Tyler is a pretty well built guy with medium long hair usually worn slicked to the back, a goatee and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo of a cobra snake on his left shoulder blade. He wears a thick silver ring on the 3rd finger of his right hand. He likes to wear whatever appeals to him and feels comfortable in. He can be seen wearing his most common attire in the picture below.

Tyler dosen't have a specific type of clothing that he wears constantly. As stated above, he wears whatever he likes or feels comfortable in. He prefers however, to stay away from suits and anything like that. Although many have said that he looks good in one, Tyler just dosen't feel comfortable wearing them.

Tyler is a man that is loyal and protective to his friends and whatever family he has left in this world that gives a damn about him, like his cousin, aunt and uncle, with whom he talks on the phone a lot. He prefers to stay away from his parents who disowned him a long time ago after finding out that he's a metahuman. He also hates talking about them and always prefers to change the subject. He is withdrawn among strangers, but has good manners, and shows a softer side when it comes to women and small children not yet in their teens. Tyler is prone to violence after being angered and he has an explosive temper when he is betrayed, manipulated, or his loyalty is questioned, but he is also quick to help the defenseless and unfortunate, even those he merely meets in passing. He seems to have a strong dislike for politics and politicians in general often criticizing them or insulting them. He also hates drugs, often refusing his best friend Wesley's offers of marijuana. Tyler also seems to not drink. Preffering either water or soda. Well, Tyler dosen't refuse alcohol entirely, he drinks a beer every now and then but you'll never catch him putting his mouth on stronger things. Maria's betrayal constantly consumes him and he can't seem to let it go, sometime looking for ways to consume that anger. Niko has a certain degree of pity for other people, even random strangers, and feels obliged to help others who cannot help themselves. He is also surprisingly calm when speaking to authority figures, even if he happends to hate those particular people.

Tyler loves cars, almost to the point that many stated he has an obsession over them. Tyler however claimed that is not true and that he's just passionate. Another thing he likes a lot is music. Music is an important part of Tyler's life, he listens to it no matter what he does. He usually prefers rock and metal. He also likes to watch fighting and racing on TV, whenever he has the time. He plays video games a lot too and he has become quite a passion as well.

Tyler is a very talented driver and auto mechanic. When it comes to fixing cars, or driving them, nothing is too hard or impossible. He is also quite a good cook. Tyler's best friend Wesley, with whom Tyler shares the same apartment always complements his cooking. Also due to the many years spent as a criminal, Tyler knows a thing or two about fighting and using guns too. Sure he's no Bruce Lee or Rambo but can hold his own if the shit hits the fan.

A 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. The car's color is Copper both on the interior and the exterior and the mighty 426 Hemi V8 engine roars under the hood. It underwent two restorations so far and Tyler did his best to keep it original.

Tyler was born in New York, in a rather wealthy family. His father owned an import-export company and had a lot of money that was coming from that. Tyler's father, David dreamed of seeing his son lead the company one day. But Tyler wanted to be his own man and win his own money, always beying rebellious. Because of that the two argued a lot during Tyler's adolescence. At the age of 19 he discovered he's a metahuman. He managed for about a year to keep his family from finding out but once they did, all hell broke loose in David Andreson's villa. Tyler was kicked out and disowned by his family. Tyler ended up on the streets and struggling to survive. That's when he met a girl named Maria. The two liked each other and Maria became his girlfriend. Tyler started making money out of illegal street racing, after some time, he managed to buy a car shop that was for sale. However he lost the place after just 8 months of owning it, after he placed it as leverage on a street race which in the end he lost. After that unfortunate event Tyler, 24 years old at the time, left the city together with Maria and the two embarked on a crime spree that lasted for about 5 years, until Tyler was betrayed by Maria after the two just finished robbing a bank and were in a safe house from Atlanta. Maria shot him in the leg, took all his money and ran off leaving him with only his car, a copper colored 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. However before leaving Maria justified herself by saying that she's a very ambitious girl with big plans and that Tyler's just a petty thief.

After that particular event Tyler found his way to Verthaven in California, where again he resorted to street racing for money. This time however he proved to be more lucky. At the races Tyler also met an african-american named Wesley. The two became friends and started a partnership. Now three years later Tyler and Wesley are like brothers and rarely do anything separately. He has a car shop which is owned in partnership with Wesley and an apartment in Downtown, which of course, he shares with Wesley, but that didn't happen until 5 montha ago, after Wesley was evicted from his home because of unpaid debts and Tyler took him in his apartment. Although his life now is a little better then it was before the bottom line is that Tyler's life is far from perfect. He's been suffering from financial problems lately and the italians want him dead. Every now and then Tyler also thinks about Maria and her betrayal. It's been three years and it still makes him very angry but he has no idea how he'd react if he would see her again.

