Oh, my bad. For some reason I thought this was the advanced roleplayer's forum! Silly me. I'll keep it down to a paragraph or less moving forward. :p

Nah, I read it. I've got some experience grading stuff and this all seems fine, but then again, this is advanced so I'd have just accepted it right away. Rationality and a brain are pretty much requirements for joining RP's here. Then again, I am a mere co-GM who hasn't done much as of yet, so don't take my word for anything.

@Centimane I really like the portrayal of the 'opposite' end of the spectrum of magical arts. The more 'folksy' stuff. Nice character.

@The Captain Thanks man! That's what I was going for: folk magic and folk religion. If I do it right, it'll keep Shikoba interesting as a magic user, but leave Drusus plenty of room to stretch his wings and really shine as the group's sorcerer.

As I see it, Drusus is the college educated doctor who's an expert in his field and has a string of letters after his name; Shikoba's the wise old medicine man. If you need to make an effective poultice using only the ingredients available to hand, call Shikoba, but if you need someone to perform open heart surgery, call Drusus.

rofl that's some quite fitting analogy there :3 I actually had a character planned as a possible second one eventually, that was going to be melee oriented magic user lol, but with two avaible magicians now no need to bring another one

Dawnguards sounds quite good actually I think. Not really derogatory in any means and it actually could mean just that dawnguard: The guard of dawn lol

Sunstealers. They are Dawn, resembling those who 'invented' the Church of Light. But their faith might be more grandeuse than in Vahili, causing the Vahili to call them 'Sunstealers' - those who took the faith and twisted it.

Not sure techinique is the right word for it... ^_^ but works in the lack of better fitting one for now.
