Eerily silent and seemingly desolate, the Kindergarten continued to sit while barely withstanding the test of time. Thousands of years passing by since the beginning of its creation on Earth which was leading it to slowly crumble away and some parts even caving in. If an outsider that knew nothing of this place were to see it, they would think it a ghost town with its nutrient lacking soil forcing no plant life to form, almost constant fog, mysterious hole lined walls and the strange object still standing scattered like relics and maybe even a warning not to be trifled with. Weapon littered all over the place in different areas, buried and thrown about, slashes in the Earth still running deep and speaking clearly of the battles that might have happened here. They would think this canyon devoid of all life, probably finding it hard to believe otherwise but in fact it had been the birthplace to many lives and still was to some that have not even started yet. These Gems continue to sleep, deep within the rocky walls, waiting to form themselves and join into the world or even choosing to remain as they are until the right moment.

In the midst of the Kindergarten, one of these Gems laid dormant in the ground below instead of the canyon walls. It stayed there not because it wanted to or because it was not ready to come into creation but simply because it had no choice but to heal. It rested in the Earth, staying there since the day it had fallen into the cracked ground and healing from the damage of battle. Extremely luck for the fact it had only been the physical form so badly harmed and not the Gem itself. The blue tear shape stone glowed brightly, the first time being active in so long as it shined through the soil before gently lifting up as it began to sparkle. Energy flowed freely out of the Gem, swirling and moving till the base form of a body began to appear before it gently moved into an outline of detail. In a snap, the light was gone and a true physical being had taken its place as she slowly floated back down the the ground below.

The second her feet touched, Aquamarine's eyes slowly scanned the area and took it all the destruction and emptiness around her. Her feet slowly starting to move on their own as she moved through the Kindergarten, a hand pressed to her mouth as she continued in utter shock at what she was witnessing and tears threatened to form. She knew that there was no way the other teammates had made it or at least not many from what she could see. She could only hope that a few got away or had been lucky like herself. Aqua's eyes widened a fraction at that thought for what if they had been exactly like her? Buried below elsewhere in the Kindergarten or nearby which would make it possible to find them if she started a search. Keep them safe once she found them till they could reform as well or find a way to heal the ones that Gems were in need of it. That in mind, she began her careful search and started to wander the endless maze of the canyon known as the Kindergarten.

Created some unknown length of time ago, but for some reason never activated, a transparent gem shimmered from somewhere in the Kindergarten. The outline of a body formed around it, and White Spinel was born. She examined the area around her. She was neither sad nor lonely, because those were emotions she did not yet know. She saw nothing negative about this situation regardless, as the complete silence and apparent lack of any life made her feel peaceful. She sat and took her surroundings in, unsure of what to do. She wasn't even sure if there was anything to do, as her current situation was agreeable enough.

She Exited quietly, her feet making soft sounds as she strode into the heavy, foggy area in front of her. Her eyes scanned the area around her. Weapons strewn about, cuts and indentations all around her. It was obviously some sort of battlefield, but how long ago a battle took place she did not know.

There was so much that she didn't know. She didn't know who she was, why she was where she was, if any others were around, and many others. These questions bothered her. The desire to find the answered became more and more prevalent as time passed. There had to be someone that knew the story to her creation, if there was anybody around of course.

"Um..." She spoke for the first time. She jumped in shock, surprised by the sound of her own voice. It intrigued her, and the blue-skinner being began muttered things to herself about her findings in the area. She stopped soon after, now aggravated that there were no words she could find to describe her findings. With a sigh, she began collecting weapons and rocks, forming piles from type, and how much they interested her.

There was a slight rumbling in the earth before a small part of the ground cracked open, a brilliant amber glow seeping out of it. It wasn't even a moment later when a pair of large hands sprang forth from the opening and began to claw at the ground around them. Soon after a pair of arms joined the hands, fallowed by the rest of a upper body of an ambered colored young man. "Bloody hell it is cramped in there!" The oddly colored fellow exclaimed as he finished digging himself out of the ground, standing up to his full intimidating height. He then stretched his rather massive frame for a moment, spitting out a few clumps of dirt as he did so. "Hello? Is anyone out there?" He called out, his voice echoing through the barren valley. "Does anyone know where I am?" He called out next. His eyes slowly drifted down to his own body, examining it deeply. "Or who I am?" He half mumbled to himself.

