Damon walked out of the building with all of the other students. He sat down on a nearby bench and opened his bag that had all of the equipment given to him in it. After digging around a bit he found the map given to him and opened it, stopping a minute to take in just how big the map was. His hometown was no where near the size of Altor City, not many cities were. As he went over the map he established that the building he had come out of was Center 100. All of the building for the first year students were in the 100's.

"Simple enough I guess." He said to himself.

Damon started toward the train that would take him to the east section of the city, so that he could go to his housing unit. As he walked, he looked around at all the other first year students. Any one of them could be his team mate that he would be with the next four years. It was slightly intimidating to him. Damon came up to the train station and boarded the train that headed to where the East District and the South District met. His house didn't seem to be far from there, so that was his best bet.

As the train traveled, surprisingly fast to him, Damn looked around. He was even more nervous of the fact that he was most likely in the same car as one of his new teammates and he didn't even know who they were. The train arrived quickly and Damon was quick to get off the train. He travel north toward where his home of the next four years would be.

"East 64, this is it." He said looking at his new homes door.

Damon opened the door to see that no one had arrived yet. He sat his bag in the living room and began to look around the house. Seeing it was a four bedroom house relieved him. Damon finally sat down on the sofa provided for him and anxiously awaited his team to arrive.

Timothy left the building with everyone else. He went and sat against the wall of the building and did a quick inventory check of the bag he was given that should have everything he needed. Finding a map, he was glad for it remembering the time he had gotten lost in the seemingly endless forest near his hometown and glad that he wouldn't repeat it here. Looking at the map he found his house to be to the East.

"Well, it is East 64 it is gonna be towards the East duh." He though aloud.

Timothy headed towards the trains and looked for one headed in the direction he wanted to go. As he did he looked around sizing up the other students around him and wondering which ones would turn out to be his team mates. There were people of all ethnicities and he just hoped he didn't end up with a team mate with customs extremely contradictory to his own. He decided to take the train headed to where the Eastern and Southern districts met seeing as it seemed to be the closest to his house. He got on the second to last car and took a seat. He asked a few nearby people what there house number was but no one seated near him was on his team.

"Thanks anyways they must be in another car." He told those he asked.

Very quickly the train arrived at its destination. Timothy double checked his map then headed north towards his house.

"East 64, East 64, East 64, ah here it is"

Timothy opened the door and went inside. He saw that he wasn't the first one here. There was a kinda skinny guy with silver hair and piercings sitting on the sofa.

"Hi, I'm Timothy but you can call me Tim. Were you the first here?" Timothy says.

"Whoops, sorry. Sorry!"

Tons of student just left the building. Erin was one of them. Erin was new to Altor City and still hasn't memorized the city. She brought out her map, the standard map that was given to all students, and tried to figure the city out. It was too complicated for her so she started to ask the residents in Altor City that were around the building.

"Ah, thank you! Train to the East District. Got it!"

Erin waited for the train to arrive. She glanced around, looking at the students, and wondering who will be her team mates. She was one of the students who got out first so she had to wait a bit. Glancing at students grew boring fast so she started trying to memorize the map of Altor City. While trying to memorize the map, the train arrived and Erin immediately hopped aboard. The train was fast, it arrived on the East District station in a few minutes, or at least what it seemed like. Erin got out and started looking for her house.

"East 64? Hmmm, where is it?"

Erin brought out her map again to find where her housing unit is, East 64. After a few minutes of walking, she arrived at her house. Before entering, she sighed heavily to relieve her tense. Opening that door is starting a new life for her. She opened the door.

"Oh, people already! Ah, my name is Erin. Did you all just get here too?" Erin asked as she introduced herself.

Arlotte trailed behind his peers, moving with a pace that was only fractions slower than that of the the people ahead of himself. The energy throughout the room was electric, such a prestigious school brought in a variety of faces and backgrounds, whatever people sought after, this was their first stepping stone across the vast lake that was their destiny. Still, the dean's words had interested him - not the part about the common knowledge of magic, but rather the growth this school was seeing. Sixty student increase, huh? It'd be interesting to see the dropout rate of first years as well. What number of people approach this school expecting an easy ride? Surely the lessons of a protector would be too brutal for some... Well, that needn't concern me.

