Year 2045

It has been 20 years 2 months and 13 days since the very first User Terrorism. The very sudden emergence of people with abilities caused global catastrophe, rioting and immense destruction in the first few days with their new-found powers. Fires broke out worldwide, half of the users became serial killers in a matter of weeks and the world cried out in response; world leaders gathering to quickly and decisively excise the users from the remaining population and banish them somewhere they could do no further damage to the various economies and governments of the globe.

The User Detention Force was quickly founded, money pouring into the task force from all corners of the globe until they had enough budget to do literally whatever they desired. They could have bought an entire country with the funding they'd received! It took only 3 months with the astronomical amount of money they'd received for their new prison to be completed. Transforming an abandoned man-made island off the coast of an Asian country into the ideal location for dropping and forgetting the Users who had massacred so many individuals in the short span of time they'd been active for.

Finally, the island was completed in its repairs and reconstruction, renamed to Area A and began accepting its first inmates just 4 months after the initial outbreak of Users.

During the span of twenty years since, the population of the island had grown exponentially; from just a small gathering of Users to literally 98% of their population. The UDF had utilised weaponry and equipment of such advance technology that the Users barely stood a chance at escape any more - thus increasing the number of them within Area A. However, even today nobody knows where these abilities came from - even the Users themselves, including the eldest and most intelligent had no clue. With these mysterious creatures all now herded together in one island together to fend for themselves, against themselves, one of the last transport ships pulled up to the heavily guarded dock to drop off a few more Users.

Each User was shipped within their own specialised container to keep them secure and locked down until arrival - the walls made with different material to effectively counteract any abilities they may have. Only two containers were being delivered this run, as most of the Users were now accounted for within the island already; One woman that could materialise a ridiculously large sword and a man who had been posing as a part of the UDF for years. Whether he was actively spying on them or truly believed in their values and ethics, he was found out upon clashing with the sword-wielding woman and the two were arrested together.

No further human contact was made with either party, the containers their only friends until they could feel the ground shifting beneath them when they were hoisted via crane to be lifted up and over the overly tall walls of the prison. Only once they'd again feel the ground shift beneath them did the gate at the end of the containers pull to either side and reveal their new home.

However, that wasn't the only thing that was revealed at that very moment. In front of the fake UDF officer's now opened gates stood a woman he had never met before; her orange hues almost glowing against her dim silhouette that masked his eyes from the bright lighting outside.
"My, you were caught after all. It was a good effort, though." a single, amused giggle escaped her sweetly smiling lips. Before he could even respond, she turned and slid out of view as she stepped away from the entrance to his container.
"Try not to die~" was all she left him with, her very form disappearing from the world as though it were never there to begin with. Instead, another silhouette once again dimmed the lighting from outside his cage; an ecstatic grin planted firm upon the newcomer's features - however that was not the thing he'd have noticed first. What was more prominent than anything else at that point was the sheer bloodlust that was emanating from her.

"Ohohoho! A new friend!" she exclaimed excitedly, stepping inside slowly; the change in lighting revealing her features more clearly. What appeared to be a rather large drill-head spun slowly on the end of what at this moment could only be considered to be her tail, that protruded from the bottom of her overly long hoodie. The front zipper was drawn down lowly enough that her mostly flat, bikini-clad chest was revealed beneath the thick scarf that covered the very base of her pale chin. Following her ridiculous grin up along her lips, his eyes would meet her own slightly glazed pair; the colour having drained slightly over the time she'd spent here in her own personal version of hell. Or was it heaven? Without another second's warning, she lurched forwards - blaring a crazed laugh as her tail launched forwards from over her shoulder towards the male - hoping to pierce through his stomach and kill him quickly.

Hideki... John... Midori... Every one of his squadmates turned on him. He'd done nothing but lead them well and show them exactly how to handle these... things, these "Users." And what did they do? They took the first sign that he might be one of them and they threw him to the law as though he'd been trying to gather intel all these years. How could they? Ten years on the force, his own comrades, locked him in a crate and took everything he'd worked for - said he was one of them. Like he wasn't human.

Fuck them all.

