@Mahz, Would it be possible to get the RP Tag requests thread removed from the anti-necromancy field?

We're thinking its time for it to be worked on again.

Yeah, @Mahz, me and Khan have the same problem as Yoshua with our records not appearing below our names when activated, just thought I'd let you know in case it's a bug or something.

@Ellri I bumped it. I don't remember how my anti-necro system works , but I believe it's based off most recent post. Can you post in it?

@MelonHead Okay, thanks for the confirmation. I'll look into it.

@MelonHead @Celaira @yoshua171: I figured out the issue that prevents the arena stats from displaying in the postbit.

I'll push up the fix shortly.

It appears that it was. And 'month' changed to 'mo' and 'year' to 'yr'. IMO, 'mo' (and its plural 'mos') looks like a weird abbreviation.

@Nimda @BBeast Yeah, I condensed the timestamps a few hours hrs ago so that I could reuse the same abbreviations on large screens, small screens, and small buttons.

"mos" is the standard abbreviation, though now that you point it out, it's starting to look funny to me as well.

I like the unabbreviated format better, but it was a compromise. Ideally I will figure out how to use longer timestamps when there is room and smaller timestamps when there isn't, but I keep things real non-committal.

@Mahz
When something is decided in the Dev Journal (such as this) and put off until later, is it written down somewhere, or solely committed to memory?

@LegendBegins

I either create a Github issue, scribble it into a page of a notebook I have on my desk, jot it down into some loose leaf file on my computer, sketch it into the guild's README which I usually don't commit to version control because I store private credentials there , or fold it into my brain and hope for the best.

I generally remember decisions made here, though.

However, small-but-nontrivial tweaks are what I struggle with. Like @Ellri's annoyance with the @Mention system. It annoys me too, but it's not something I will take a break from my real job/work to address. And by the time I get home, I either want to avoid my computer or spend the free time on crunching through a harder guild feature.

But let it be known that there exists a formal Github issue for the @Mention annoyance: github.com/danneu/guild/issu..

Are the github issues that prevented other individuals from contributing that TheMaster99 mentioned during your absence fixed now?

Selfish question: Are the skins being considered, or is it already decided? That was never really clear.

"Friendship" System

Added the start of a "Friendship" system. You can visit anyone's profile and find an add-"friend" button:

Once you have at least one "friend", you'll see a new sidebar appear on the homepage.

Though note that "Friendship" is in quotes because none of these people on this list know that they're my "friend".

More to come.

@LegendBegins It isn't really a problem with the Github repo, but that he has added more and more to his local build, without updating the generic dev build, so as a result it won't compile, and the test database is missing entries, etc. I did remind him earlier today of the issue, so hopefully it should be resolved before long so that I and/or others may contribute once more

I plan to be contributing as soon as that issue is fixed. In reality, I wanted to contribute as soon as everything with my device was repaired, but then that happened. You know, life.

Maybe @TheMaster99 can fix his green postbit for, apparently, tablets/mobile devices.

I've started fixing the dev build. It's missing heaps of the database schema.

You know what they say: Copy/paste is a programmer's best friend.

Intellisense is a better friend than copy paste, in my opinion. Although obviously sublime (nor any other text editor that I know of) doesn't offer that, so in this case it is a moot point
