Donnie has mutated to possess chloroplasts within his body, allowing him to conduct photosynthesis when in the presence of water and carbon dioxide. As a result his skin is permeable, and he can absorb water and oxygen through it. His veins are greenish instead of blueish and his blood is amberish, sort of like sap.

Appearance:
Donnie is a shorter man, standing at around 5'2"-5'3", and he weighs about as much as a thrown stone. A thin, gaunt thing at first glance, but a life of surviving alone have turned him from placid little boy into a wiry, almost chimp-like young man. His head is squarish, his jaw is chiseled and his chin is cleft. His eyes seem a tad too small and his nose curves out like the beak of a vulture. His hair is black, greasy and hangs down in long, clumped strips like wet meat from his scalp. His skin is a sickly pale, with a slight tinge of green to it, enough to make him look constantly ill. He favors wearing sun-bleached torn jeans, a tight-fitting extra-extra-small t-shirt (it might be from a children's clothing store), a pair of welding goggles and a pair of scuffed cowboy boots. He's not the most fashionable man.

Brief Personality:
By every definition, a fantastic coward. Donnie has no problem with potentially avoiding any trouble he comes across, no matter the extra effort expended in doing so. Some would tell you that he has no shame, as groveling and begging are not beneath him by any means. Otherwise a reclusive individual, his family taught him to never trust anyone but the family. And when you come from a big family, you've got a lot to trust, but without that family there for him, he's suspicious of everyone and everything that he comes across. A coward and a snake.

Background:
Donnie was part of a big family, once upon a time. Mother, father, brothers, sisters. Cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents. Plenty of all of them. The family was big enough to be considered THE Family, at least at one point. Life was good, from what he's been told. A big estate, lots of privilege and a great group of friends to boot. If you asked him, he might even tell you about the time he helped the Franzetti brothers cover his sisters in punch during the big family reunion. When the bombs fell, the family grew smaller. They held ceremonies, fights broke out as calls to action came from all over and the Family divided even more. Slowly, Donnie's life fell apart and he grew into a man, trusting no one but his mother and father, and learning in his own time that to play the second banana and stay out of the limelight wasn't nearly as bad as people say it is.

He doesn't talk about his parents passing much, but he'll tell you that ever since his uncle took over the Family's business, its all gone to shit. That is why he left, you know. Left for the Big Apple, for New York, to see if he could make something of himself. A name, a home. Maybe even a new family.

Atlas [+]

Name: Atlas

Weapons: Teeth. Claws. Standard dog stuff.

• Helluva nose.
• Great hearing.
• Quick like a... really quick dog.
• Quick to learn.

Any unusual traits? Does it show physically?:
Atlas is smarter than your average pooch. Smarter than most pooches for that matter. Atlas is smart enough to bark along to 'Sweet Home Alabama', get you a beer and fetch the newspaper, all in time to lay down at your feet and watch the bandits try to traverse the minefield and death traps you set up earlier. He possesses a bulge in his throat, like an adam's apple, that allows him to make some rather outlandish noises.

Appearance:
Atlas is a Doberman Pinscher like any other really. He stands at around 2'4" at the shoulder. He wears a green leather collar bearing a nametag that says 'Atlas' on it.


Brief Personality:
Atlas is a cautious dog. He's not exactly one to run to the nearest human contact he can find in hopes of receiving love and gratification. He's a cluey pup, and he knows that people are prone to violence. He will stick to the shadows as he feels necessary, scavenging and taking as he can to survive. He does not get along well with other dogs. He does not know why.

Background:
Atlas was once a pack dog. He was born into, and came from a pack of dogs that has been roaming the wastes for generations, fending for itself and picking at the bones of the world left behind by the creatures that once cared for them and accompanied them. He grew up with the firm belief that he was a dog just like all of his siblings and cousins, a simple canine trying to eek out a living in this new world that had been lumped to all who still fought to survive. While he was not a dog that was well liked by other dogs, he enjoyed what time he spent with his kind. Over the course of his short life, he had been free, and he had been captured, made to fight for entertainment and sport. When he and his siblings demonstrated abilities uncharacteristic of their species, they were culled, so as to not pollute the blood of the sporting dogs. All except for Atlas himself, the smartest of the lot, who had heard the cries of the others and played possum, escaping into the night shortly after. Now he wanders the wastes of New York alone, eating and marking and hunting. And learning.