He decided if he ever got out of here, he was going to hunt down each and every one of them for turning their backs on him. They'd be dead if they ever saw him again. That went for every no-good, slack-jawed, braindead piece of shit on the UDF too. The container lifted, it was pretty obvious when his center of gravity shifted and his weight pressed more firmly into the side of the cell. His lip curled back in contempt and he rose to his feet as soon as the ground was beneath it. He crouched down into a position that prepared him to sprint and readied both hands at his side. As soon as the door opened, a blue light gathered around his arms and a large blade sprung forth from a handle which materialized into his hands. Then, he waited. This container felt like an animal cage. When those doors opened, it was supposed to usher a new home, even if it was a prison. But to him, it just felt like one big corner. It wouldn't matter how many miles they made this island or how distant from those walls the center was. There was nothing out there for him.

A moment later, the doors hissed and pulled aside and he was greeted by somebody already standing there. He squinted his eyes, but couldn't make out too many details. He certainly didn't recognize her, but her casual attitude as she stepped away was unnerving and held a certain venom to it, to say the least. There was no time to react between her disappearance and another figure emerging. Eli readied the sword again as this one was instantly recognizable as one of the mutated Users - a driller. But she was just a fuckin' kid. What was with that look in her eyes?

"Hey, don't take another st-" He was cut off as she darted forward. More importantly, her tail began to close in more quickly than she and he took what little time he had to raise the flat of the blade up and brace it with his free hand, catching the pointed attack just in time.

"The hell do you think you're doing, freak?" He asked rhetorically, releasing the block as he dove forward and let the tail fly past him. His sword... or rather, that of the last User he encountered, vanished from his hands and sight. For a moment, he seemed to go be bottling pain, his entire body rippling and shaking as, from his own back, a drill just like the young girl's burst forth from his own back and watched behind him for her counterattack.

"Get the fuck away from me," he warned, his golden-brown eyes boring into her almost-dead ones. She was a fucking sociopath... That glazed expression... Was she born here? Was this place really that awful? The drill-tails watched one another intently, like snakes preparing for battle as he squared off with the teenager, his hands poised for her attack. "Leave me alone, and I won't cause you any trouble."

As her own ability manifested itself upon his own body, the girl visibly froze. Her dumbfounded expression overtaking the sick, twisted grin in a heartbeat whilst her taxed brain tried to activate once more, no longer trusting her baser instincts to understand the situation she was in. The glaze upon her eyes lifted in an instant as her mind kicked into gear, the sight of her own ability squaring off with her forcing her into enough problem-solving that he'd accidentally broken the dead state of her mind.

"Hey...! That's my ability!" she declared with an accusing point of her finger, her drill revving hard in response to her sudden emotional influx. With a quick glance over her shoulder to check and make certain that hers was still present, she turned her puzzled expression back towards him - having seemingly missed the 'freak' insult he'd shot at her just prior.

"How can you do that? Aren't all abilities supposed to be unique? 'Cus that goes beyond similar." she eyed him carefully, her drill whipping back and forth behind her frame slowly.

The entire situation diffused in that instant and he cocked an eyebrow at the curious young girl. "That's... That's your concern?" In disbelief, he shook his head, "Ten seconds ago, you were going to gut me like a fish! Now you're..?!" The man stopped, took a deep breath to level himself and then let it out slowly. "That's... my ability, I guess." As her drill-tail moved behind her, his did the same, mirroring her movements carefully, still not exactly trusting. In fact, less so after her sudden attitude shift.

"Who exactly are you? And why the hell are you way out here, attack random people? That's a good way to get killed," He said skeptically, his eyes narrowing as he held her gaze, watching for even the slightest movement. This container was cramped and he still had no idea where the hell he was, come to think of it. He hadn't stepped out yet - he could be in the middle of some city, about to kill a kid, right in front of everybody. But he didn't exactly know the layout of Area A, as the information was pretty highly classified. No, he was going into this blind.

"Why not?" she responded suddenly and very seriously, watching the man as though he were the weird one, "You don't belong to a gang yet so I can kill you." she stated matter-of-factly, her tail whirring into gear once again as it poised, waiting to strike outwards once more. Since he'd spent some time now with the door to his container opened wide, the light from outside was not coming in as brightly - letting him get a glimpse of what lay beyond the girl before him; a ruined city, rubble littering the streets here and there with some passer-bys not even bothering to glance their way.

Suddenly, the girl perked up at the sound of the second container opening; the time-lock finally reaching its goal and letting the other prisoner out into the open. She desperately wanted to go and see who else was arriving in Area A but alas - the man in front of her was too interesting to pass up. What would it be like to kill someone using her own ability, she wondered?

