Are your tired of normal fantasy RPs? Well have I got the RP for you! No Dwarves! No Gnomes! No Elves! No Hobbits! Brand new races and concepts like you've never seen before! The planet of Crawtorio
Once upon a time, there was a planet inhabited by dwarves named "Krippwes." It was flat and boring, sporting only some mountains and rivers. Unfortunately, the dwarves of Krippwes meant an untimely end when a great meteor struck the planet, ending their existence. But with life comes death. The crater created by the meteor became a large option that takes up one fifth of the planet. It is still known as the Krippwes Ocean. Soon after, new species started cropping up to take their place. Elves, gnomes, goblins, orcs, ogres, and even humans. But many of these were either wiped out completely, or their numbers dwindled incredibly low. The gnomes all died of a plague. The elves and orcs were all killed in a great war between the ogres and the elves. The ogres barely survived the conflict- there are only five that still live. A great human magician was soon born in the planet. He is known as The Wolf. The Wolf experimented on goblins and humans alike, taking many of them captive. Many of his experiments with goblins went horribly. The few hundred goblins that remain living usually suffer from severe mental problems. However, using humans, The Wolf was able to create a multitude of new species. And from these species he created more and more. But that was long ago. Soon, The Wolf was forced into a dormant volcano known as The Lung of the Land.
Magic Honestly, I couldn't avoid it. It doesn't how different this RP is going to be from other fantasy RPs, it's gotta have magic. Magic is split into six different "flaps". Each of those flaps is set up into three "subflaps."
-Demons SF (High Risk, High reward. Demons are stronger than Undead created from Necromancy or anything made from conjuration, but very disobedient, and will do their best to turn on you. If a demon is holding a weapon or using armor, they will be stone, gold, or demonforged) -Raw Energy SF (Easiest to learn and most commonly used) -Necromancy SF (Less risky than Demons, More risky than Conjuration. There is a risk of undead turning on you, if you underestimate your ability to control them)
-Conjuration SF (Things that are created through conjuration are loyal, but they die fairly quickly. A strong Necromancer's minions will stick around longer than a conjurers. Armies are difficult to "conjure" because they disappear fairly quickly. Also can create tools/ weapons. Limited by imagination) -Hypnosis SF -Empowerment SF (Heal and/or buff your friends and weapons)
-Ice SF -Blood SF (Why fight them when we can just get their heart to stop beating?) -Hydro SF (Just add water. LOTS of water)
-Nature SF -Quake SF (Sound/ Noise) -Rock SF
-Lava SF -Flame SF (Just add fire. Nope, that doesn't quite work...) -Ash SF (Can be used with
-Breath SF (Give something that is dead or inanimate life. Create golems, flying pianos, etc.) -Wind SF -Storm SF
A magician's aura determines how powerful he/she is. The more pure the aura, the more potential the magician has. An aura that is 100% red is stronger than an aura 87% red and 13% white. Although the auras can be different colors, the color of the aura has nothing to do with the skill of the magician.
[hider=Casting Spells] Materials There are a few different materials in this magical world of Crawtorio. In addition, certain materials that wouldn't make sense to use in weapons/ armor (e.g. Silver, gold, wood) actually have some viable uses.
Magical resistance not only means that your armor protects you more from magic, but your damage to someone casting a spell or to something created from the spell.
-Iron -Wood: Fairly strong against most magic (With the exception of the fire field), however, it is shattered by most other materials, making it subpar in a fight against other swordsman -Leather: Easiest material to Empower, but other than that, weaker than Iron. Armor only -Coppertin: Also an easy material to empower, but not as easy as Leather. Quite weak, but was used as a sign of nobility by the elves. Now the stuff is basically useless, and armor would fall apart if you fell down the stairs. In addition, it was very heavy. Some throwing knives are made partially out of coppertin because it is unusually heavy. Nobles still sometimes wear crowns made of coppertin. It is also said to resist the Water Flap -Mystic Metal: Any tool, weapon, or piece of armor created via conjuration is made of what is called "mystic metal." Slightly weaker than iron, but this is made up for with its slight increase in magical resistance. It looks blue and, if you squint, you can actually see through mystic metal. -Stone: Less sturdy than iron, but the cheapest out of all of the materials. Weapons only -Steel: Strictly better than iron, but more expensive -Gold: Weaker than iron, but the magical resistance is MUCH higher than that of iron. -Silver: Strength of iron, but stronger against Chaos Flap -Demonforged: MUCH stronger than iron, extra strong against Control Flap -Dwarven Fruitcake: The most powerful of all metals, dwarven fruitcake is not actually fruitcake, but the most sturdy of all metals. The downside is that it rusts incredibly fast if not contained properly. Usually, fruitcake this is not preserved lasts about two weeks before it begins to rust. It is also incredibly expensive -Kalla-Da: Kalla-Da is light and actually gives the user of any material a speed boost. It is light, sturdy, and resists the Earth Flap -Diamond: Very strong, but lack of mobility. Resists the Air Flap -Scale Armor: Slightly stronger than steel and resists the Fire Flap
