When we reached the one-thousandth OOC post, I remember looking over and seeing only 10 IC posts.

10 IC posts for 1000 OOC posts
In other words, we posted ONE HUNDRED TIMES MORE in the OOC than in the IC

Probably, but not all of us are writing world-destroying posts of 22000 characters.