"That makes literally no sense," He pointed out flatly, sighing in irritation. Maybe this place would just be full of foolish children and he'd have to spend every waking minute of the day trying to figure out what nonsense they were speaking now. He looked past her for a moment, trying to grow aware of his surroundings, hoping she was alone.

"If you were going to kill me, you'd have already done it. Now, you've missed your chance," He stated, waving a hand dismissively, "I must be awfully interesting for you not to care who's in the other container..." A small smirk formed on his face, "Don't you want to meet the person who's at fault for me ending up here?" There was a hint of hatred in his voice, but he spoke the truth - it was that woman's fault that he was now here, in Area A.

"'Cause trust me, you don't want to turn your back on that can of peanut brittle - she's nuts." His observation was all too serious - whether she was actually crazy or not remained to be seen, but he already had a negative opinion of her for getting him to here.

She cocked her head at his words, the logic behind them seemingly slipping right through one ear and out the other, as though his reasoning was completely out of tune with how things worked here. She visibly braced, her frame dipping slightly as she grew more guarded towards him again - her blood-lust returning all at once like a wave of uncontrollable need.
"So... All I need to do is kill you, right?" her grin returned in due time, smearing across her face, "Then I can go and kill the peanut brittle." she giggled to herself once she'd echoed his words, before lurching towards him again without a second's hesitation. Leaping through the air, she struck her tail out towards him, spinning her body to face away from him with the momentum she'd catapulted herself with - kicking at him a couple of times whenever her tail would retreat from its attack, stabbing into the walls, ceiling or ground to balance her again before lashing towards him again and again, keeping her perpetually moving within the air and constantly attacking from varying angles.

"Wrong." He grit his teeth and launched into her as she attacked once again. It was hardly unpredictable at this point, what with her constant attitude shifting. A loud clang would ring out whenever the two drills met in the air, blocking her advances as sparks flew from their contact points. Each of her attacks by hand or foot were quite easily parried, save for one which caught him by surprise as it landed into the square of his jaw; it was keeping up with that damned tail of hers that was the problem. As she threw a punch, recovering her balance by jabbing the floor, he reached forward and took hold of her small wrist before ducking, turning and rolling her directly over his back.

The drill he'd "stolen" from her stopped humming as he ground the spin to a halt and pressed it heavily down at the base of hers, pinning it to the floor. He spit to the side, a bit of blood joining it, "Sheesh, for such a small hand, you pack a heavier punch than it looks," He muttered before pressing his knees into her arms and placing a hand over her neck to hold her head in place, his other fist in the air. He stared for several moments, hand shaking overhead before he released her throat and let his arm fall to his side. No...

"I told you, you missed your chance, I'm not dying today. Not by your hand, at least," he stated in disgust, "The real question is what the fuck do I do with you now..." He wasn't really asking the question, more musing quietly to himself. What was he supposed to do if he didn't kill her? It's not like somebody her age would ever put up a fight against the UDF. They wouldn't even have a chance to against a whole squad of them, so killing was never an issue there. Adults? Easy. But to kill her? No, that would be incredulous. Plus, she mentioned a gang - if she's got a gang, then they're going to come after him.

She struggled briefly once he'd pinned her to the floor of the container, her tail writhing beneath his own and her legs desperately kicking back and forth, up and down to try and rid her body of his weight but to no avail. Finally, she calmed down all at once - death accepted from the depths of her heart. However, there was no frown that beset her features upon the realisation of her demise and her eyes continued to shimmer with mischief, excitement and entertainment.
"What's there to think about? Just kill me." she blinked up at him almost stupidly, unsure as to how he could come to any conclusion other than to simply deal with her.
"I said so, right? If you're not in a gang, nobody cares." she reminded him, simply staring up at him beneath her slightly deflated grin.

"There's a lot to think about. If you're in a gang, the last thing I want is a bunch more of you chasing after me. And even if you're not, how would it look if I murdered some kid on my first day out here? It would mean I'm no better than you people," He pointed out, leaning forward, "And I'm certainly better than you... Don't worry, this just means I'm not killing right now. Piss me off too much more and I'll make sure nobody hears your pathetic screams," The man spat, not trusting her enough yet to stand or let her go.