He can also focus his senses to look for a particular sight/sound/smell/taste/feel and block out all others. Also metahumans that can project illusions or fake copies of themselves will have no chance of fooling him. The same thing goes for metahumanss that can shapeshift into animals or other humans as Tyler is able to see through their disguise by using his senses.

It way over the middle of the night, somewhere close to 2 AM in the morning. The summer festival would start later during the day and most of it was in Downtown where Tyler and Wesley were living. Tyler wakes up at the sound of the door bell. He heads over to the door pretty upset and unlocks it as Wesley bursts inside with a very happy look on his face. "Seriously...did you check the time? It's 2 in the morning. Maybe you're a night bird but i'm trying to sleep. We gotta finish that Camaro tomorow. And besides, don't you have a key?" Said Tyler with a sleepy voice and a sleepy look on his face. "That's exacty what I wanted to talk to you about. I finished that white 2009 Camaro SS about four hours ago. I mounted the supercharger, I added the stripes, I cleaned it up on the inside and on the outside. Hell I even took some pictures too...for our album with all the restorations we've made. And then I took it to the races to see how it behaves, because you know, we need money. Man I gotta say, that car kicked ass you know, and look, your boy won 8.000 $." Said Wesley as he pulled out a thick stack of money from his leather jacket and slammed it on the table.

"I wanted to be a surprise. You've been so busy lately trying to find ways for us to get rid of our financial issues that I decided to ease up your work a little. After all you're my partner and my homie." Said Wesley as he grabbed a sleepy Tyler and hugged him. Tyler hugged him back and slapped him two times on his back. "Seriously, I'm going back to bed. We'll talk more about this in the morning." Said Tyler as he headed back to the bedroom.

Claire is a girl of average height and weight. She is fairly toned (a life on the street tends to do this to you) and is pretty strong for a girl her size. She is extremely unladylike in her build and general posture, often moving with a swaggering walk like she knows she’s the shit. Her skin is actually slightly tanned but the black clothes and hair make it appear much paler than it actually is. Claire’s right arm is a sleeve of tattoos with various shapes and meanings. The image of a rose appears often in these. At the top of her right shoulder is a large colorful tattoo of a sugar skull.
Her face is heart-shaped and is set off by a rather obvious scar on her chin. Her hair is an unnatural jet black and is worn in a rather ragged chop-job which suits her oddly. Her hair pretty much exists in a state of disheveledness. Her eyes are almond-shaped with long full lashes and thin eyebrows. She has a very angular face, with a sharp nose and high cheekbones. Her lips are pale and generally scowl. There are dots of acne along her jaw, but her makeup covers this up to a degree. Claire’s teeth are white but slightly crooked. One or two of her molars are capped in metal from getting broken in fights. Her fingernails are painted metallic silver.

Punk isn’t dead! Claire dresses like a biker girl who just got back from a Halestorm concert. She normally wears a pair of black skinny jeans with a tank top or tee shirt with something from one of her favorite bands and a black studded leather jacket that cuts off just above her waist. The back, sides, and arms of the jacket are pockmarked with silver studs. She wears a pair of black combat boots on her feet.

How do I put this gently...Claire is in general a jackass. She’s known for having a short temper and a hard fist. She has more balls than brains, so the saying goes, and because of this seems to constantly be getting in fights with people. She is known to be rather reckless, devil may care attitude, throwing herself into danger constantly for seemingly no reason. She is incredibly blunt and quite honestly doesn’t give a shit if anyone’s offended by what she has to say. Claire is the type of person who says the thing that no one else is ballsy enough to say. You can’t knock her for her courage, though. She’s something else when it comes to that.
Claire is stubborn as a rock and just as unintelligent; obviously honors classes aren’t her thing. Claire is one of those insecure teenaged girls who instead of trying to fit in and blend with the rest of society does the opposite by trying to look as out of place as possible so as to laugh at insecurity. This makes Claire a rather unpopular person, as she makes fun of everyone and everything. This is generally harmless, though, and those who have come to know Claire understand that she doesn’t mean any harm.

