's time to move us up to the school. But then again I'm notoriously impatient... So if this speed is working for you guys, let me know and we'll gladly keep at the current pace.

If the general opinion is that people want to move forward, I will post a timeskip at about 5pm GMT. That gives people enough time to still include any of the initial introductions and interactions they want to do for this scene, and for some people to make their first posts if they haven't had chance to do so yet. Naturally, if the general opinion is that you'd like to stick in the clearing for a while longer, then I won't post the timeskip - but I need you to let me know!

The time here is 1.30am. So, if people want to post during this scene, they have around fifteen hours to do so.

I'll post a timeskip post, yes. It would be relatively simple. The bus would arrive, we'd get on. I'd talk us through a 'welcome assembly' within my post, and action would resume as people leave the assembly to get their dorm keys.

Sorry for the late replies this weekend's been busy I forgot my birthday party was even a thing lord almost forgot until people came over fuCK

Scent: Jinkee's uses the triple threat combo in terms of shampoo- she uses a generic Mane and Tail horse shampoo thing that helps it get longer, and then uses mint conditioner for the scalp, coconut milk conditioner for the middle, and another one that changes for her ends. Durin this time it's probably something soft from Pantene or whatever. She washes every day given her condition, and uses Dove soap for it because she doesn't trust body washes. Other than shampoos, she stays to scent less deodorants and lotions.

Voice: She easily expresses herself through her tone which is low in nature. It's easy to tell she's a girl, but sometimes when she pitches her tone down or whispers it's hard to differentiate from a young boy. It's got the slightest hint of a filipino accent, but barely noticeable. It has a very comfortable hum to it if you know what I'm talkig about? Like she has a good grasp on fluidity, even when she's awkward it seems like it's not awkward?

Body: Definitely a hugger, toucher, kisser- but can't because of her problem. So expect Jinkee to be holdin herself back or leaning close- very excitable. She stands tall for the most part, and is as expressive with her body as with her voice. There's a lot of talking with her hands and pointing with her lips and shaking of her head- sometimes when standing and waiting she'll do a few light stretches or sway herself side to side in a small distracting dance.

How do you want us to deal with short conversation points in this role play? As you can see I did the revert edit, but I know a lot of people aren't huge fans of this.

Since a character asked a question directly at mine I went back and edited in my characters response. This way I don't get forced with either posting a short reply or waiting for five other things to happen before replying and the conversation is drowned out by all the other actions and conversation that happened.

Normally a collaboration post is easiest but with us doing a group conversation I wasn't sure what the Gms would like us to do. Eager for input going forward :D

You can expect Miss Rodgers at reception to tell you the name of your room-mate. Her power is panmnesia; the ability to remember everything one thinks, feels, encounters, and experiences. So whilst she comes across as a bit ditzy and giggly, she's actually incredibly intelligent. She can tell you anything you need to know about the school and anyone in it.
