Lola awoken from her sleep, and she put on more appreciated clothes, she departed from her apartment with her purse and items she needed.
She got on her scooter and she went to the party, in annoyance she went to Adam and Adelisa's house. In deep annoyance she muttered in a barely audio-heard voice to herself. She knocked on the door, while she waited. She sat on the porch and she took out her phone and started to play games on her phone.

Luke looked at Alice, this could be his chance. Luke sighed, like that'll ever happen. He looked at the time, he also had to go home, to nothingness, but it was better than this. He looked at Alice, realizing he could take her home.."I could take you home Alice, i think it's on my way home anyways." Luke took out a pair of car keys, the insignia was that of a Chrysler Sebring. One of the best models of the Chrysler.

Luke stood up and stretched. He looked at Adam, and sighed. Nothing goes the way you want it huh? I guess fate is cruel, Second time I realize that in my entire life.

Adam looked at Alice with a small smile. He then turned to Luke and sighed. He was really into her and Adam wasn't one to hurt people. Adelisa noticed this and gritted her teeth, turning her attention to Luke again. She had wanted Adam and Alice to get together for so long, but now Luke just all of a sudden having feelings for the girl? It wasn't like they first met! Well, Adelisa knew she had to do something. She heard a knock at the door and she stormed past Luke.

She opened it and said to Lola "you were just here. You can't just walk in and out of the place, ya know." She smirked jokingly. Adam walked over to Alice and said "thank you for your input by the way. Adelisa really needed it. Her first performance in front of friends and all that." Adam looked at Luke and said "are you okay enough to drive? You were just burning up and I don't want you getting into a car accident." He was very concerned for his friend and yet very oblivious.

"Oi Oi Adam, who do you take me for, Of course I can drive, besides, forget about the part of me burning up, I'm fine now, just had to think some things and realize some things, you could call it my own "Human Evolution" or something like that.. Haha...... Besides it's getting pretty late anyways" Luke sighed. He then yawned, he was pretty tired and even more, there was a long night ahead of him.

Luke began to spin the car keys in his finger while he was in front of a window looking outside of it. He was getting a bit sluggish. Once he got home, he would take a bath and go to sleep. At least that was his plan anyways.

Jess could be so serious. Alex thought as she realized that the joke went straight over her friends head. "It's okay, it's okay." she grinned, nodding her thanks as she carefully took Jess's sketchbook, leafing through it as she listened to her friend. Grinning excessively when Jess mentioned Rex again. "Alright I'll hold onto mine, and you hold onto yours." she grudgingly admitted, handing Jess her necklace and book back, while tucking her own into a pocket.

Alice sighed in relief. "Thanks, Luke, you're a lifesaver," she said to him, giving him a smile.

To Adelisa and Adam she said, "You guys deserved our high praises, so no need to thank me," She blushed a little at Adam's kindness though.

She gave Adelisa one more hug goodbye and looked at Adam one last time. She debated whether to hug him or not, but decided against it. That would be weird, wouldn't it? "See you guys at the party!" she called out as she left the barn.

She walked over to Luke's Chrysler Sebring and waited for him to unlock the door. "So, I live on Newman St. Do you know how to get there?" she asked, ready to offer directions if he didn't know.

She had just left, but she was already thinking about Adam again and the party. Lorelei was right that she needed something cute to wear. She didn't own anything cute though and the only dress she had was the one she wears all the time at her family reunions when she is expected to dress "more formally". There was also the question of any of it mattered. She forgot to check Adam's necklace to see if it matched her own. What if they weren't matched up? The thought of that alone was heartbreaking.

Luke looked at Alice and shook his head. "No problem." Luke began to make his way to the car, an waved at Adam and Adelisa, goodbye.
Once Luke got near the car, he pushed a button on the electronic lock, making the car unlock all of the doors. He then hurried to Alice's side of the car where she was going to seat. "My Parents always used to say, Always open the door for a lady, no matter who she is.." Luke reached for the door and opened it for Alice. It was the obvious thing to do anyways, not because he liked her, but because it was correct.

Luke felt his phone vibrate. He grabbed it and flipped it open. It appeared he had one event coming up, and it was on the same day of the Birthday party. It was Kendo nationals. Crap! I completely forgot about that..... Luke then closed his phone and turned it off, and put it away.

Alice was staring off into space, but Luke's voice brought her back to earth. "O-oh... thank you," she said, hoping that he didn't notice. She got into the car and took a seat. It was neat and tidy inside, as expected of Luke. She put on her seat belt, and waited for Luke to get in the car as well. Alice was a bit amused by the situation. She never had been alone with him before, and she wasn't even sure if they could be considered friends yet. Maybe they had a class together once... But she still didn't know what to say to him. She tried anyways. "S-so... you... looking forward to the party?"

Luke nodded and stepped into the car. He turned the ignition, and turned on the air conditioner. He then proceeded to turn on the radio on a low volume. He looked at Alice, she was asking about the party. Luke sighed. The party.

"I, g- guess I am, I mean, I don't really look forward to stuff, What I mean by that. I that I'm not the kind of guy who talks about the things to come or something of the sort, So you could say I am looking forward to it, and I'm not, What about you?" Luke said as he began backing the car up, and setting it on Cruise mode, and began to drive on the road.

