Lorenzo sighed, after another day of school he knew that things were starting to become quiet and that just made Lorenzo worry even more. The calm before the storm he believed. Lorenzo even started to get dark circles around his eyes from how little he slept. Lorenzo couldn't allow anyone hurt his pieces like that again. They may have given a pledge to defend his house but they were his family and whenever someone hurts family you don't let them get away with it but Lorenzo was clueless on how to track them down and he hasn't heard about what happen to that fallen that lord Lucifer took a while ago.

Lorenzo rubbed his eyes in frustration as he walked into the "religious research club" room and walked into the office where they usually meet. Lorenzo had to figure out some sort of plan and soon, he feared that even help from lord Zeke wouldn't fully help if they had no idea what or who they were up against...

A knock was heard on the door of the club room, shortly after Zeke walked in.
"Seems my group has settled down, they will be enrolled in the school starting the first coming day (*)"

Zeke then sat down on a chair behind a chessboard with his eyes closed "So, I guess its time to start thinking about tactics?"
Suddenly Zeke's eye's shot open, when you know he can sense aura's that would likely what you expect from him at this point, however...
"Seems I may have to do something else" he said with a smile.
A magic circle appeared under the chair he was sitting in and started to move upwards.
Once the light faded Zeke's appearance had changed from looking 25 to looking 16 "I believe this would be better" he simply said.

Tsuruko exhaled as she did her motions for her sword. She was behind the building for the religious research club practicing with her sword. She failed and as such she needed to make herself better to protect her new friends from danger. As a queen piece she was one of the strongest pieces on the field yet still some of the peerage members was hurt this could not stand. The straw dummy she had set up was cut up and was barely held together as it was. Sheathing her sword she sat down before taking a small sip as she watched the clouds roll by. Figuring it was around time she headed into the club building not before bringing a small bottle of cold tea for her lord. He was worried and was busy trying to figure out what attacked his peerage practically tearing himself apart as is so she did what she could for him doing the club paperwork for the student council among other things. Reaching the desk Lorenzo was sitting at she placed down the bottle of tea nearby for him before quickly taking a position behind him keeping guard as was her standard procedure.

==Zeke==

Zeke watched as Lorenzo's queen entered the room to bring her king a cup of thee.
"Hello Tsuruko, how have you been?" he greeted her as she seemed to have failed his presence.

Shinichi laughed as he threw the final punch knocking over another freshmen. "Geez you guys are so weak!" The head of the club growled as he watched Shinichi remove his head gear. He was hurrying to get out of the everything and into his normal clothes so he could go to the clubhouse. "Hey, where are you going?!" The karate club president was furious. His plan to get Shinichi to join had failed. Though it had succeeded in wasting quite a bit of time and making the young man late to get to his master's side.

"Shuddup! I'm sick of these little tricks." The young man roared, his right hand clutching his side. In the last attacked he'd managed to deal some damage to the enemy, but he still walked away with two broken ribs, a sore shoulder and a lot more bruised than he was comfortable with. This little Karate club ambush didn't help his situation. And he couldn't very well back down.

"Next time just fight me yourself!" Shinichi shouted before running out, throwing his bag over his shoulder gripping it in his left hand. He didn't have very much time to waste. However, it didn't matter. Even without his usual overt traversing of the school building he could get there rather quickly. Soon he was running from the main building to the religious research club building and entering. "Master Lorenzo!" He shouted cheerfully, taking a breath. He was in pain, of course, but he could ignore that. He could get over it.

"And you too Queenie. It's good to see you both." He was usually the type to keep a cheerful attitude if ever possible. Somebody had too. Besides it wasn't like he was just sitting idly by. He would work harder in his own time since the attack than ever. He had to. Even the night of the attack he had begun. Then he saw Zeke. "Oh. And um..." He paused. Good why didn't he pay more attention. This is why people thought he was an idiot. Had he met Zeke? Maybe he had. Wasn't like he actually remembered right now.

Moments after the teen with the orange hair entered, another person appeared before the Religious Research Club building. Regularly, this man was not supposed to be here though circumstances insisted otherwise. Calvin wore his priestly attire which might not be the most wise decision considering who he was meeting but it was all he had. The priest has already set up a base in the local abandoned church and there he left most of his gear. Currently, all he had was his Holy Sword which, again, may not be a wise decision considering who he was meeting.

Calvin took a huge inhale before approaching the building's door. With his gloved hands, he knocks on the door a few times and patiently waits. He could only hope that the Devils he is to assist does not attack first and ask questions later.

Lorenzo sighed as he tried to think but then Tsuruko came and gave him some tea and he nodded thank you Tsuruko He said knowing Zeke was here and along with his pawn who came in half hazard as usual and of course he didn't remember Zeke's name so he said good to have you here lord Zeke. sorry I cant be more accommodating. Shinichi do me a favor and open the door, and don't attack who is behind it for the time being he is on our side Lorenzo said knowing the feeling of a priest anywhere. Lorenzo took a breath and tried to relax as he turned to Zeke so lord Zeke can I expect you to be ready for the rating game later on? even though I only have a queen and a pawn im sure I can come up with a strategy to beat you Lorenzo said giving a small smile at the thought of being the underdog and winning it all, almost every movie made is based on that ideal.