Wait... Eli furrowed his brow, she didn't have a group? "If you're not in one, then again, why would you go around attacking people? That's just stupid," he said, finally rising and pulling his weight off of her, keeping his own drill-tail ready. She may have been altered by her time here, but the girl was still young, she could change. She might not be able to de-mutate so easily, but that didn't mean she couldn't use her ability to stop help stop the Users who criminalized them all in the first place.

"Get up and either leave or hang around - but it's inadvisable to try a third attack, at least for your sake," he explained dismissively, taking a few steps away from her without turning around, his muscles tense and his eyes not leaving her for a moment before he stepped out of the container and into the ruined city. He wanted to get a bearing on his surroundings, but he couldn't very well do that when a girl full of bloodlust was right there in front of him. However, Elijah was able to spare a quick glance around to see if anybody else was on the offensive and called to the other container. "Hey, you in there?!" He asked, several feet to the side of the entrance, his gaze shifting back to the driller girl warily. He just wanted to get the hell out of this place...

The tip of her tail stabbed against the metal floor of the container, locking in place and heaving her up to her feet in a single push - the girl now much more confused than before. Not only did he not kill her, even after she initiated the combat in the first place but he also seemed to be somehow worried about her, despite his harsh name-calling. As he slipped outside the container, still facing her defensively, she merely watched him with interest; the puzzled expression upon her features unchanging.

There was no response to his shout from the opposite container, the door wide open but no being stepping outside. At least, not for another thirty seconds; it was only then that Alina actually exited her 'home' for the past couple of days, her snow-white hair cascading around her features to create the perfect frame for her feminine face. Crimson hues slid towards Elijah, inspecting his stance just a moment before returning them to their surroundings. With an all-too-underwhelmed sigh, she started down into the city ruins - wanting to at least find some place to wash up and renew herself.

Elijah stared at the woman in disbelief as she completely ignored him and started to look after her own concerns. It was like she was entirely unaffected by all of this? He resolved quickly that she must have accepted being locked away long before she was even captured. He rather assumed that for most Users, as they were all running out the clock until they were sent to the island. Still, to be so passive about the whole thing and to completely ignore him? When it came down to it, that was just rude. He started after her, trying to keep one eye on the unpredictable girl who had attacked him first.

"Hey, where the hell are you going?" He asked rather aggressively, "It's your fault I'm stuck here now and you're just going to walk away like that was your intention from the very beginning?" They hadn't traveled far at all, so he turned back to the drill-girl and called out, "Hey, where did you come from, anyway?" She had to be from somewhere - this place was rundown, sure, but she had to have some place nearby that she stayed. Otherwise she wouldn't be out wandering this far.

"My fault?" She stopped in her tracks, a small plume of dust kicking up in front of her due to the sudden brake in momentum. Turning abruptly to face the accusing male, Alina's passive expression scrunched into a bitter snarl of contempt.
"You're the one at fault here, idiot! Not only did you come after me even after I'd beaten down those other Users who were destroying a building, but you're even a User yourself! I heard what you called that girl when she attacked you; you should save it for the mirror. As far as I can see, you're the only one less than human here." Alina ranted at him, spilling the facts to him as insultingly as possible before thrusting her finger up and flipping him off.

"Wow, she doesn't like you." the driller had followed him closely, her presence all but non-existent so long as her blood-lust wasn't leaking from every pore on her body. Her hands were settled comfortably within the pockets of her hoodie, her tail swaying from side to side low to the ground.
"What do you mean? I've always been here." she cocked her head some again, before giving him yet another puzzled expression, "But I know where you came from. Everyone comes from the metal boxes." her smile brightened once again as she showed off her smarts, "It is usually pretty easy to kill the ones that come from the metal boxes - that way I can have food."

At first, Eli thought that the girl with the drill was referring to people as her food and his skin crawled. Then the obvious hit him - of course, she was competing for rations. Being born here probably made her less than sympathetic to the lives she took and the need for food came before the need for morals. If she were to be the first to befriend anybody coming out of those containers, though, she could have a small army of her own. If she weren't so batshit crazy, she might even be able to get a little following going.

