(This is a role centered roleplay- where bio's are already determined for your characters to a certain degree. This roleplay also relies on an Honor and Fame system- which will be explained more in depth farther below.)
Plot: Set in the an alternate universe of our world- Earth has expanded its reign into the majority of our solar system and beyond. Warp travel had been mastered by 1948 and quickly evolved spacetravel for the world forever. Now, in 2015, everyone has a shuttle of some sort. And where the masses flock so does their filth. Newly discovered ecosystems have decayed as travelers have made them either their homesteads or vacation spots. Soon planets such as Mars and Venus began to show signs of following the same path as their wasting cousin Earth- and action was finally taken to address the need for a conservation effort.
In enter the first organized group of Stratamen. All are volunteers coming from different walks of life- with an array of reasons for taking up the task. But what was first conceived with the notion of simply setting restrictions on the encroaching human populace and enforcing them- turned out to be a whole other monster. Turns out that humans were merely the catalyst for the decay of worlds- their presence on the planets have awakened a force that has been dormant.
The goal of each Strataman is to protect human life and maintain the balance of the worlds they encounter. Through their journey they will encounter beings and situations that- quite honestly- they may have not signed up for.
Goal of Roleplay: To have a small group of adventurers travel through space- exploring known and unknown worlds- meeting colorful characters and monsters along the way. Defeat an evil while they're at it, too.

-There are three races: Humans, Avitae, and Mechanoids
(RESERVED) The Pilot (all three) for Midori
The Soldier (all three)
The Nobleblood (Avitae)
The Medic (Human or Avitae)

The Prisoner (Human or Mechanoid)
The Engineer (Human or Mechanoid)

Humans- standard. Either Earth, Mars, or Venus born.
Avitae- hailing from Neptune, the only planet that has not yet been terraformed in this immediate solar system.
Mechanoid- AI that worked under the humans in the past. Now many work for themselves out on the frontier.
Honor and Fame
-All Fame starts at zero. The stratamen are, for the most part, a group of nobodies. To gain fame they must preform tasks of merit to gain it- these tasks can be small (like returning a lost child to its mother) or large (like killing an evil monster). Positive fame will be gained by performing positive acts and this will change how people act around your character- this also has the potential of other benefits. Negative fame can be gained from performing negative acts, this also changes the attitudes of others towards you- benefits from this can also be made (although these are fear based and your Commanding officer will be livid- you represent Earth, so keep this in consideration)
-Base Honor is dependent on the Role (race and class) of your character. The Honor of your character is influenced by their decisions also. Honor grows with positive acts and the world regards an Honorable character more positively. Honor can weaken depending on your characters decisions also. Honor influences how others think of your character- benefits of an honorable character include lower prices at shops, protection from the law (to a minor degree), and opportunities depending on the situation.
-In short Fame and Honor determine how the world views you. Fame is attention. Honor is more how NPCs will regard your character.
Misc.
-They will all board an underfunded ship. One that cannot even afford Warp travel at first. Gaining enough Fame will open up the Warp travel opportunity. While Honor lowers the prices of its upkeep.
