My only complaints have to be... That there are no sad emoticons, leaving or joining messages.

This thing only displays the people who have marked the thingy visible in their profiles, right? *glares*

Also, why is the Roleplayerguild "R" suddenly a notepad symbol?

And why not use the single-letter abbreviations instead of the weird two-letter ones?

Oddly enough, it decided to turn back into the "R" for me (on the tabs). The notebook-symbol looks very generic to me. Even more generic than the "R", seeing how several pads and programs I use also use variations of the notebook-symbol (to the point where it looks a bit indistinguishable amongst other tabs, though in part it is due to decreased amount of color).

I agree; the R distinguished it among others.

@Mahz

I think a good addition to RPG would be a mechanic where co-GM's can edit the first post of the OOC. Currently I am co-GMing an RP where I create lots of content, and will also keep creating content as long as I see fit. However it's a hassle to have to send it to the OP owner every time I need to add something, or change something, or simply update something or correct mistakes.

Something like this should/could be optional, to tag for a GM. I can imagine GM's who assign a random person in their RP the glorious task of co-GMing might feel a bit like it's a risk, so therefore I imagine it should be enabled/disabled. However I feel like the pro's to this (faster working for co-GM's that are heavily involved) outweighs the risks, especially if it's an option.

That brings me to a second suggestion, which is a 'version' system that saves the last (three?) versions of an OOC first post. Having this would be another safeguard, but probably also be useful in case you accidentally edit something out without realizing. Using a rollback will be useful to regain things that you might have lost but it can also be useful just for consistency, in case you want to look back at something or anything of that sorts.

I can imagine the second suggestion being a bit obscure and I don't really think it's neccesary, but the first one is IMHO very much so neccesary as it's becoming a bit of a pain to do it all manually by PMing the OP owner the code for whatever I made, having to wait for them to add it and then eventually fix grammar mistakes, spelling mistakes, or content mistakes. Having the ability to edit that first post would be very appreciated.

I guess the only reason this couldn't be done is if it conflicts with the abilities of the board but I suppose then in that case nobody can really help that. Then again you have enabled co-GM's to edit the thread name, tags and other stuff already, I don't see why this wouldn't be enabled for the first post. Also, sorry if this has been suggested a million times and you've told them off already, but I figured good suggestions get suggested a lot more than bad ones.

@Partisan. It is on the list of planned features. Or rather, an editable "0th" post is planned, where the GM and any CoGMs can edit at will.

Such a system will naturally need a memory of sort, what form that takes exactly has yet to be determined, but it will no doubt remember several versions and a certain timeframe backwards.

@Ellri Alright that sounds slick, is there an ETA for this or is this just 'it comes when it comes?'

@Partisan Thanks for spelling it out. It helps me to hear grueling pain-points since it's the only taste I get.

As Ellri said, earlier in this thread I proposed an idea for implementing a special post shared between GMs/co-GMs as the "0th" post for each tab with its own revision history.

In the meantime, I might be able to think of a quick hack that at least frees you from round-tripping through the PM system. Might be most sensible to hack a revision system onto the post system at large (for all users) and the let GMs toggle on a "co-GMs can edit my OPs" switch.

Just want to add that the new chat works like absolute garbage on mobile. It unselects the text bar whenever I send a message (either by clicking Send or using the Go button on the keyboard) and zooms into the text bar whenever I reselect it because that's how Chrome treats text fields.

It's possible neither of these things are easy to fix (or there are options in Chrome itself I have to tinker with) but I thought you should know (up to date Chrome on a Galaxy Note 2).

Nice job on the face lift by the way.

@Hank Thanks. I'll fix it up when I do a pass through with my phone.

It's definitely mobile-hostile until I do a few basic things.

It appears that if you use Firefox on mobile, it in fact keeps the text field selected. Both when you're pressing enter to send messages and when you use the send button. It appears to format to 2/5 of my screen being the on-screen keyboard and 3/5 being the chat window above it ... which is about ideal.
So... it is definitely mobile Firefox friendly.

This would probably take time to implement and you probably already had plans to do this at some point in the future, so I guess rather than suggesting I'm asking for an ETA on separate tabs or group chats on the new chat? Similar to how PMing on the IRC works but with the ability to add multiple people so it can be used for RP's and the like. Also if this had crossed your mind could the new rooms be permanent or on such a system would you have to make a new room each time? I imagine player made permanent IM rooms for the guild chat would be quite a hefty task but I don't know coding.

This didn't work for me either. It also lags like a motherfucker on Firefox, especially when typing.