Shinichi laughed a bit. "Ah, sorry sorry." He said calmly to Zeke before bowing quickly. "I didn't mean any disrespect Lord Zeke." He said calmly before standing up straight. He was about to turn back to Lorenzo when he heard the order. "Right away." He said simply as he walked to the door. He didn't understand why Lorenzo would give such an order. Maybe he was kidding him. Still, he shrugged as he reached the door and grabbed the knob. He turned it slowly and pulled the door open. "Gah!" He shouted in shock his leg immediately coming upward in the form of a kick to the head of what appeared to be a priest, though he stopped. His foot wasn't very far from the mark. He had been told not to attack. Obviously, if the man counter attacked, which was well within his rights, he would move back. "I'm sorry. So sorry." He said quickly in a hurried tone both to the guest and his King. "I was surprised. That's all."

Tsuruko raised one eyebrow at the "guest" of her lord's a interesting one to say the least a priest by all means would not normally go to a known devil for a peaceful meeting. Sensing that a long meeting was probably going to happen she excused herself for a bit to fix some kind of refreshments for the people. "What a fragile moment of peace this is going to be" She muttered she would serve her lord that was for sure but the fact that she was having a meeting with not only Lord Zeke but also a Priest unnerved her a bit. With a small breath she calmed herself she was not only the queen piece for her lord but she was a hero descendant she would be able to stand up to any threat to her lord that a single priest my pose. With those thoughts in her mind she stepped out a tray of tea for the others before placing it down on the table she than moved to previous spot but her Youkai forged katana was out with her hands resting on its pommel.

The door opened and what greeted Calvin was a upward kick forcing the priest to lean backwards to evade it but fortunately the attack stopped midway.

"I'm sorry. So sorry. I was surprised. That's all."

The orange-haired teen apologized which was enough for Calvin. With a sigh, he told the Devil student. "No one is harmed so there is nothing to worry." He then added. "Your sharpness is commendable though.

The room had several Devils inside. Three males including the one who almost attacked him and a female with long hair who excused herself away. Calvin wondered if that had something to do with him. Returning to business, he cleared his throat before announcing. "I am an agent of the Vatican and I seek Sir Lorenzo Armadas." He then further explained. "We have reports that an attack had been staged against the Devils in this area. The Vatican wishes to know more and be dealt with should the reasons be... unreasonable."

Lorenzo sighed as The priest explained what he was doing here and Lorenzo put his hand up that would be me. I also wish I could tell you more then they attacked my house and now I want to send them down to hell for it. Right now im running myself ragged trying to figure it out myself so unless you have clues as to who or what they are I have nothing more to give you Lorenzo said rubbing his eyes and drinking some more of his tea to calm himself and try to relax...

With his apology accepted and nothing much else to do Shinichi leaned back against a wall and watched. However, he was quickly losing focus and beginning to nod off. This serious stuff wasn't really his thing. His king could handle Zeke and preparations for the rating game and the priest. And should he need anything, he would only need to call on his pawn or queen. It would be quick. Thus, when a pause came after Lorenzo brief went over their lack of knowledge of the recent incident he stepped forward. "If you'll excuse me sir. I think you have things covered here. So I would like permission to head to the back and do some personal training." He asked calmly. Just outside. He wouldn't stray too far. Not incase something happened. And it would be wise to avoid being along, less he be attacked again.

Tsuruko stood back and watched things was pretty odd to say the least as she watched Shinichi leave the area. It was probably for the best she assumed since he was a hair trigger and going to "train" would be for the best all things considered. Still remaining quite she kept her body somewhat tense to move at a moments noticed in case someone attacked it was her duty to protect her lord first and foremost therefore she should be at his side should anything go wary. Still she let out a small sigh with how things are it was a odd sort of thing she supposed as she watched as the silence created by the pawn remained strong probably to the point where she could have cut it with her sword she mused.

"I see." Calvin replied. "Forgive me Lord Armadas but we too lack information regarding the attackers."

"Also, the Vatican encourages cooperation and so..." Calvin then pulls out a quite old and outdated cellphone. "There is only one number there. Call it if you wish to issue orders or to summon me." He gave the cellphone. "It can also act as a homing beacon if need be. Simply call."

"Now then. Are there any places you think I can begin to find our enemies?"