The Mimic was too put off by Alina's harsh words to give much more thought to it, however. His own demeanour remained steadfast, "Don't sit there and try to act like some goody-goody. Are you kidding me? If you would have just let the UDF do their jobs and never used your power in the first place, I wouldn't have taken it myself in front of anybody. But no - how do you fight a big-ass sword like that? With one's own big-ass fucking sword. That's how. You should've kept your nose out of business that you had nothing to do with!" He shouted in response, staring daggers past her vulgar finger and unintentionally causing the drill on his new tail to spin as his anger flared up.

At the back of his mind, he'd have to remember to ask the smaller girl her name and clarify that he referred to where she had come from for the day, for her little exploration, not in general.

Alina couldn't help but chuckle aloud at his response to her accusations, logic seemingly lost on his ludicrous hatred for their kind. At this point, was it even worthwhile continuing their argument? He was shouting her down with emotional whereas she was dictating facts and morals. Regardless of which person's voice was stronger, the emotional one would never back down. Concluding that there was indeed no point in even talking to him at that point, she turned away from him and continued on her way into the depths of the ruins - only to stop once again, noting several people gathered near an intersection. Some of them kept glancing her way, their faces hidden behind tattered bandanna's or scarves, whilst others bore large masks that made inspecting their expression impossible. Glancing away from the group, she continued to visually explore her surroundings; taking in as much as she could, as she'd need as much information as possible to survive this harsh environment. However, once she'd reminded herself that survival was core to her goal, the girl that had attacked Elijah earlier sprung to mind. Turning once again, she wished to address her to figure out where any good spots for hiding were - only to be met with her blood-lust in full, as the girl had shot forwards from behind Elijah - her tail whirring loudly as she flew through the air to her new target; Alina.

"If you are done talking, I can kill you right?!" she cackled, her mouth agape with a terrifying grin of delight and entertainment as she slung her tail forth once again, hoping to swipe Alina's head clear from her shoulders. A resounded clanging noise emanated from between them as her tail met the broad side of the blade Alina could materialise at will. The usual low hum of its inner power suddenly spiked in volume and speed, throbbing against the very air itself as it drew in energy for a coming conflict.

"If you can't beat him, what makes you think you can defeat me?" Alina cursed quietly, knocking the tail aside and readying herself to strike.

Elijah crossed his arms as the girl burst forth from behind him. Part of him egged him on to stop her, but the other part knew Alina would be able to handle herself. And if not, well... As she had said, more food, right? He watched passively as Alina was able to block the attack with her large blade. He looked to the ground and found a little rock, his gaze kind of just boredly hovering around before he picked it up and tossed it into the air before letting it fall back to his palm. To be honest, the reality of this place either wasn't sinking in, or he honestly didn't care as much as he thought he did, repeating the process of tossing the rock into the air and catching it.

As the two faced off, the former UDF officer noticed something moving in a nearby alleyway and furrowed his brow, throwing the small rock at whatever it was. "Hey, get out here!" He shouted, readying the tail he was still getting used to. A blond figure stepped out, a cigarette between his lips with his hands in the air.

"Hey, hey... Calm down, bucko. I'm Quentin - I was actually on my way out cause I saw the containers drop. Like everybody else - just wanted to make sure you didn't get killed if it wasn't supplies in there," He confessed. The pistol at his hip conveyed a different message, but at least it wasn't in his hand.

The mimic watched him skeptically, "Elijah... Don't go sneaking around in shadows, that's a surefire way to get yourself killed."

Quincy laughed and shook his head, "It's also a much easier way to kill somebody, newbie. You clearly haven't been here long." He looked to the two girls and back to Eli, "Are they fighting over... you?"

Elijah laughed, "Oh, no... Uh... I don't know, exactly. That one there attacked me twice before I left my container, so I really don't know."

"Yeah, easy enough," the man noted, pulling the bag off his back and reaching inside, giving a loud whistle. "Yo, Jackie! Here, now you can stop trying to kill random people," He shouted, pulling a wrapped up steak sandwich out and tossing it her way as soon as she looked over.

Jackie immediately turned away from Alina, entirely ignoring whether or not she was about to strike back and instead hopped into the air - catching the still-wrapped sandwich between her eager jaws and landing silently a few meters further. Her movements were almost cat-like to the eye, however the constant thumping of her tail against the broken tarmac and pavement beneath her feet showing off her excitement for the mouth-watering snack did very little to keep that elegant aura she'd just shown off.

