Adrian just sighed. This just had to happen, didn't it? Add to the list of reasons...
"No, I'm good, I know how it all goes." He turned to the taller one, the guy who'd caused the... well, simply put, the trainwreck. "You should probably get out of here before something worse happens. Come on." With that, he grabbed the other Trainer by the arm and forcibly marched him out of the building, Magnus in tow. Once they'd left through the open front doors, he let go.
"Sorry about that, but it was better that you got out of the Lab sooner rather than later. There have been several incidents, all of them during League registrations, when the old Prof misinterpreted Gary's name," Adrian explained. "Each one usually coincides with a sharp increase in the difficulty of the Viridian Gym's challenge... he's not gonna be happy if he remembers you when we take on the last of the Gyms." He gave a brief grimace. "Honestly, I figure Oak should've been retired years ago. By force if need be. The Lab and the League would both benefit from a replacement."
It then occurred to him that the other guy probably didn't even know who he was. "Um, sorry, I should introduce myself. Adrian Manuka, of Celadon. The little guy is Magnus."
Beep.