Lorenzo sighed a little letting his pawn go out to train as his queen stayed behind him and the priest talked about how they had little information to go on as well, this didn't make any sense to Lorenzo. If they were attacking a noble house then shouldn't they have caused some trail to follow them from? Lorenzo soon took the phone that the priest offered him and he nodded in understanding I thank you for this, ill be sure to call if we need help. As far as I know about places to start searching you could look in the places where they attacked. They had an omnioji with them so if you can figure out where they would get her shinigmai from then maybe it will lead you to them. I cant leave and I cant send my pawn or my queen to investigate Lorenzo said softly thinking it would be a good a place as any since the Vatican had more man power and resources at their disposal then Lorenzo did...

Tsuruko kept silent as she watched the proceedings it was something she had no point in joining in for. Rather it really served no point at all she wasn't attached to the situation as a whole. Meaning any input she had would probably lead into failure after all with something like this it was more along the lines of how was the saying again "it was out of her court?" she believed. With that said she just watched on silently as she tried to gather what exactly needed to be done. They as a whole couldn't do much they lacked enough people to really do much out in the open and the church or at least this one person seemed to interested even with stray exorcists they never put this much effort into it. Meaning as a whole something more was going on and there was nothing she could do about it.

Once he was outside, Shinichi sighed. "Things always get so boring when serious things like this happen." He said calmly to himself as he began to practice his form on a few different martial arts stances. Punches with force enough to send a burst of wind with each one thrown, and kicks that could slice through the air with each swing. After a few moments he stopped. "Guh... I should be better than this..." He spoke to himself feeling a painful sting. He should be doing more. He should be out searching for the those that dared attack him, his queen, his King. But no. He was here. "Isn't it the pawns job to go out and play a part like this? Even if they get hurt... Aren't they expendable?" He question his role as he forced himself to continue his little workout. Obviously he was pulling back in comparison to his usual workings.

As an unknown aura entered the Building Zeke stayed quiet for a while.
The man was a priest, and as it seemed he was honest judging by his aura, regardless Zeke had nothing much to fear from the man as far as he figured but he felt like keeping a low profile so he just kept playing with his chess pieces.

The layout was odd, his side had a king, queen, knight, bishop, rook and a pawn
the other one had 2 pawns, king and queen
all at their starting positions.

Completely ignoring the priest he spoke to Lorenzo once the priest left the room.
"So, have you decided on the game type yet or would you rather I think of one?" He said.
While they had decided on a rating game, the game itself had not come up yet due to the recent attack.
"depending on we may get a more balanced out match where all members can participate, otherwise..." after saying that he grabbed 2 random pieces "I need a small contest of participates..."
He then turned to Lorenzo "off course that much could be irrelevant if you want to challenge yourselves when outnumbered"

"Your wrong you know" a female voice spoke to Shinichi.
A japanese looking woman exited from between the tree's as she looked at the guy training his stances.
"Pawns can promote, meaning they have more value then just getting sacrificed and I am sure Loranzo wont like it when one of his peers feel like he is expendable."

The woman walked close to the guy, not really scared or anything, yet she kept smiling.
"My name is Moena, Moena Sasumi, and you?"

Lorenzo sighed a little drinking the last of his tea as Zeke spoke of their rating game, in all honesty it was the only good event that was to come. Despite how its a battle of houses it was still known to be a good way to train ones pieces against combat without loosing them in a real fight. Lorenzo would go mad if anyone ever did take away a member of his house.

Lorenzo went to the chair in front of Zeke where a chessboard laid and he put all his pieces on the board showing the glowing green pawn pieces and the queen and himself as the king piece. if you don't mind I think id rather have a even numbered fight, since I only have 4 pieces then you should use only 4 pieces. The recent fight showed me that my house needs to get better at taking on skilled opponents, as some people would say " I might be outnumbered but your outgunned". I want my house to be as good as that so bring whoever you wish as long as its even between us Lorenzo said thinking it was a fair compromise and would provide a much more thrilling fight...

"Hm?" Shinichi looked up to see the origin of the female voice. "Woah... I didn't even know you were there..." He stood up straight and facepalmed. Either he was terrible at this, which was highly unlikely. Or she was on a level he hadn't reached, and very good at hiding her presence. Wait... That wasn't what he should be concentrating on. Who was she? This woman. She seemed to know quite a bit. Maybe a piece here with Lord Zeke? Given the way she was talking that was most likely the case. He could relax a bit. Right? Well... He'd find out. "Well... They explained things like chess. All I really know about chess is the little things. So, of course, I'd think like that. A pawn is like a foot soldier isn't it? Send them in first?" He stepped back a bit as she approached until he was at the wall and just leaned against it. She was close.

"Even if I'm wrong Moena... As King Lorenzo's Pawn I should be much better than I am now. I'm not strong enough. I got injured and just barely defeated my opponent." He explained his feeling to this stranger. Why did he do that? He hadn't even introduced himself. Oh crap... He hadn't introduced himself. "Sorry for my rudeness." He said quickly standing up straight again before her. "My name is Shinichi. Shinichi Masamune. It's nice to meet you." He would have bowed or something to show respect and apologize for his rudeness, but she was a bit too close for that.