Emerald awoke from...well....he really didn't know. He opened his eyes, a bit lazily, and they cast a pale green beam projecting all the way to the far wall of the Kindergarten. He wondered if he should go out of this....oddly shaped hole. Why not. His arm reached out, grabbing the edge of the hole, and he pulled himself out of the hole, glancing around. "What is this place?" He was a bit surprised that he could speak, but it felt.....natural. All this time the beams had been projecting around this canyon-like formation of lifeless rock. He was....tired. So tired....

Ugh.

Emerald fell over onto the dusty blackish ground with a loud thump and fell asleep.

Out of all the many holes on the rocky walls, Black Zircon emerged from one about seven feet above the ground. She drops down falling on her hands and knees, staring at her hands on the dirt ground almost blankly. She then turned her body while still on her knees to look at the hole she had just come out of. She had no idea why she came out of there, let alone who or what she is that had come out of there. Not to mention why. She slowly got up to her feet as she looked around this fog-covered canyon. Another thing she doesn't know. This place.

She brought her dirt-covered hands up and looked down at them, wondering even more of who or what she is. She awkwardly tried to wipe the dirt off her hands. As she finished she noticed the loose sleeves of her long jacket. She grabbed the left one with two fingers and examined it. It felt rather quite comfortable. It reached down and covered a little bit of her hands but it gives her hands a lot of free space to roam around in. Quite comfy. So comfy.

Zircon finally started walking around as she continued to look around a bit. She was walking slow, but her footsteps were somewhat heavy. Not extremely heavy, but like a little heavy with those dark brown boots of her's. She approached a big rock and sat on it. Now she just sat there, looking at the scenery as she waits for something to happen. If something will happen that is.

Mohs Town, the epitome of the saying, "in the middle of nowhere". Staying true to its name, it was a treasure trove for mining companies. Mohs Town's lake floors were littered this hundreds of Gems, so it was not surprising to see huge hydraulic pumps and giant buckets working on the lake. This made it hard for anyone to have a nice day at the lake, luckily they had 3. The town had three inland lakes in or at the edge of the town, which were Lake Obsidian, Lake Sapphire and Ruby Lake. Each is less than a mile from the other.

Alex sat on a bench over looking Ruby Lake, the only open one at the moment. Some companies were busy sullying the purity of the lakes that the city basically lived of of. The board walk was nothing compared to that of the oceans. It was small, the wooden pathway extended over the river back, and completing the T-shape was a dock. Alex sat were the dock and the boardwalk met. The bench was a simple wooden one, and was meant to seat 2. Despite that, Alex hogged up the whole thing, laying his body across its wooden planks. It's was 6am, which meant that the sun was just peaking over the horizon, making it the perfect place to sit to watch the sunrise.

Alex had about 5 hours to kill before Capoeira Practice, what better way to waste his time than to watch the sun rise. He brought his wrist up to his face to check the time. "6:04." Alex mumbled despondently. It was going to be a long summer.

Within a tiny cavern rested an even tinier gem, her scrawny frame huddled against a wall, elongated hands held over pointed ears. What was once a shocked expression was now replaced by one of irritation, her left eye twitching slightly and her scowl seeming to deepen by the moment. Man, things weren't usually this loud. First there was that rumbling, then that ungodly loud voice, and now that monstrous...sound which just seemed to echo from everywhere...

A gentle huff escaped her lips as curiosity got the better of her Evenkite, with some reluctance, peeked her head out from her haven, pressing her tip of her toes against the ground, as if she were testing out water. Seemingly satisfied, she set out to look for the sources of the noise, her own steps inaudible, though whether that was due to the other noises drowning it out or her tip-toeing was up to anyone's guess.

One of her searches didn't last too long. Not because of any skill or effort on her part, but simply because the source of voice wasn't exactly easy to miss. A bulky, enormous, orange figure -at least three times bigger than herself- stood with his back against her, seemingly having discovered the magical skill of using an indoor voice. With such a height and build, he could probably crush her in an instant.

Before decided whether or not to find the source of the other noise, approach this figure, or simply leave, the wind decided to make the decision for her. A gust which to most would be a mild inconvenience to most took her off guard and send her tumbling with a yelp, colliding against the left leg of the orange man.

The giant of a Gem had just managed to pull his attention away from examining his own body to notice the deep growl that was echoing through the valley. "Just my luck, I wake up to find myself in a hole in the ground and a monster waiting to eat me. This is just grand." He complained to himself as he scanned over the barren environment around him, finding little more than a few old discarded weapons among random rubble and rocks. With a slight grunt the amber skinned fellow was about to set off to explore more of the area, but before he could he felt a slight thud on the back of his leg. Turning his amber eyes to see what was it that hit him, the orange toned Gem found himself staring at... well he didn't know what that was. "Uh... Ello?" He said as he peered down at the small yellow skinned creature, having to crane his neck in quite an awkward angle just to get a good look at his leg's apparent assailant.

