ScienMalefica Someone who's not on on the weekends

"Everyone, this psychopath is obviously looking for some sort of game, but it's just going to be for his own amusement, that's what creeps like this guy does. So how do we win? Sit down, give up and don't agree to play his game, knowing psychopaths he'll then encourage us with something that has a chance of escape, what we want. Until he offers something like that, there's no point flailing around like the stupid worms you are all making yourselves seem to be," Daniel smirked, patting his butterfly knife. Daniel figured the fact that he fragrantly disregarded what the psychopath was trying to do would show at least that he's not on the same side as him, if he suspected anyone it would be that Arc kid, acting like some savant and the only other person who seemed to have a knife on them.

"I'm not going to try to convince any of you to do anything like Arc has. If you think it's a good idea and he has a point, then by all means proceed. But anyone who thinks giving a probably sadistic psychopath what he wants isn't the smartest idea, sit down. I'm not necessarily saying Arc's trying to get us to play into the kidnapper's hands deliberately, it's a possibility but frankly it doesn't matter, stupidity does as much damage as maliciousness," he continued, trying to regain a sense of rationality in the room. Just because people are kidnapped doesn't mean that they can let their mind go to waste he thought bitterly, sitting in a corner and reading the book he conveniently had with him.

He has a point... Hotaro mumbled to himself. Even thought that sounded a bit aggressive, he's somewhat right. He continued and started to move around the white room. He began moving in circles around the walls until he noticed the one who talked earlier (Daniel).

He decides to walk a little bit farther and sit down with his back against the wall. He observed the man and noticed that he doesn't seem to be human. Looks like some kind of elf or sorts... He thought.

Hotaro thought of something to say and asked Daniel, "How do we suppose to get out then? If we don't follow the said psychopath, he or she'll either starve us up or just end us right then and now."

"It's probably smart not to trust anyone, actually. But I'd rather deal with the known crisis first if possible." Sonja mumbled half to himself as he continued checking the wall he was near. He wasn't finding very much at the moment, but it was still something to do. And even though one of the others in the room mentioned how it was playing into the kidnapper's hands, he really couldn't think of a better way to spend his time at the moment. Even without the prompting, he would have ended up looking around like this for a way out, anyway.

"How do we suppose to get out then? If we don't follow the said psychopath, he or she'll either starve us up or just end us right then and now."

There was also that. If they were stuck in a single room completely under a psychopath's control to begin with, there was probably very little they could do that wouldn't somehow end up playing into their strange game. They'd find some way to make them do their bidding, otherwise. At least searching might reveal something more in their prison that they could work with.

It was that kind of a thought that kept him calm for the moment, anyway.

"Hm? Is this...no, not quite. Maybe...ah, this part sounds hollow. But is there a way in...?"

Ami woke up, looking around her. She could hear faint arguing, she could see people in the distance, but the room itself was empty. Ami stood up, and picked up the object laying at her side. It was tall, wooden, resembling a staff. There were tendrils of red, curling around it. Ami stood, unsure of wether or not to talk to these people.

Arc walked over to Sonja, she pushed the wall slightly and it swung open slightly. There were shadows hiding the contents from views, the room was dark. There was a very faint smell of iron. Arc hesitantly stepped slowly inside. It was slim, and long. It looked like a hallway. But, it was a dead end, nothing, just more white. Why? Why hand they found a hallway, devoid of anything but the fan smell of iron and the dreaded white color that surrounded them?

Leo smiled at the girl he had tried to help earlier. "It's fine, I understand being suspicious when you wake up somewhere unknown." He then turned towards the guy who had begun reading a book. "I don't think doing nothing is great. Like that guy said, this bastard could probably kill us all off. If he could do this to us then he could easily get more innocent people.

Leo was about to start looking around for a room himself until he noticed someone else already found one. He hung back a little, watching the young girl who entered it. He decided it was best to check his pockets for anything. He pulled out a strange, black amulet with a red gem in the center. Just holding it he could tell it was strange so he just stared at it.

