First of all, fair warning, I don't read Warriors anymore. I stopped a long ass time ago. Not that I didn't love the series as a child, but I grew out of it and it was hard to follow up on it after getting into young adult and adult literature. And in adulthood, I shouldn't feel this way, but I do feel a little silly reading books about anthropomorphic cats. But hey, there adults out there who are watching My Little Pony, so...
Anyway, as I said, I DID love the series. It was amazing. And I was feeling nostalgic and decided I would like to do a Warriors roleplay. Since Warriors is essentially about supernatural cats and their starry religion, I think there would be quite a lot of plots to create, involving prophecies and so on. I also thought that maybe we could do a generation switch kind of thing. Rp characters, then later on, rp their kittens, etc., as the Clans develop.
For now, people would only be allowed characters from ThunderClan the clan I choose for the rp to take place in. Not because I don't like the idea of involving all the clans, but because, from past experience, it can get messy having too many cats from too many different origins. Rest assured, we will involve characters from other Clans, but for the most part, we will play from the point of view of ThunderClan. This would also be in an alternate timeline, so we don't involve characters from the novels, 1st, so people aren't scrambling over who interacts with what, and secondly, because I don't know anything about the present novels. This also gives us a chance to be more original, without having the novels interfer to heavily with the plot.
No sparkle characters, or special breeds. Just regular looking cats. The rp would also have sandbox elements, allowing people to create plots and such. Players are free to approach me with major plot ideas, if they have any.
Of course, there's no assurance this will get any attention. I'm not sure people my age even remember this phase of their life anymore and I'm young, lol.