Smoking, fighting, drinking, making fun of people, making lewd sexual references. She generally enjoys getting into trouble and/or getting trashed. She’s probably an alcoholic, but she doesn’t care. She loves guitar, playing both six-string and bass. Claire’s dream is to one day become a professional guitarist. She draws occasionally, but she’s really self-conscious about her drawing, so these are only doodles. Claire is a big fan of really spicy food, especially Mexican. Her music fits her personality and appearance; Halestorm, Paramore, Panic! at the Disco, Fallout Boy, My Chemical Romance, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Pink. Despite her appearance, she reads a good bit (not having a lot of people to hang out with encourages reading). She loves Looking for Alaska.

She’s a good guitarist and has a nice rock voice. She’s a pretty good artist, having designed most of her own tattoos (save the skull). Claire also has a good sense of streetsmart to balance out her lack of booksmart. She knows who to fuck with and who not to fuck with, and reads body language well. From living on the streets, she has learned how to fight fairly well (or more so how to fight dirty), but any trained fighter would probably school her in straight hand-to-hand combat.

Claire was born in Mendel to a pretty shitty family. Her father was an abusive drunk and her mother was completely useless and submissive. The only real parental figure that Claire ever truly recognized was her brother Damien, who himself wasn’t the best guy. Damien was significantly older than Claire, and he was a lieutenant in The Skulls, one of Mendel’s two meta gangs. Because her father was so violent, Claire generally spent her life outside, and often followed Damien wherever he went. Damien was known as the responsible Skull, and so he would often not partake in drinking if Claire was around.
When Claire turned seven, she discovered her power. One day, she walked in on her father beating her mother. Her father looked up and tried to come after Claire herself. Damien wasn’t there- he had detention -and so Claire was helpless. Just as her father approached her, however, she felt an energy well up inside of her. The moment he touched her, an arc of electricity shot through his body and he was sent flying backwards into the wall. Claire’s father left the next day, and the family never saw him again. In retrospect, this was a massive improvement.
It was the next year that the Mendel Gang War began. Damien wasn’t home as often now that the gang needed him, and Claire began to become quite lonely. She drank her first beer at age eleven, and spent her middle school years getting into trouble. She practically spent her life in detention to get away from her Damien-less family. The Skulls never truly forgot about Claire, though. They always seemed to have her back even during the war. Several times she was saved from potential rapes and muggings by them, and at age thirteen they officially inducted her into the gang, though she was not allowed to see combat against the Vanguard or NEST. She received the tattoo that same year, and over the next few years would complete her tattoo sleeve.
Then the war ended. Skeleton was arrested, Diablo was killed, and many members of the gang fled to Verthaven, where they knew NEST presence to be less intense. Damien and Claire went with them, simply leaving home one day with their high mother cursing after them. They arrived in Verthaven and settled in Union Point Hills. Some of the members who fled (about a dozen of them fled) joined the Fiends, but the others knew better and decided to attempt to live normal lives. They all lived side-by-side each other, working like one big family. When Claire turned fifteen, she was attacked by members of the Fiends. In the course of escaping from them, she released a blast of lightning so strong that two of the gang members were killed, two were put in six-month comas, and all of the streetlights exploded. After this, she was approached by recruiters for Academy 12, and was invited to join the school to learn how to use her powers. In the spirit of living normal lives, the Skulls convinced her to join, and she has been going to school there ever since.

Elemental

Kinetic Electrokinesis: Claire has the ability to create and manipulate electricity through movement. Her nerve cells release twenty times more electrical energy than your average nerve, you see, and so Claire naturally has an electric charge to her, which she can use offensively or to power electronic devices at her touch (her phone never dies). The more Claire moves, the more energy she gains. She can store electrical power in her brain, but only for about fifteen minutes until it leaks out and she has to regenerate it. Electricity, of course, is a pretty powerful form of energy, as it can move at light speed and is extremely hot. This makes Claire pretty dangerous, especially when opponents are carrying metal. Claire’s brain is brimming with electrical power, which gives her a very interesting relationship with telepaths. She is stupidly easy for telepaths to locate, but they cannot enter her thoughts lest they enjoy the sound of white noise due to the powerful electrical current.

