Back Story: When he was first born Ryan never cried. He was perfectly fine in every way except that he never made a single sound. His mother died during childbirth and his father soon drank himself to death afterwards. He was given to some foster parents but they never cared about him due to his complete silence at all times. It wasn't that he couldn't talk, he just didn't want to. At the age of 5 he wandered off into the forest never to be seen again. A national search was called for him, but after 7 years they called off the search. At the age of 13 he was found by traveling Pokemon Professor Birch, being protected by friendly Pokemon. It took several days to get the Pokemon away from him but the world marvelled at the boy who learned to live with nature. Several people interviewed him but as usual he never gave too much information. Until one day he was asked about Pokeballs. The interview is hard to find on the internet but it's said he almost attacked the interviewer in his rage about the cruelty of keeping living and intelligent creatures like Pokemon in tiny cages. 2 years later he began challenging every gym in the Kantor region and destroying everything that lay in his path. He became known as Nature's Talon due to his controversial stance on cutting down forests, capturing Pokemon in Pokeballs, and corporations using abusing Pokemon workers.
