But I've been thinking, Xo. What if I did bring back Ethaniel and Ilana for old times' sake?... and then, much much later, when the time is right... their proteges take over the mantles in some new chapter? It would allow me to finish a few subplots, such as revealing why Ethan is dubbed The Lidless Dragon, why Ethan loves and hates Ilana at the same time, will Ilana ever give in to Geko's advances, etc. etc...

It would also be more comfortable, persona-wise, for me to slip into. ^^;

The question would be when would I enter the story? Now? As instructors/invigilators? Or later?

I also need some help with alchemic styles: they never had them, and I don't really know which ones suit them best based on how they were before and what they've done. Like Ilana's BitchSnap and BoomBox (remember those techniques? Used against that Shadow/Darkness chinese girl) and Ethan's ability to paralyze people with the penlight set on his body? They used their alchemy in the most minimalist way possible in order to produce the 'stone' that topples the 'wall'. Remember? They had to be like that. They've been in AMRO for almost 2 decades and are getting older and older lol.

So what say ya?

Sounds good, I don't mind the return of Ethan and Illana. Though you will probably have to wait till half way through this chapter. There will be an opening which you can use to show your character's drop in.

As far as alchemic styles go, of they focus on using alchemy subtly, then the combination of Vocem as primary and Motem as secondary is best.

As far as unlinked goes it is unlikely they would work in pairs all the time. But yes certain missions they can be tasked to work with other unlinked, but this is usually short term.

@Grif of Hearts Actually, I have been told that using alchemy to create sigils for another cast is /incredibly/ draining on energy and sanity, and essentially unwise. So if you need to manipulate the ink alchemically for the symbols, it probably won't work well. However, if you write them, that works, and I like this. *bounces on* I totally have a character I'm toying with that I'd be happy to make your char's partner. *wriggles* I mean, if we get to bring in more chars later, that is. I was actually playing with the idea of her writing on her arm for sigillum casts. ^.^ Haha, you guys are great.

@Xodus what if the kids don't have alchemy? I mean, there's no /guarantee/...

@Rumplestiltskin I agree about the undercover identities. And I think a char's past will always have an effect on their future. ^.^ I like mimimalist casts too. It's so much more fun to see how you can make a big change with just a little power. <3 By the way, what happened to your spoilers?

I should mention, I made a mistake. For some reason I was under the impression that weird-colored hair could be natural. My pair don't /have/ to have blue hair, it's just a carry-over from their initial creation. Bits would never dye her hair, in fact, so now her hair is dark brown. Sparks might, and now he does.