The loud snoring suddenly ceased, leaving only a few seconds of faint echoing to be heard. Emerald got up off the floor, dusting himself off quickly before wondering what that loud voice was that had woke him up. "What was that?" Emerald sleepily walked towards the loud voice, a smaller but just as bright beam coming from his half-opened eyes following the edge of the cave...until it was focusing right on the orange man. "Um................hello?"

Sodalite paused her activities. Several noises made their way to her ears, and told her that she was in fact not alone in the canyon. While she was glad that she wasn't the only one there, she did not know who was there with her. The first sound was someone speaking. They didn't seem to know where they were either, which disappointed her somewhat. The second noise was some sort of grumbling beast, a noise which she could not place to anything due to her absence of knowledge.

She quickly scrambled for weapons in her 'favorites' pile, wielding as many weapons as she could hold in order to be prepared for anything. She followed the noises quietly as she could with so many items, making sure not to make any sounds herself.

When she was close enough, she saw three beings in the same area a green skinned one, a large orange skinned one, and a much smaller one with yellow skin. She had no idea what they were doing there, and readied herself for a fight, but failing miserable due to not knowing how to wield the weapons in her possession.

Evenkite groaned as she lifted herself up, using Amber's leg for support and rubbing her forehead, where the impact had been. On the bright side, at least the other noise seemed to have stopped, so now at least she didn't need to add a headache as another source of paint in her head.

"Excuse me," she mumbled in a slightly dazed state, apparently not having heard the ''ello'. With her head held low, she let go of the leg and took a few steps back.

A few awkward moments passed where Evenkite said nothing and did nothing, her body completely still and her gaze fixed to the floor. She remained like so until finally, she blinked. And with that blink, her demeanour had changed completely. With alarming speed, her head shot up, attempting (and mostly failing) to make eye contact with the larger being. The scowl from before had returning to her face, and with it her annoynace.

Evenkite took a step forward in what might have been an intimating manner, if it weren't for the fact that she measured up to the other's knee. "Wait, no, excuse you! Yelling your head off like that...Why, I never. You think you're the only one here, don't you, huh? Self-centered much?" Evenkite crossed her arms across her chest and stuck her hooked nose into the air, turning away from the other gem. Narrowing her eyes, she, her head still turned, gave a sideways glance. Or rather, a glare.

"Well, I think you best apologize, Loudmouth."

Before she waiting for her reply, she turned to Emerald -what was with all the new gems all of a sudden?- and though she probably didn't mean for it to sound hostile, she let out a quick "What do you want?" which sounded more like a snarl than a question. She didn't seem to see Sodalite, and if she did, she took no notice.

In a hole about a story off the ground a dull grey light shone as Howlite's body formed. It formed slowly, forming first her legs, then arms, and finally her head. When the light died down Howlite's hand reached out of the hole and dragged her to the edge of the cliff where she looked dowN and jumped back. "Where am I, what is this place?" She asked herself and covered her mouth a bit surprised at her new voice "and how do I get down to the floor?". Howlite stood up in her hole and peeked over the edge preparing herself to slide down the wall when she saw the fog roll in "just do it, just do it" she said and jumped aiming for a area where there was no fog. She landed with a big thump and a flurry of dust, when the dust settled Howlite could finally get a good look at the area she woke up in. "Battleground" was the only work that came to Howlite's mind as she scanned the area. She was just about to call out until she heard noises emanating from somewhere deeper in the canyon. Smiling Howlite began making her way towards the sounds pausing along the way to look at the strange machines.

White Spinel watched the action from the pile of rubble she had situated herself in. Since she had awoken, a large, loud being had gotten her attention by yelling about things she couldn't believes anyone would ever care about. A loud rumbling sound had revealed itself as another being, yet another being had made themselves known by colliding with the big one, and still another appeared as if they were getting ready to start a fight.

This wouldn't do. These individuals had ruined the silence that Spinel had been sincerely enjoying, and their bright, distinct colors were ruining the dull, dead landscape. What should I do? Spinel wondered to herself. Shoot them? Could she do that? For some reason, she was sure that she could. She decided against that course of action. Firing at them would probably cause even more noise, and something about the idea of harming other living beings made her feel... bad. She had no precise word for the feeling, but it was certainly bad. Should she simply approach them and ask them to stop? No, that could lead to her being asked tedious questions. Try to frighten them? A smirk drew across Spinel's face. Frighten them.