He sat himself down onto a bench outside of the building as some began to do the same, whether it was to relax themselves or to find the map that would direct them to their housing, each sat for their reasons, but his reason was his alone. He opened his bag, pushing the map deeper into the bag, he pushed it to to the side and when his hand brushed the wooden sheath of his blade a shiver reached down his spine, coiling around him. Hurriedly he pulled out his hand, closing the bag. Aah, not now. These people, any one of them could be paired with me for the remainder of my time here. Best not make bad first impressions. Standing back up, he reached into his bag and pulled out the map, searching for where his housing was and pushing it back into the bag.

Arlotte looked at the crowd headed towards the train, deciding against taking the train he began his walk East to where his new place of residents would be. East 64, huh?

There he stood, facing the door to East 64 - not wasting a moment, he pushed it open, and there inside was all three of his peers. He let out an exasperated sigh in response to his own lateness.

"Aah, excuse my lateness. The train was far too packed so I took it upon myself to travel here by foot."

As Damon sat on the couch someone opened the door and quickly introduced himself. It caught him a little off-guard, so for a slight moment Damon stared at the man in confusion. Damon quickly realized this was his new teammate and stood up to introduce himself.

"Oh! Hey! Yeah, I was the first here, I wanted to get my stuff here and meet everyone then head out to town and look around. It's nice to meet you, Tim. I'm-" Damon was cut short by a girl walking in the door.

Damon took a moment of pause, a little astonished by how quickly everyone had arrived. "Oh, hello there! Haha, no, we haven't been here long at all. He just walked in the door, and I've only been here a couple of minutes. I'm Damon, it's a pleasure to meet the both of you."

The three of them were only in the room a little while before their final team member had arrived. He had walked to their house. It seemed like everyone was polite and friendly, which was a relief for Damon. It was going to be a long and hard four years, but day one was looking good to him.

The man on the couch stood up and began to introduce himself when he was interrupted by a girl walking into the door who introduced herself as Erin. The man the introduced himself as Damon.
"Hi, Erin I'm Tim."

A few minutes later another man walks in. He has white hair and said that he had walked instead of taking the train. He must have walked pretty quickly to have gotten here only a few minutes after the train.

"Hi, we have only been here for a few minutes you are actually just in time. My name is Tim by the way."

~Well looks like everything is of to a good start hopefully it stays that way~ Tim thinks.

"Tim and Damon! Got it. Tim's the black-haired guy and Damon's the white-haired guy..." Erin said, whispering the latter part to herself.

Erin decided to put her baggage down when their last team member arrived. She quickly fixed herself for the new member. She was surprised on how formally the new member talked. That definitely wasn't a way Erin would talk.

"Welcome! I just arrived too so no worries! Name's Erin. Pleased to meet you!" Erin introduced herself, ending it with a bright, flashy smile.

She wasn't sure on what to feel, being the only girl in the team. Nonetheless, everyone looked good and she can already sense everyone's different, which is good. Now, to settle down and be comfortable with one another.

Walking in, Arlotte looked at Tim and Erin, acknowledging their introductions, "The pleasure is all mine" His mouth widened into a warm smile as he continued to talk, "My name is Arlotte Write, I look forward to working alongside you all" He pulled his right arm behind his back, pulling the door closed before letting his bag down next to the entrance. These people, there's a reason they were assigned into this team alongside myself. It'll be interesting seeing and learning everyone's faults and abilities throughout the years.

Arlotte propped himself up against the wall, resting his chin on his hand. "I believe I didn't catch your name," he said, throwing the fellow white haired man in inquiring look. If you would do me the honors, I would be delighted to make your acquaintance

"Sorry about that, though I like how formal you are. My name is Damon. I'd hate to be rude to everyone, because I know we all just got here, but I'd like to get out and check out the market before the day gets too late. I wanted to get to know everyone, but it seems to have gotten really late really quickly. The sun will start to go down in just a few hours. There are four rooms, two to each side of the house, front and back down each hall. A bathroom to each set of rooms, which is nice if you ask me. If all of you don't mind, I'll set my room in the back on the hall to the right. Then I'll head out. Anyone is welcome to come with me if they like, though I don't have much money." Damon said to the group.

Damon was hoping to find something he would be able to use on the field, outside of the gear that had been given to him. He wasn't sure what he was looking for, but he was hoping for some sort of weapon upgrade or good piece of armor. Damon was, however, hoping for at least one of them to come along. He was a little afraid to talk to everyone at once, but he enjoyed the thought of having a companion in exploring the city.

