I actually speak Spanish, but only to some degree, past an present tense but no future tense. I've got an idea on how Portuguese and Italian words should sound, but I use a translator for those.
In other words, I'm home from vacation now, so I have all the time in the world to write. Expect a post from me today.
I sent out a few pings over PM to our more absent cast mates. Let's hope they respond. It'd be a shame to loose people at this early leg of the journey.

Yes I hope we haven't, I like how diverse our cast is! Before the site went down I wrote mainly in casual/high casual, though I felt I didn't really belong there, because I always wanted to write more, way more. I wanted the same effort from all the players, but that was very uncommon and if not difficult. Once the site came back up, I tried advanced; and I've been happy with it so far. And being here is similar to writers paradise.

And then everything decided to conspire against me. Sorry if I've been gone, lads and lasses. The Internet Gods decided to smite my house, first by breaking the connection, and then by breaking the router box. Suffice to say, its been an incredibly dreadful and boring five days. I'd ask what I've missed, but it doesn't really feel like I belong here anymore. I wanted to throw up a post when the Harbinger(or whatever he's called) showed up, but things just didn't really twerk out. Shrug, does anyone know what I mean? You miss too much, you don't get a good introduction in, etc

I would hate to see you go! I think your character can still make a comeback (:

I don't think that time-frame has passed yet. We have yet to move beyond the Harbinger by any means actually. If you truly wanted to remain in the RP, I'm fairly certain you could do so. However, I also don't like to put myself in the position of begging people to stay. So all I can really say is that you follow your instinct, do what you think is right. Not only for yourself but everyone else as well.
I'm sure you'll make the right choice, but I'm afraid it's one I'll have to rush you on. I'll need a definite answer as to your interest and availability by Friday at the latest.
Well done, @MacabreFox! Artemisia certainly has a mouth on her, doesn't she?
Let's hope it helps! *Fingers crossed*
Oh, one small thing: Both Leonard and Alistair are from the British isles. The only American is Epunamun, who is actually a former Incan warrior.

She certainly does! She learned from the best, those old Spanish troubadours! (; I will make the proper amends, it was hard for me to not use their first names because Artemisia technically hasn't met them.
@SirBeowulf I hope you stay. I was really liking Wes.
I haven't met a person who doesn't like Wes. Wes is awesome.
If I am gonna stay, I gotta ask. From what I read, the Harbinger lost his lance in the rubble from the explosion. I could see Wes yoinking it and stabbing the shit out of the knight. Could he also look like either of these? (Bonus to anyone who knows who they are.)

I'm afraid that the lance is inhumanly large, and heavy. If Wes is just a normal man, which I'm assuming he is, he would hardly be able to lift the lance with two hands; much less maneuver it in any reasonable way. But I suppose Wes can figure that out by himself if he's willing to run past the soon to be rampaging Harbinger and descend into the freshly built skylight. I'd be happy to collaborate on that or any other post you'd like to write, assuming you'd like my help. Of course, this is contingent on you staying. I can't devote any time to it if I don't get a straight forward answer.
As to your question about the appearance of the Harbinger: the first image isn't showing up, but the second seems accurate enough. Minus the cyclops shades, and lacy parts.

And then you learned that I put all of my points into strength. Wes is one strong motherfucker, and while yeah, I doubt he'd be able to spin it around like a quarterstaff, I'd assume he'd be able to lift it at least. By the way, refresh, I fixed the links.

The lance is made purely of Ebony, seeming to be more for show than anything else. It's not really refined for combat by any means. As I said, I'd be happy to discuss this with you more at length once I know your intentions considering your interest in this RP.
Images: Just cuz I made a reference to Dark Souls doesn't mean that's what this is. The size is about right, but the color, shape, and design are not very accurate. SUPRISE= you may have to just use your imagination.

Isn't it obvious that I'm staying? I'll say it then, I'm sticking with this rp. May our futures be full of rp.
Appearance: Standing at roughly 5.1, a bit of a tan complexion, and a nimble thin but defined frame. Luke sports long sleek black hair almost always tied into a loose messy ponytail reaching in between his shoulder blades. Steel blue eyes separated with a scar that runs from his left cheek bone to the beginning of his right brow from a rapier slash, slight bump in the Ridge of his nose, thin ever smiling lips, and a strong precise jawline mark his face. Luke can almost always be found wearing a dingy white, loose string tied deep v neck blouse with torn sleeves, and black tearing bottoms.
Personality: Luke is a witty and sarcastic smart mouth, whose inability to know when to shut up has gotten him into many a sticky situation. His overconfidence and youthful thoughts of invincibility make him ready to try almost anything.
Skill set: Adequate hand to hand brawler. Cunning thief. Slight knowledge of swordplay. Dagger throwing expert. Fairly quick to pick up new talents.
Languages: French original tongue, Spanish passible, Portuguese fluent, and English fluent.
Bio: Once a member of Nobility, Luke, now lives as a petty criminal. At a very young age, Luke, was taught to read and write trained by his parents to grow to be an advisor to the throne as their family had been for many centuries, needless to say being a young and high spirited boy he was always on the lookout for small adventures, and hoping that he would grow to be allowed to search the world for undiscovered and uncharted land.
On the cusp of, Luke's, 12th birthday, his family's home was raided by the King's guard after being found guilty of treason, undoubtedly a result of another family of nobles trying to usurp the prestige and power the De Sand family had built throughout their years of service. The family was sentence to death as a whole. With the royal guard and Nobel families coming after them, the Du Sand family fled hoping to find safety elsewhere.
They were soon caught as stow aways aboard a ship heading for Spain and as they tried to fight to avoid capture many of them were slaughtered. Luke and his older brother, George, raised arms to defend the remaining of their family. Paralyzed with grief after watching his mother killed before his eyes, he was cut across the face by an opposing rapier. Cowering with blood running from his face, Luke, cornered himself and George was forced to come to his aid. As the two escaped leaving any survivors to be captured and put to death publically. George devised a plan to save the remaining house members on the day if their execution. George fought for the release of his family and was inevivitably cut down. George's final words to, Luke, were for him to escape and clear the Du Sand Name later on in life.
Luke followed his family's original plan and tried once again to stow away aboard a ship without knowing it's destination, and eventually landed in Sintra. Now 3 years later Luke has been living as a street urchin, taking whatever he needed to survive, food, coins, and just about anything else he could get his hands on. After the incident which lead to the destruction if the bakery he was allowed to stay at, as long as he completed odd jobs and deliveries, Luke decided now was the time to clear his name. He seized the opportunity to join on the voyage, hoping to aquire more skills along the way, and hopefully find his way back to France.
Notes: Luke, feels that being the only survivor of his family that he had some sort of blessing cast upon him, which makes it very easy for him to risk his life.

Quite an interesting character, and quite the interesting CS. I'll accept him.
You can add Luke to the Character tab, and then I'll add him to cast list.
