Whew, man you are pretty picky when it comes to move types! Ok, I think I managed to finally fix the problem. However, I hope you do accept that Rolling Kick is a level 9 move and Jump Kick being a level 13 move.

Uh... well, that depends, is Kick planning to join an existing team, or is he planning on starting a team?

Well, he will follow the strongest person he has met. I'm assuming that there are some player characters that are much stronger than him. If he can't find anyone to beat him, then he will create his own team.

If he's THAT strong, and we're supposedly stronger, then the following pokemon should evolve...
M
Spruce (though, there's a situation with that)
Anthony
Tini
and, Josh

Name: Bob. It was simple to remember, and it's a nice syllable.

Species: WURMPLE

Gender: Male

Moves: String Shot - Poison Sting - Tackle

Bio: Bob the Wurmple is a wild Wurmple, interestingly enough; he was born and abandoned in the Birch Forest, where he and his egg-mates tried to survive the harsh (to them) world of the wild. Wurmple being easy prey to the myriad predators of Birch Forest, Bob (unnamed at the time) was one of only two surviving members of the brood - the other became a Cascoon and was promptly forgotten about. In his early weeks, Bob learned how to gather berries and hide from monsters - or, when he couldn't, he learned to use his string shot in order to slow them down enough for him to run. He learned to tempt predators with other foodstuffs - corpses or berries - so that he could sneak around them.

Less than a year ago, after finding a beautiful, alluring stone on a corpse, Bob saw a small adventuring party. A plant-type and a fire type, neither of whom were of species he recognized. They were clearly outsiders, and though instinct told him that they should have been predator and prey, they were equals. Bob was fascinated, amazed that instinct could be subverted such that two completely different beings could co-operate and survive in tandem. Ever since, he's had a sort of obsession with watching - sometimes even trying to communicate with - other outsiders, though he doesn't quite have a grasp on their language yet.

Now, this curious, somewhat intelligent wild Wurmple has decided to do something he's never done before - he's going to go to wherever these people come from. Perhaps he'll partake in whatever magic allows predator and prey alike to become equals. Maybe he'll finally find a purpose, like the many outsiders seem to have when they venture into his 'home'.

Appearance: Bob wears an everstone. String holds it around his neck.
That's it.

Differences: Despite being weak, slow and generally just terrible at normal battle, Bob the Wurmple excels in thinking of creative solutions to his problems, and prides himself in his ability to use string shot for purposes that are not at all intended. He's trying to make his string shot strong enough such that he can hold on to it and swing with it like an Aipom swings on vines, mostly by experimenting with various berries and other consumables.
Also of note is that Bob fears evolution. He's seen it happen, and he doesn't know what that thing that comes out of it is, only that it isn't the original. He doesn't know that the Everstone has protected him from the mighty beast that is Evolution, but if he did he'd hold on to it all the tighter.

Assuming I'm accepted (am I supposed to be accepted, or is this more a jump in thing? Because if it's the latter, you probably need to change the tag), it looks like I am.
Is there a hub of information, a summary of some sort on the story thus far, or should I read through the entire thing?
Not that I'm completely opposed to reading the IC, but reading it all on one thread is sure to be confusing as all hell, especially considering that it's a large group and there are various different groups of Pokemon having their own adventures, presumably.

Um... Anlu's not in charge around here. I should have gotten Kabling on this one, it seems a little off, honestly. I'm sorry for how long it took, but this should be resolved, soon.

Also, wild pokemon are sapient, just generally crazy, so... that's something to keep in mind. Whether or not they can still speak varies, however.

App is fine (though somewhat plain), the issue is that we've gotten rid of levels; there shouldn't be a section on a level.

@Lugia
I know. Dun worry. That's why I started with 'assuming I'm accepted'.
@KaBling
Edited out the level, added in a little note on his ability to speak.
What exactly did you mean by 'a little plain'? If you're talking History-wise, my justification is that Bob's arc (that's how I like to think of my plans for each character) is how he explores sapient-pokemon culture and of co-operation. Starting with a tragic backstory or otherwise an extremely complex backstory would really make it harder to focus on his arc.

What I mean is that it makes your character more recognisable. I won't justify this though, and your app was already fine anyway.

So, you're accepted.

@KaBling
Alright!
... So my prior question still stands. Can I have a mini-summary of the story thus far, or should I just post and hope someone plays along or what?
Also, I've noticed that the convention is to use first person. Should I be consistent with that, or can I use third person?

It's tradition.

We're all too lazy to make a summary (much to my own annoyance), and it doesn't matter the perspective of your posts.

Name: Cobalt

Species: Beldum

Gender: -

Moves: Take Down, Metal Claw, Bullet Punch, Confusion

Bio: When Cobalt first emerged from his egg, he quickly learned a harsh truth of the world. Death doesn't care how much money you have, if you have a family, or how strong you are. Death comes for all. He looked at the corpses of his parents and he wept. He found a note from his parents stating a great many things. However he couldn't read so he simply left it alone. He lived in his cave alone and learned to care for himself very quickly.

After that Cobalt lived a fairly average life. He got up, ate his normal breakfast of berries, went and hunted for more, and then went back to sleep. That changed when he stumbled across the gold. He had no idea what to do with it as he had lived by himself in isolation and all he knew was that these rocks were very shiny. There was also a lot of the rocks as well. So he decided to begin taking them home.

It took him two weeks to bring all of the gold to his cave and when he was done he was significantly stronger. He became enamored by their shinyness and he began searching for more. He was obsessed with these shiny rocks and he needed more. He began to sleep less, he forgot to eat sometimes, the ever growing need to get these shiny rocks became consuming.

One day he was on his hunt for gold when he stumbled into the Crystal Chasm Mystery Dungeon. He became lost for a entire week. Even then though he continued to hunt for gold. He found none so he instead grabbed the next shiny thing he could find which was crystals. He found berries and Gummies to live off of until he could find his way out. He was slowly going feral as he continued to hoard crystals. He slowly began to give up on ever escaping as he found more and more crystals. He was attacked by a group of Sableeye as he grew tired and hungry near the end of the week. They had been angered by his theft of crystals and wanted them back. He was saved at the last minute by another rescue team which had been searching for a client. They defeated the Sableye and took him to the guild with them. They grew tired of calling him kid so they eventually took to calling him Cobalt because of his blue eye. He learned to communicate with them after a few months but when asked where he lived he never answered. He had forgotten where he stashed all of his gold. And the final dying words of his parents which he could now read.

Appearance: Cobalt has a blue eye instead of red eyes.

Differences: He has three moves that he shouldn't have learned yet due to his intense physical training. He is also more intelligent then he should he due to his diet of Gummies while he was stuck in the Crystal Chasm.
