How this will work / how it differs from many other Persona RP



Rules
-No God modding (duh)
-Posts expected at least every other day unless reason given
-Fighting will be post by post, success and fail will be up to you on your part, how good a foe does will be chance on our part
-Be respectful of other's characters
-If you have a question, ask a question. Its in the rules even.
-Keep character conflicts, in character. OoC conflict? Probably getting kicked out and replaced, don't need that junk.
-Have a problem? Send a Pm, lets work it out before ^
-Have Fun.

I don't except walls of text for posts, and I know sometimes you just get a few lines out, but generally lets have a paragraph or so, unless you are conversing with another character.

Here's my CS

Human

Name: Ethan Cook
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Weapon/s: None

Bio: For the most part, Ethan had a normal life growing up. His parents had a stable relationships, he had above average grades, and he never got into trouble. However there was one part of his life that was unusual; his skill with firearms. Since his dad used to be in the military, it wasn't odd that he was exposed to guns at a young age. Before his dad would so much as let him look at a gun, he needed to prove that he wasn't going to kill someone accidentally with it. So his dad ended up taking him out to paintball at a tender young age.

Ethan quickly demonstrated his natural talent with ranged weaponry, and when he was 12, his dad finally took him to a firing range to work with real guns. Ethan was excited to be working with the real thing at last. While it took some time for him to adjust to the loud noises typically found on a firing range (even with the sound muffling earmuffs), His enthusiasm saw him through with little trouble. However things wouldn't stay this way forever...

On the night of Ethan's thirteenth birthday, his family went to see a move; it was a new Zorro movie (and a good one, not like that crappy squeal The Legend of Zorro). Because the theater wasn't far from home, they had decided to walk both to get some exercise, and save on gas money. However on their way back home, they were attacked by a mugger with a gun. Ethan's father was able to close the distance between them before the mugger could shoot him, but not before Ethan's mom was shot. Had he been in his prime, Ethan's dad would have had no problem taking the mugger out. However he had been discharged from the military due to wounds received in the line of duty, so he wasn't working at 100%. During the fight between the mugger and his dad, the mugger dropped the gun and it slid over to a terrified Ethan. Realizing he had lost his weapon, the mugger pulled out a knife and stabbed his dad in the leg, causing him to fall down in pain. Before the mugger could finish him off, he was shot in the chest. Surprised, Ethan's dad looked over to see his crying son shakily holding a smoking gun in his hands

While they were able to get Ethan's mom to a hospital in time to save her, the mugger didn't survive, as Ethan had shot him in the heart reflexively. That day changed poor Ethan; he wasn't able to look at a gun again without flashing back to the face of that man as he killed him. Even though he did it in defense of himself and others, Ethan still lives with the guilt of having taken a life

Bio:
Gwen life was easy at first since her parents were rich and she was spoiled by them. She was always loved but her parent’s relationship was always rocky since they married young and their love was starting to die. The two were good at hiding it from Gwen. But as Gwen got older it was harder for them to hide their contempt for each other. It was bad when she started school where her parents argued the first thing in the morning and Gwen always ended up late for classes. Her parents made her pick sides, and if she did it made the arguments worse, so she often hideaway in her room so she can get away from it all, and she has become meek and quiet. When she started school she made some friends but they never visited her house since Gwen didn't want anybody see her home life. She was never popular but she was never bullied she had a rather uneventful school life and her grades were decent but not the best either.

When she started middle school her parents finally decided to divorce each other which was extremely messy. So much so that during the custody dispute she needed a advocacy attorney, who her parents hated and often tried to get fired, they were never fired but Gwen started to hold contempt over her parents bitterness. It was a long and brutal custody battle but it was decided that she would live with her father and can visit her mother whenever she wants. Gwen was trying her best not to end up bitter like her parents and to always be happy even if she could barely speak to anybody.

Her high school years was uneventful though her grades improved since she started to go to in time and without loud arguments keeping her up at night or ruining her mood. And she made friends in high school since she didn't make many friends during middle school due to all the court meetings she had to go to. She has decided she will graduate from high school and leave home as soon as she can.