"Arlotte. Nice meeting you, Arlotte!"

Erin had to make a really important choice, where to stay. She had to share a bathroom with one guy. Her choice was the most drastic.

"I'll take the first room on the front then! And Damon, I'd love to come. I don't really need anything, but I might find some cute stuff or great deals." Erin said enthusiastically, accepting Damon's invitation. She decided to take the front room because the person who takes the other room should be wary that he'll be sharing a bathroom with a girl, or so she thought.

"Right, I'll put my things in my room and settle down a bit. Call me when you need me!" Erin was the first to enter her room. Her room was nothing special, it was furnished for the most part. It had all the things she needs : a bed, a drawer, a study table and a chair, and a cabinet. She decides to unpack her clothes and puts a picture of her family beside her table. Four years before she gets to see them, she thought.

~Hmm it seems me and Damon have similar thinking processes. If I take the left and back I'll be sharing a bathroom with Erin, but I really don't want to take a front room.~

"I guess I will take the room in the back of the hall on the left."

Timothy had a sister and three younger brother's who he had shared a bathroom with, and was pretty sure he could take sharing a bathroom with one girl. He also decided to go out to the shops, he had made a good bit of money back home as a guide/hunter and had brought it with the intention of using it to help himself and his team mates get any initial equipment they might want or need. While he did have a relatively large amount he at most will be able to buy one or two weapons per person unless he gets low quality items.

"Also about going to the shops I'll come if there is an item you really want or need tell me I will at least help pay for it. I have saved quite a bit for this reason so don't be worried about paying me back or anything. We will be depending on each other to stay alive and if I can do anything to make that easier I will."

Timothy went and threw his bag onto his new bed and took out the backpack he had his money and a few things from home in. He then went to sit on the couch and wait for the others to be ready to head out.

"Very well then, it looks like I'll be taking the final room," he said, nodding. He'd be sharing a bathroom with Damon, who had wanted to head out to the market. "I guess I'd be a bit of a spoil sport if I didn't come along for this group outing." Tim had seemingly brought enough money for them to buy some basic weapons. They both had similar intentions.

He pulled his bag off the ground and made his way to his room. There inside, was nothing intricate, it was a simple room with simple furnishings. He pulled open his bag, grabbing the map and his money. He didn't need to prepare decorate or set up anything in his room, so he simply left it as it was before heading back to the main room.

Seeing Tim waiting on the couch, he sat beside him and pulled out his map, scanning the different areas in hopes of memorizing the layout of not just the market, but everything else as well.

"I as well have brought some money, seeing as we'll be relying on one another, I thought it best to be able to rely on one another financially as well. That being said, seeing as everyone will be looking to you for anything they need, perhaps you should take it," he said to Tim, pulling out his money with his free hand. "This'll cause less hassle, and if anyone wants some armor or small upgrades, this much'll suffice."

Tim offered money to the group to assist with funding anything someone would want to buy. Damon found it very generous. He was thankful for how generous his teammate was, and yet he couldn't bring himself to take any money from someone, especially with first meeting them.

"That's really nice of you Tim, but don't worry about me. I managed to get some decent money before I came here. I knew I might need it. I'm not really looking for anything, but I figure it might be nice to check out all the market has to offer and make plans for future equipment. I'll go set my stuff in my room and we'll all head out once everyone is ready."

Damon walked into his room and set his bag next to his bed. He sat on the edge of the bed and trifled through his bag. He found his map again as well as the bag he had his silver and few gold coins in. All together he had about 350 silver counting the three gold coins he managed to get for a dragon's tooth he pulled from a carcass the month prior. Damon put his map in his pocket and proceeded to head into the living room.

As Damon stepped into the living room, he noticed that Arlotte had handed Tim his money.

"I'd say you could carry my money too, but I know it can kind of weigh a person down in bulk like that. Anyone is welcome to my money too, though." Damon was starting to see how the group dynamic was going to work when it came to living together. "Maybe we should just pool all of our money together, but our spending money and our food money. It'd probably be easier to keep track of that way. Might put a strain on the team if we get stingy, but so far everyone sees very laid back with each other." Damon stated as he was already starting to trust in the integrity of his team. "I guess we should probably wait to discuss all of that, though. After Erin comes back, we should definitely head out though. From the way the map looks, the market is huge."