Claire has a limit to how much electricity she can use at one time. Her body has adapted to the increase in energy by using it to power certain high-energy organs (ie, the heart). If Claire wastes too much of her power, her heart will give out and she’ll fall into a coma until her body restarts it.
Secondly, motion. Claire has to move in order to generate energy, meaning that if she stops moving, she loses her power. Restraining Claire will cause her to quickly lose her powers. If Claire is knocked unconscious, she loses all of her powers instantly, and while sleeping Claire does not generate a charge, so when she wakes up she temporarily does not have her power.
Thirdly, lightning rods. Any kind of grounded conductor (such as a lightning rod) can draw Claire’s electricity towards it, making her less accurate. She can resist this, but it requires significantly more energy to accurately use her powers in the presence of a grounded conductor, tiring her out quicker.
Claire also has a range restriction on her electricity due to the blooming effect. The blooming effect is essentially where the heat of a projectile causes the oxygen around it to heat into a plasma, making it more difficult for said projectile to travel. This is usually observed with lasers, but it works the same with Claire’s electricity. The blooming effect gives Claire a range restriction of about fifty feet.

Claire’s main weakness is that she is not actually immune to electricity. While her body can tolerate it when it is in a potential form (like, not being used), it cannot tolerate it so well when Claire is releasing her powers, meaning that residual energy can majorly mess her up. To compensate for this, Claire must always be grounded when she uses her powers. Grounding is a process where an excess of charge in an object is removed by transferring it to an object of substantial size. In layman’s terms, Claire needs to be either standing on the ground or touching something metal (or a building with a metal frame) to prevent herself from getting zapped. Basically, if Claire uses her powers when not touching the ground or not touching metal, she electrocutes herself, which can cause some really bad damage.
Speaking of electrocuting oneself, Claire and water don’t mix. Claire has no catlike fear of water, but if Claire uses her power while wet, she can seriously harm herself. Non-pure water (ie all water) is a great conductor, and so Claire using her powers while wet yields a similar effect to taking a bath with an electric heater. Long story short, if Claire uses her powers while wet, she’ll burn the fuck out of herself. When Claire does shock herself while wet, however, she creates an odd effect on electronics around her. In an attempt to keep herself from being fried, Claire releases most of her electricity in a form known as The Discharge, a low-amperage energy wave which is harmless to humans (it might feel like a little static electricity shock) but devastating to electronics. She once shocked herself in this manner while in a Target and blew up the entire electronics section. These effects, however, must be caused by external water, as Claire’s sweat mysteriously will not cause these effects.

As a child, Malik could remember his Mother telling him how alike he was to his father, both in mind and body. Sharing the same oblong shaped head, wide set eyes, and large nose, Malik is an almost picture perfect copy of his father. As a teenager he had grown his hair out into long dreads, but after his imprisonment, Malik has kept his hair short or completely buzzed. Standing tall, and toned, his body is proportional and evenly muscular from working out often. Blessed with little acne, risen scars from past fights stand out on his ebony skin, covering most or his upper arms and chest. Originally given the nickname Goblin thanks to his large, pointed ears, and grin, the dilation of his eyes when activating his powers gives him an even more sinister look. With a deep almost rumbling voice, and a laugh that's often described as booming, he can be a real loud mouth when he wants to be. While his constant grin is often seen as menacing, or intense, his cheery disposition has become his greatest defense in uncomfortable situations. Hiding behind a grin, or a laugh, Malik hardly expresses himself anymore.

Towards others, Malik does his best to be cordial and social in conversations, but even as a child he never understood the meaning of subtlety. Overly blunt towards strangers, with a cruel humor that makes even his closest friends cringe, Malik has never had a filter. It isn't beneath him to apologize for his actions, however. Malik understands that he can be a bit much, so unless he's with friends or family, he typically stays quiet. Not necessarily uncomfortable around large groups of people, singular interactions and smaller groups allow him to open up more.

The death of his brother has had a huge impact on Malik's beliefs and mentality. Once selfish, and narcissistic, Malik expresses sympathy towards the less fortunate and puts the needs of others before his own. If it means the safety and security for his friends and family, he'd be willing to go through hell and back without a second thought. Especially if it's for his niece, Kiara. Taking on the role of guardian, Malik has made it his goal in life to make sure his niece is happy, and healthy.

Traumatized by the events that put him in prison, Malik experiences frequent anxiety, and bouts of depression. Loud noises make him jumpy, while guns make him edgy. Unable to talk to his niece about her father, DeVonte's name alone brings up hard memories. Working under Moses for so long, there are times that Malik misses the money, and confidence he used to have while running the streets. As the saying goes, snitches get stitches, so it wouldn't surprise him if he pissed off a few people by snitching on Moses. Despite all this, he doesn't regret giving up the life he used to have.

