Yes, I am going to keep him around. Originally he was going to be the one that knew about the hybrids because his mom was a witch, but I changed my mind when I reread his back story. ^.^

Ah well I'm glad that you picked Jessie instead. Because I was totally blown out of the water that she was a witch, and the fact she was Avina's mother just made it that much better!