Alice chuckled lightly. "You're a funny guy, Luke. You really say what's on your mind, huh?" she said. "I'm actually really excited. All of our friends are going to be there and it'll be a lot of fun."

She stared out the window as Luke continued to drive. She could hear the radio, even though the volume was super low. She tapped along to the beat of the song on the car door and hummed as well. She used to think that Luke was a bit scary, but it turns out he's not that bad after all. Then again, he was Adam's friend and that had to mean something.

"Did you get anything for them as a birthday present?" she asked, trying to keep the conversation alive after she realized she was humming and not talking.

Luke looked at Alice for just a split second. "I guess you could say that, but I do keep somethings to myself anyways."

Luke listened to Alice's humming. It was pretty, the way she hummed. Luke let out a chuckle, a dry one.

"A Present.....Ya know, I haven't really thought about it, I'm not good with that kind of stuff, Buying presents and such, I've never bought any for anybody"

Jess reached her arm across the table and gently grabbed her necklace out of Ryan's hand. "Oww! I didn't think my hand would still hurt, and it scratched me again!. I hate this thing!Jess growled at the pendant as her arm flinched when the necklace landed in the palm of her hand. She then tried to jam it into her jacket pocket grumbling and cursing the wretched piece of jewelry as she struggled to get the necklace in her pocket without scratching herself for the third time.Forget it! I'll just wear the thing!She then put the necklace on with little trouble.So what did you think of the drawings?

"Oh, I see," Alice replied awkwardly. She probably touched a subject she shouldn't have. "W-well I got Adam something, but I'm not sure if he would like it... Can I have your opinion on it?" she asked, pulling out the bag she got with Adam's gift inside.

She opened the bag and revealed a black wristband with a design on it. "If you think it's lame, I understand. I'll just return it and buy something else tomorrow..." she added softly.

Lorelei sighed and shook her head. "Not the only reason." She whispered. "Blake is like my sister and I saw everything you two went through. Look.. I know you're not here for me. I'm sorry I'm not her. Gosh I wish I could be her. Everyone loves her." She chuckled sadly, taking a long drink. She wiped off her bottom lip with her thumb and looked back up at him, her hazel eyes flashing like jewels on the light. "S-So... There you go."

Raleigh turned around and shrugged. "Yes, I am. Get use to it. You're going to be stuck with mw anyway." he grinned, sitting back next to her. " I guess he's not a party person. Oh well.. More for us."

Blake cleared her throat and took a sip of water to calm her throat. "It's fine Feon, just inhaled some water. Calm down it's ok." Blake said smiling. Although her thoughts were running wild due to Feon being Decker's soulmate. She was internally panicking trying to decide if she should text Caden and Lorelei with the news. As she internally battled she heard Raleigh speak and turned to look at him. "Oh yay. Stuck with you, how fun." She said in a joking sarcastic way with a teasing smile.

"Aw. Dont be like that." He smirked, squeezing her. "you'll love it!" Raleigh said with a raising his eyebrow and flashing a smile. He felt so confident around her. The boy had wanted this for so long, but should he trust the necklace?

Blake just shook her head smiling. Her thoughts similar to Raleigh's... should she trust the necklace? While sitting there Blake decided to send a text to Lorelei and Caden, I found the girl who has a matching necklace to Decker. She's such a sweet, innocent thing. I feel bad for her. Should I tell Decker and/ or warn the girl or should I just not say anything right now?

Decker laughed. "Heh don't worry. I don't want you to be her. When I like a girl I like her for her." He looked at his watch. "Sorry to but things short but I'd better be going. You know the job and all. But for what it's worth, apart from my life and death situation, tonight was fantastic." He stood up. "I'll take you back to your place." He picked her up and put her on the bike. After a short ride in silence, he pull up outside her house, which seen to have been recently vandalised. He took her hand and got her off the bike. He went in for a kiss but whispered to her. "Good night m'dear." He kiss her on the forehead and sped off. He had noticed a bonfire and wanted to check out the send. He went back to his apartment, got changed into his uniform, and went to the source of the noise. Apparently, the station had been getting complaints about the noise. He casually walked in, not fearing the consequencens fingering his gun.

Lorelei leaned in and bit her lip when he whispered into her ear. She closed her eyes and weakly smiled. "Goodnight Decker." She said, before turning into the house. The spray paint on the aide of her house didn't phase her. Growing up with important parents , this wasn't new. She took off her jacket and went back outside. She had remembered there was a party at the beach and decided to head over there. There wasn't anything else to do. She got in her truck and headed to the beach. She quickly parked and got out, walking to Blake. "Blake! We need to talk." She said quietly, looking around.

Raleigh looked up at the new girl and smiled. "Wow, you have a lot of friends Blake." He nodded, rubbing her back.

Decker turned his head. Was that Lorelei. Oh heck she can't know he's here, the uniform was a giveaway. He hid in the crowd. "Blake? It's that Blake? It is! Who's the feller she's talking to?" He was suspicious. He was no longer here in business. This was a private matter. "Well, well, well, have we here." He muttered menacingly "As it seems Juilet has found herself a new Romeo. And that leaves, poor Duke Paris all alone." He chuckled. He made references daily. He was knocked over, and fell to the floor. His hat rolled away. He ran to get it but it landed at Blake's feet. He tried to descreetly pick it up and turn around. Pretend he was on business. Well actually he was, the station sent him here.
