The idea for teleportation was that he could warp to any unoccupied space within 50 feet of himself.

As for immortality, he's died before (5000 years ago) and come back as a mummy. The "resurrection" bit was more that if he's killed by conventional means- dismemberment, injury, gunshots, weapons, etc.- that he'd come back at sunset. He can still be permanently killed by destroying his body or sarcophagus (both closely guarded secrets) and can only resurrect once a week.

If you wanna keep Alliance maybe the use of an Acronym would be best then? I can't think of one myself but maybe something like..

By my understanding, there isn't really any difference between psychokinesis and telekinesis, so I'm good with calling it either. I've just always considered "psychokinesis" a slightly more linguistically precise term, so that's what I tend to default to. Just out of curiosity, though, what is the difference between them for you?

As far as name goes, I was thinking something along the lines of what Mr_pink was saying (my idea before I read to his post was "The League").

@Dethran: I've read before that psychokinesis is usually used as an umbrella term for numerous psychic abilities, like creating force-fields, healing, and others, while telekinesis is just moving objects with the mind. If that's all it is, I have no problem with it. I'll go ahead and add it to the list as telekinesis if that's okay with you. :D

I think that I'm just going to stick with the SAFE acronym. Most people would call it the Alliance for short anyway, so that would leave some form of ambiguity.

Sounds good to me! The term I've used for the catch-all before is psionics (or psionicism), so I've always treated tele- and psychokinesis fairly identically.
If it'd be ok, I may want to say that my character could eventually develop a broader array of applications (like force-fields, for example), but at the start of the game, his telekinesis would definitely be relatively basic (really just allowing him to move things around at a distance and independently of his own physical strength).

Also, I'm considering playing a character with some sort of congenital physical disorder (I was originally considering paraplegia, but then realized that that would make it way too easy to turn him into a Prof. X knockoff, so I'll probably go with something else, but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what). He will have mundane adjustments from before the manifestation of his telekinesis/ telepathy, but I'm figuring that, once his powers became apparent, he would begin to use those to minimize the impact of whatever disorder I decide for him, so I'm wondering if that increased need of use might end up strengthening the relevant power. I'll be keeping the idea either way, but I figured that it wouldn't hurt to know if I could use the character design to justify a slightly higher proficiency with his own power set.

I'm fine with power development, just don't go too far with it. ;)

And, considering there haven't been very many additional naming suggestions, I'm going to go ahead and use SAFE to start the OOC. :D
