Thank you for the encouragement about my character sheet. That's the first one I ever made so I was really hoping it turned out okay. I realized a while after I posted the CS that I miss-represented Titus. For now I guess I'll change it to a random village South of Titus. Would that be okay? I just wanted it to be on the edge of where the plague has spread and not too far from The Cross Roads. Should I edit my CS and re-post it so that it can be added to the characters list?
You should be proud of your CS as it is of very good quality, especially if its your first one! If you want to go along with the tribal thing still, you'd need to go North of Titus. It's taken seven weeks for the bulk of the hordes to travel down from Falkreach to Minorhold (although the plague can be spotted everywhere), and many Northerners have been able to outrun it, so there wouldn't be an issue if you wanted to say she started in the North and retreated to the Cross Roads. Alternatively you could change your story slightly and start more southward. It's really up to you.
It may help to try comparing the God of Light to another real-world religion that is similar in doctrine (if there is such a real-world religion) if you want to save time. That's a total suggestion.... you may have a fully thought out religion ready to go. If so, I can't wait to read about it.
I'll be adding more information shortly, and you're welcome to fill in any blanks I leave. I took inspiration from the rise of Catholicism and the decline of paganism and pantheons. There are many similarities between the Church of Light and early Catholicism, but its certainly in no way a carbon copy and I certainly don't want to offend anyone xP
As far as my comment about not being a patient person, that was a comment on my own shortcomings, not yours. I totally understand that you and everyone else have lives outside of RP. I myself have been known to take a hiatus here and there. No worries, and I'm really sorry to hear about how you spent your weekend.
No worries. I get that you guys weren't being overly serious, but I like being informative with my replies haha
On a RP related note, I hope we get some people in here with characters who know how to fight, lol. So far we have a 13 year old girl, an untrained fighter priest, and a bookish pipsqueek. Of course we have Roven who seems pretty B.A., but I think we will need more than this against a horde of zombies.
True dat! My characters can fight, and I should get them up in the next few days.
Ah, I see my bad. Wasn't paying attention.... emberassing.
So you should, you silly silly goose.
@Fat Boy Kyle Of course I realized there are still places, but manners dictate that I must ask first still. :3 And from this post onwards I will be working on the CS! I have the vague feeling I may have troubles finding the right picture, but that's just one of the hurdles on the road that I must overcome! * does an overly dramatic pose, pointing at the sky with imaginary sword*
To be honest I don't mind whether or not you use a picture. If you can't find one that fits you're welcome to just give a detailed description. The pictures are supposed to be more of a reference anyway. Doesn't have to be a fully body picture either; or if it is, they don't need to be wearing the right clothes.
p.s. stop waving that imaginary sword around before you poke an imaginary friend's eye out :P