Having accepted Arlotte's offer Tim started to add up the amount of money he would be carrying. Including the money Arlotte just gave him he had about 950 silver. Damon turned down his offer saying he had brought money on his own. This reminded Tim of his father who wouldn't accept favors from people unless he felt he knew them well enough, and had the ability to return the favor quickly. Damon did suggest pooling all their money and said he would carry his own for now if only to lessen the burden on Tim.

"Well if we are gonna pool our money together we should stop by the bank. If I remember correctly there is a branch in the marketplace. Though I guess we should wait for Erin so we can get her opinion."

Erin was done unpacking, and she grabbed money to ready herself for some shopping. She left her room and headed where everyone was. Everyone was in the living room. The living room was near to her room but not near enough to eavesdrop on conversations that were happening in the living room. It seems like everyone was ready and was only waiting for her.

"I'm all set! Ready to go?"

Everyone was staring at Erin, as if they were gonna interrogate her, or at least that's what she felt. She felt a bit awkward since they're new to each other. Did she miss an important conversation?

"So, uh, are we going?"

Arlotte folded his map, setting it on his lap as Erin entered the room. With her, that meant everybody was prepared to go.

"Erin is correct, we'd best head out," he said, nodding as he stood up.

They'd best make haste too, considering the time. It may not be too long before the shops close up.

"What would your opinion be if we were to pool our money together outside of food and spending money? We believe it would make things easier, and personally I think it would help break down any mental barriers, alongside financial ones, seeing as we would have to be more reliant on our earnings as a team."

Arlotte stared at her inquisitively, but quickly Damon's words began to ring in his ear. The market was vast, and any additional time there would most likely be appreciated, not just for himself, but for everyone in general.

"Actually, perhaps you'd best tell us your opinion on the subject as we make our way to the market. After all, we'll need to discuss something along the way."

"He's right, we should just talk about it on the way. From the way the map looks, our best bet on making good time is to go to the train closest to here and stay on that train until we make it to where the North District and North District meet." Damon said as he opened the door. "I hate to rush everyone, but I also have no idea when the shops close either."

Damon was ready to go, as always. It was in his nature to keep on the move. He had always been quick to do everything, which had a tendency to get him in trouble. As he looked over his teammates, he knew it would be a problem in combat. However, he'd already grown to trust them, and it was as if he knew they would have his back. He felt safe with his team. Damon didn't often ever feel safe working with anyone else, but something about today had reassured him that everything would be alright.

"Yeah, I agree we can discuss it on the way. That will give us more time to actually look around. So, are we gonna walk there or take the train?"

Tim had an itch to yell out 'Last one there carries the items!' but refrained. Still he was in a good mood and glad to do something as a team, even if it was only looking around. He had ended up in a team that seemed to fit together perfectly and wondered what the abilities of his teammates were. He got up and started to head to the door pausing to wait for an answer.

"Let's head out then!"

Erin went out first. She was enthusiastic to bond with her new team mates for the first time. She had no idea where the market was so she decided to wait for everyone to catch up. Her being in front would be a terrible idea. Erin didn't need anything. She had her Halberd with her and her throwing knives were inside her bag. She had all the necessites she needed but she figured she'd go along as everyone was going and she might find some good deals for some items even though she didn't it.

"About the money thing, I'm totally fine with it. To be honest, I think I'm better off without money in my hands. I might spend it on useless stuff. Then again, without money, I can't spend it on useless stuff." Erin sighed as she continued to follow Damon, who seems to know the place well enough.

"What sort of 'useless stuff' would you spend the money on?" Arlotte looked at Erin with a questioning gaze. Throughout his life he'd always been taught that everything had a purpose, even the smallest things. Not once had he ever come across an item which he'd deemed useless, and the same went for the people he interacted with. Or perhaps he'd simply taken her too literally.

Arlotte's mind began to think up how these partners of his would interact with himself in combat. Already, he began to pick up little pieces of how their actions might portray their actions in combat. Damon appeared more rushed and straight forward, while being more reliant on himself. Erin had been the first to exit, but in contradiction let Damon lead the way. Tim had been willing to let others rely on him, and had supported the idea of a cooperative foundation for money. Speaking of which...

"Oh yes, Tim mentioned a bank. Should we stop there before shopping or afterwards?"