Card, I mentioned that the physical abilities wont be counted as spells.
Katakon, Originally I was going to just go with Persona spells, but it does make sense to add more, so we will use all of the shin megami tensei spells, aside from the physical ones.

Appearance:


Sporting a pony tail, his long brown hair is slightly wavy, with a few strands hanging down the front. He is usually wearing a hoodie, and long shorts. Even on hot days he wears his hoodie, but then just around his waist. Rarely does he wear a proper pair of trousers.

Bio: Conner is the first of three boys born into his family, and, much to his Father's dismay, he chose to not follow the family tradition and take over the museum which had been in his family for generations. Choosing instead to pursue the arts, Conner's Mother approved, and was drastically impressed when she saw the paintings he made, listened to his music, or saw his writing. He truly seemed like a prodigy! That being said, Conner did have strange ways of being inspired, which often would find him in dangerous, or just plain stupid situations. He could never read people well, and never really understood when we was about to get himself in too deep. Often trudging off in the middle of the night, into dark alleys, or hanging off of bridges with by his legs till the blood rushed to his head and he would fall into the canal.

His misadventures were at their worst in his youth, and he slowly started to ween away from the more dangerous forms of "inspiration" Sadly though, it did take another course. He witnessed many bullies in his teens, not aimed at him, and if you'd ask him, he would never be sure who they were picking on in the first place or why, but Conner became the type of child to step in, and protect others. Not for the sake of protecting the weak, or some great honourable cause, but for the inspiration. It let him think of what it felt like to be a hero, to be a hero and fail miserably, to be the one being praised, to be the one getting kicked in the nads for misunderstanding the dispute, all these lessons helped him to better portray his characters in writing, raw emotion in music, and everything in his drawings.

With all of his art and passion, Conner isn't stupid though, he does think logically at times, realizing the importance of his education, and spending time with people he cares about, or more correctly, people who can put up with his shenanigans.

Appearance: Tall with moderate sized shoulders. Berwyn has a face of sharp features. His eyes are a crisp blue and his hair short and swept to one side. He often wears an old brown-knit hat his grandfather used to wear a scarf that seems to change colour everyday. He is usually seen wearing a grey long-sleeved T-shirt and brown carharts. Sometimes when the weather is unagreeable Berwyn will wear a dark brown, almost black leather jacket. Finally, for footwear he likes to walk around in nothing more than his pair of old leather boots. Sturdy. Comfy. Perfect.

Bio: Berwyn came from a rather modest upbringing. His mother ran off with another man and his father just stopped coming home leaving him and his little sister to fend for themselves. Often, instead of going to school, Berwyn would find himself in rough parts of town but not for reasons of drugs or violence, no, here he would gather information on whoever and whatever he could because you see, Berwyn was an information broker. He would sell his knowledge for more knowledge and it would go on like that all day until he had enough money to buy food for his sister and himself to eat that day. Berwyn dropped out of school years ago so that his sister might still have a chance. He never really needed to go anyways because he was stupidly smart already and had the aptitude to learn just about anything, be it equations or how to operate machinery, all he had to do was look at it. Whenever Berwyn got himself in too deep all he had to get him back out again were his own two hands. After a few years he got really good at fighting in the streets and by using a mixture of just about every martial art you could think of he kind of ended up making his own. There is no one in this world that he cares for more than his little sister. She's everything to him as she's the only family he's got left. Some how she even convinced him to enroll in the same school as her this year. Through the application process Berwyn was required to take a small test to see if he was qualified to be going to college after not having gone to school in a few years and, just as his little sister thought, Berwyn passed with flying colours and she couldn't be happier. He now has the chance to make new friends and work for something greater than the streets of Eigo but old habits die hard.

Card, you don't really need to wait for anyone to post as you haven't interacted with anyone yet. Yes, I get that we've established an order of posting but it's important to keep the RP moving. Unless you are waiting for someone to post because you've interacted with them, don't worry too much about order and just post. :)

Well, Katakon is not responding to pm's either, and it sort of does show when we are last online, so I will give them another day to respond, before we take over said character and just move along. We are due for a faster pace.

the other guys dropped out, we will just carry on as us, and hopefully more people will show interest as it goes on. It is also easier in a persona series to start small and add in more on the way.