- Middle Man: Thanks to his experience with Moses, Malik knows a number of dealers and homeless around Isabella Isle. If you're itching for a particular fix, or looking for some information about the area, then Malik's your guy.
- Athleticism: If there is one thing Malik is proud of himself for, it's his physical health. Exercising regularly, for coping reasons and to stay healthy, athletic challenges and tests of endurance come easy to him. Believing he can keep up with the best, Malik gets a little competitive when it comes to other people playing against him in certain sports.

Born into poverty, and raised by the streets of Eagle-Rock Row, Malik's life has always been a tug of war between what's right, and the thrill of the fast life. The middle child to a single mother who worked two jobs, Malik and his siblings lacked a stable parental figure and as such, were given to much independence to truly mature. Unlike his younger sister who excelled academically, Malik idolized his older brother DeVonte, and the dangerous gang life he frequently bragged about. Seeing potential in his younger brother once his powers developed at the age of 14, it was through DeVonte's encouragement that Malik began taking his life in the wrong direction.

From middle school to high school his life centered around delinquency, and his own selfish needs. From disregarding school, bullying others, and even committing petty crimes; Malik did what he wanted, and listened to no one but himself. With no clear direction in his life, he began hanging around his brother, and the Red Crowns. Despite his age at the time, Malik's eagerness to prove himself quickly caught the attention of Moses Dereux, a high ranking meta-human and drug dealer of The Red Crown. Taken under his wing Malik became the middle man, messenger boy, and go-to-guy for Moses and his connections on the street. Thanks to this effort, Moses gained more power over the streets and caused internal conflict amongst the Red Crowns.

Addicted to the money he made, and the power he gained while working under Moses, Malik was easily influenced and began participating in robberies, drive-bys, and even drug abuse. Before he realized how deep he was, the Red Crowns retaliated against Moses and his crew, and during a simple meet up a drive by took the life of his older brother, DeVonte. Traumatized, and enraged, the sudden stress triggered something within him and with this new growth in power, Malik attacked the car that shot, and killed his brother. Flipping the vehicle, and critically injuring the people inside, Malik was arrested for gang affiliation, and attempted murder in the second degree.

Good behavior and cooperation with NEST authorities to capture and detain Moses allowed him to be released after six years, instead of his original fifteen year sentence. However, during his imprisonment Malik's family went through rough times of their own. Losing one son to street violence, and the other to prison, Malik's mother became addicted to crack. Caught up in her addiction she lost her job, home, and eventually her daughter and granddaughter. As going in and out of rehab became her usual routine, Malik learned his sister and niece moved in with his grandparents. Upon his release, his grandparents welcomed him with open arms and allowed him to move in with the rest of his family in hopes of giving their grandson a second chance at life.

By visualizing the actions in his head, Malik can lift, grab, and push any inanimate within his field of vision through the influence of his mind. Malik's psychic strength is proportional to his own mental capacity, allowing him to lift objects there times his weight with little trouble. No matter his attempts, Malik has never been able to lift a car again without experiencing debilitating migraines or severe nosebleeds.

Only activating in times of absolute stress, Malik's powers go into overdrive and enter a new of level of destruction whenever his life is in danger. Without conscious effort nearby objects can be moved, or propelled away at high speeds, while small inanimate objects can be compressed or even exploded. His abilities weight limit also doubles in this mode. Completely dictated by his emotion, the stronger Malik feels when in the state, the more uncontrollable it becomes. Caused by a mutation in his genes, upon activation his eyes dilate completely turning the white of his eyes completely black, giving him an almost possessed look.

When entering his Ballistic state, extended use of his abilities can cause disorientation, and at times even disassociation. During these blackouts Malik has little control over himself, or his powers, and has been known to attack anyone around him, at times even hurting himself. As an offensive ability, Malik lacks any kind of defense when fighting. Unable to deflect attacks, or even use his powers as a shield, he is completely open to physical and mental injuries of any variation. Excessive use of his telekinetic powers can leave him, at times, powerless and exhausted. For example: After flipping the car and being arrested Malik wasn't able to activate his abilities for two whole weeks, and for a majority of that time, all he did was sleep.

Currently on parole, Malik is drug tested once week, and is unable to purchase or even hold a gun. He cannot enter the Eagle-Rock Row area, or come into contact with any of the Red Crowns for any reason. If he were to break any of these rules, or fail his drug test, Malik would be immediately arrested and thrown back in prison. Even with his history, his current goal is to become a full-time student at Academy 12.