Laura-May glared at the boy, that to her, seemed like a huge smart-ass. "Hey buddy, just so we're clear, not everyone needs a small knife to hurt someone." She turned back around, walking towards the hall."There's probably more areas attached to the hall. As a blank hall doesn't make much sense." Laura-May walked down into the hallway, and began to push on the hall walls slowly.

Ami walked over to a boy holding a stone. There was something off about that stone. Something that made it different.
"Whats that?" she asked him.

@SaraiRayne
"Theres a faint smell of blood." Arc told Laura-May. She appreciated her help, but none of the walls seemed to be anything but walls. Then it dawned on her. The smell of blood, the long hallway. A hallway that would take more than one person to fully check for doors. And the smell of blood. It was a trap.
"Get.Out. Now. Hurry, " Arc told Laura-May, surprisingly calm, pointing at the door.

Leo jumped slightly, he had not seen this girl before so she slightly startled him. "Uh... this? To be honest I don't know. It just feels... strange. Why do you ask?

When Arc opened the door, Sonja looked inside a bit cautiously, only to stop at the scent. It smelled like...blood? "I have a bad feeling about this..." Stepping inside gingerly as well, he went to follow Laura-May, but looked around with some apprehension rather than examining the walls. "Hey, I think it would be better if we had some light in here before just walking through. Does anyone have..." His voice cracked a bit as he noticed the sudden dryness of his throat. Coughing a bit, he put a hand to the area and turned to the smaller girl as she told them that it was a trap. "Let's go...*hack*...before it..." He placed a hand on the wall nearest to him as a slight dizziness began to bother him as well. Was he dehydrated or something? "Come...on...hurry."

"I don't know. It just feels odd. I don't know. I'm Ami, by the way," Ami introduced herself. The stone had caught her attention and she didn't even know why it had.

@YamiCuoreLaroux@SaraiRayne
The walls made a faint clicking and grinding sound. Maybe that of gears and moving parts. Arc's mind ranked civilians first. And Sonja seemed to be having a problem. They needed to get out, and fast. Arc could already see the deadly sheen of a gun barrel at the end of the hallway, and sounds got louder as more barrels began to protrude from the wall. The door began to close. This room was designed as a death trap. But if they hurried they could get out. Arc began to shove at Laura-May and Sonja. She quickly reached into her pocket and pulled out her knife again. She slid it along the floor. It stopped just where arc wanted it too. Right in the closing gap of the door. It would jam the doors if they couldn't quite make it. But they were going to do it.

Hearing some sort of mechanical movement somewhere down the hall brought Sonja out of his dizzy spell for a second just in time to see the barrels slowly poking out of the wall. Eyes widened, he turned again and almost shouted when he saw the door starting to close when Arc shoved him back into connecting the dots and the adrenaline kicked in.

Swiftly lifting the smaller girl and carrying her under one arm, he made a dash for the door, grateful that she had somehow thought to buy them some time with that knife. "Nope, nope, nope, nope, NOPE, NOPENOPENOPENOPE!" Even though he was moving more quickly than he thought he probably would have in any other situation, the distance seemed way too painfully long until he was already almost there and diving for the exit. "Scheisse! Get down and away!"

"Huh?" Hotaro said when he noticed the wall was closing in and thought of helping when he realized they were able to escape just in time, he sighed in relief and decides to resume his sitting. He mumbled without noticing he said it a little bit loud, "That's a dead end, huh? There must be another one that the one kidnapped us mentioned, maybe all of this walls are hollow and maybe three of them are traps or dead ends..."

Laura may was confused, until it hit her. Her aforementioned headache came pounding against her head once more, but this was worse then the usual. For a moment she could only see the other's mouth moving, but couldn't hear them. "Wh-What? I can't hear you." A moment later she got it. She had to get out. She scrambled for the others, starting to feel lightheaded.