Weapons (Don't go crazy): 1 katana of utmost sharpness

Skills: Natural born Sword skills, Survival skills, Simple first aid knowledge, trained instincts.
Any unusual traits? Does it show physically?: Though he is unaware of it, he has some mutations:
-He can jump of a 2 or 3 floor high building and land on his feet like a cat ,. However he has to mentally band consciously prepare himself before doing so or risk making the wrong move and landing really badly.
-He has naturally : high speed and agility,. It is at a normal level of someone who has trained for a year and he won't have to train to keep it up.
-Wounds will stop bleeding in 5 minutes, though some wounds are an exception to this.
While this prevents him from bleeding out, this power has various downsides, such as:
--if the bleeding stops when something is still sticking into his body, that wound will not close normally, some wounds won't even stop bleeding at all (it all depends on the item that has been used to stab him).
--Dirt that gets in the wound, if its not washed out before the bleeding stops, then an infection will start growing.
--if his body gets pierced but gets the chance to stop bleeding without the wound, you can expect the wound to heal with the hole still intact, which will have all manner of medical problems.
--while not that much of a downside, larger wounds will have a much higher risk of scarring.
--smaller wounds like paper cuts and scrapes will heal slower in exchange.
-Increased eye sight which works solely as:
--His eyes can adjust to darkness somewhat better then normal
--He can see into light a little better without pain to his eyes, though this wont have much use in an apocalyptic world unless someone finds a working car with to bright lights.
--He can see slightly further then normal, mainly useful for reading a sign in the distance,. People can see the sign and see the letters but are just too far to read it, but he can barely read it.
--See fast-moving stuff a little better, its to a normal level of someone who has trained for a year.
-Finally, he has a natural resistance to some small stuff as poisons (really weak resist, he still gets sick and all, but heals a little faster or has a small increase of survival of fatal ones) and to some dangerous habitats, such as large radioactive fields where most cant walk or an electric field (like in a power generator, electrical charges going from fence to fence) (though he can move though such a field for a limited time, his body will still get effected negatively, such as the next day he will sub come to radiation poisoning or be electrically paralyzed for a few days)
(I dont see many of such situations appearing my self and he has no idea about this so wont risk it, also this one has the downside that it wont count for all possible fields, meaning that while he can move though those two examples, he may fail to move though an electric field which is caused by magnetic energy instead of pure electric, so this power has a huge risk to it as well)

Appearance: He has black hair (long in a large ponytail though he also has two small points for bangs), yellow eyes, 1.80M, 80K <--- I'm confused by this. athletic build, and a large scar across his entire back. Also, in the beginning, he will have fresh blade wound across his right cheek (diagonally) that will become a new scar.

Brief Personality: He is seemingly closed off and emotionless, he has no idea that he has mutant powers and thinks he is normal and that everyone can do such small feets.

Background: Blade has been living in a closed off park which is an area closed off to keep it as a natural preserve. For the last 2 years, he has a complete memory loss of his life when he was between the ages of 11 and 16. I n this time, he has apparently learned to handle the sword and received a scar on his back.
He realized that something in this time stuff have happened. He has instinctual memory of sword skills and the scar. He also has had a complete personality change.
He used to be open and friendly with a positive attitude all the time. He even had a little female friend when he was young.
He knew it was weird to remember how to use the sword and have a personality change. as that he only is missing 5 years of his live but having all his memories from before that time...

Other: His mutation is still developing but all possible changes will be cosmetic only.

@Penguinand@SepticGentleman, I'll make it a 22 rife, it is light and has no kick. Also penguin, he is supposed to be a frakking violent kid, he likes to burn stuff and shoot people who annoy him. Maybe being raised in the woods isn't as nice as Tarazan makes it seem... :P

will have to check, I guess some traits could be just as easy to be more trained, just took the easy way and give him trained effects while having him not train XD

there, now he has to keep up training for his physique and for his eyes, they have been skimmed down from earlier to what is really trainable (the "light sight" for example is gone as I dont see that as something you can train in real live)
I know people have been training to in darkness a little faster, or to follow some fast movements with their eyes (though seeing is not enough to act if you dont guess the next attack correctly) and trying to read and see slightly further then most people who dont train this