The snow-haired swords-woman watched unamused, the situation having turned goofy so quickly that she was left looking like the foolish one. Once again, a deflating sigh escaped her lips and she left her blade to slip away into the nothingness that was the air around her - dissolving from her fingers and rendering her weapon-less once more. A newcomer's arrival, Elijah's prattling and Jackie's over the top antics were all far too much for her stressed mind to take in at once. Opting to remove herself from the equation, she quickly made herself scarce - not willing to let herself be brought to a stop once again and effectively disappeared behind a corner.

"She's not evil, just hungry," He explained to the obvious looks of incredulity. "Needs kind of run the world out here..." As the white-haired woman began to walk away, Quinten crossed his arms and cocked an eyebrow, "This place has seen a lot of shit. Nobody really travels alone - you'll die if you don't at least tag along with somebody. Besides, there's more where that came from and a lot less people standing around, waiting for you to approach so that they can kill you and take anything and everything you've got." His voice was stern and matter-of-fact as Alina tried to slip away, his eyes not leaving her. "What's their to lose? You'll die out there by nightfall - there isn't a place in this city that's left to hide yourself, not a good one anyway, that isn't already inhabited. And trust me, you don't want to step on other people's toes out here... They're not so forgiving."

Eli was a bit occupied with Jackie's excited leap toward the food and he looked her over curiously. Her tail slammed repeatedly into the ground in excitement and he placed his hands in his pockets, rocking on his heels as the sound filled the street. "Quite an appetite," he observed as she dug into the sandwich, his own gaze moving to his tail, watching the drill spin and stop, getting the hang of its control. Never know when you might need it again, he figured - just in case he didn't find another power or ever used hers again, it was always good to get a feel for one the first time you used it. "You were... born on the island?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck, how old was she? Couldn't be over eighteen and she'd lived her whole life in hostile captivity. "You don't ever think of trying to escape or anything?" Not that any User had ever successfully done so - at least not to his knowledge. But still, one would think that they'd try.

Even with Quinten speaking after her, Alina didn't even stop to give him the time of day to finish his explanation. Of course, she understood that this place was hostile territory no matter where she tread; what was the point in staying in the ruins, though? The city on the horizon looked much better a place to hole up - regardless of what kind of people controlled it. Her silhouette faded into the distance as she began her trek, not sparing any moment to glance back at the odd-ball group.

Elijah's words fell upon deaf ears, the girl far too engrossed in her delicious sandwich to even notice she was being spoken to. Hell, it was rare enough that people would talk to her at all - let alone feed her so readily. Of course, if she were more normal a girl she'd probably feel indebted to Quinten for his generosity, but alas she did not feel any sort of inclination to like him more than anyone else she'd try to kill at the drop of a hat. Once she was finished, she sighed contentedly into the air, her tail slowing in its consistent thumping of the ground before standing upright and at attention. Now that she was not hungry any longer, her most desperate need was to sleep - glancing around slowly to see if she could find somewhere nice to nap.

Quentin shrugged, he wasn't going to make her hang around. Some survived like she did, it was just rare around here. If you were new, there was no telling if you'd last more than a day.

"C'mon, let's get outta here, I don't like the looks of the guys up the road there and to be honest, hanging around is one of the last things on my list," He explained, shoving his hands into his pockets.

Eli watched him skeptically - this guy had a lot of bravado despite his youth and he had yet to show any kind of power. That was unnerving to say the least. Regardless, he had a point - walking away alone wouldn't be conducive to survival. While the man was confident he could take on a couple of Users by himself, he knew that getting supplies and escaping a group of them would prove to be a lot more difficult. He glanced at Jackie before giving a shrug and nodding to the newest arrival on scene.

"Gotta say, I'd rather be killed on a full stomach than an empty one. I'm in," He mused. Quentin nodded, knowing that Jackie would join or do whatever she damn well pleased.

He started to lead them through the city before finding a door to what looked like it used to be a bar built on the ground floor, in the basement of a building. It had no handle and was made of metal, like it was never really meant to be opened. They descended a few steps before arriving and he placed his hand on the hard surface. As he pulled it away, the door began to dissolve and wrap his arm in cloth, finally disappearing from view entirely and leaving him with a rather large piece of fabric, letting the other two in before stepping over the threshold himself and replacing the metal "blockade" as it were. It took a minute or so to get the transmutation done, but he did this one so often that the difference and shape and consistency was just the most convenient for him.

"Yo, Kabal, you in? Got a newbie here!"