The little ghost gem instinctively turned invisible and she began running towards the strangers, but she reduced her speed to a slow walk as she started to get close. A mouse's footsteps would hardly have been quieter. She snuck up on the gems until she was close enough that she was sure her voice would startle them. "Leave this place at once!" she attempted to shout, but it came out as more of a squeak.

Zircon had been dozing off on that rock she was sitting before her ears picked up the noises that was going about, for her ears were not entirely focused on them. How long has that been going on? Zircon wiped her face before sliding off the rock where she winds up into a crouching position. She puts her hands on the ground again and then wipes the dirt off her hands awkwardly once again. Zircon looks towards the direction of where she thinks the commotion is coming from. She wasn't sure if she should go towards it or not, but she winds up walking towards it anyway. She walked slowly, still unsure if she should even be approaching. As she reached the source of the noise, there she found a green-skinned person, a large orange one, and then a tiny yellow one. Zircon was kinda just...standing there, out in the open. She was around...eight feet away? Nine feet? Somewhere around there, that was her distance from them. She watched with a slightly tilted head. What's even going on?

Amber had to admit, he was at a lost for words. First this small little yellow imp head-butted his leg and now it was mad at him? He couldn't help but laugh, he nearly doubled over as he held his sides. "This is bloody priceless." He said as he stood straight again, wiping away a tear of laugher. He looked back down at the small yellow, girl maybe, before he continued. "Actually lass I did think I was alone, well alone by that I was the only thing around here that you know wasn't a rock or growling monster." He said with a chuckle. "Though since you were already so nice as to try and tackle my leg could you do me the kindness of telling me where here is? I don't seem to have the foggiest idea." He said as he scratched his head. The amber colored lad's attention was soon drawn to a bright light that was being shone at him. The light was connected to yet another person, this time a green fellow who seemed a bit nicer than the yellow little girl. "Oi mate can you kill the lights? They are kind of blinding me." He said, using one of his massive hands to shield his eyes. Though the lights were distracting Amber immediately became worried about the girl standing a little bit away from himself armed with weapons. "Uh did I miss something or is that lass just carrying a whole armory for no reason?" He asked though before anyone could answer a disembodied voice spoke up, telling them to all leave. "Yep this place is crazy..." He mumbled as he looked around for the source of the voice. "Well I would be glad to leave whoever you are, but I have no bloody idea where here is to leave it!"

Emerald stared at the orange guy for a few seconds after he stopped talking to him. "Oh, right. Sure." The beams died down a bit, but were still about a third as bright. He then turned back to Amber, being careful not to look at his eyes. "This is....I'm not sure. But I am pretty sure that we all were.....created here? Pardon my choice of words, I'm not really sure." It seemed to him that all of them, and him, and thousands more, had just....popped out of holes.

She was silent. Sodalite said nothing to any of the other beings around her as she shuffled about, making all of the weapons in her arms clank and ring. She didn't know how to use them, but she knew that she could make them make her be annoying in the eyes of the others. Maybe enough to make them walk away or stop whatever fight that could be starting. It was a rather odd sight, seeing the blue skinned being prance about and try to make as much noise with her weapons as possible.

She started to move backwards, hoping to avoid whatever may be coming next. The disembodied voice startled her, causing her to jump for a second time in her first moments of consciousness. Still she said nothing, and kept her eyes on the largest figure. The orange one was loud and brash, and did not seem to fear the voice. Of course, she would find out soon enough if it was actually true, or a ruse to keep people from seeing another side.

Aquamarine was startled at the sudden loud voice ringing off the canyon walls, her attention turning in the general direction of the noise before sprinting off that way. She stopped for a second, waiting to see if the voice would speak again but was only left with a loud echoing noise that somewhat reminded her of a Corrupted Gem putting her on edge and watching her surroundings carefully. Her hand reached to her gem, her fingers curling around the bottom of her harpoon the was now sticking out and quickly being pulled the rest of the way. Weapon in hand, she stood defensively and waited for any other sound to be present though it was hard to hear much of anything else than the continuous sounds that seemed to be echoing off different directions then suddenly the noise was gone.

It was only when the noise stopped that other voices were present once more making it possible to begin her search. Aqua moved fast, skidding around corners as she use her ears to keep her on track to the location of the converging voices. The sight she was met with was, interesting to say the least but one that brought relief to her heart as she wasn't the only Gem left on Earth though from the words of the orange gem, that one had to be new. "Gems...", Aquamarine sighed in joy but suddenly froze as she realized just because one of them was new, the others could be from the Home World which made her approach cautiously. "What are all you gems doing here?"
