Edited my char, patch notes as follows:

Changed name. Linric has become Alaric in an effort toward alphabetical balance.
I added a skill in the skill set, making Alaric more "in the know" in the area of magic
I added a new title, more out of jest than anything else, but it could come to be more of an influence later.
Edited minor sentences in the Relationships area, and added Leytan and Landar to it.

Finally added all the relationships for Nasharia, sorry if it is a bit late! I've made them detailed to compensate. If anyone has any problems or think I've misunderstood their character a tad, please let me know and we can edit accordingly.

Awwwh man I was hoping that Ephraim and Leytan would be buds. Ah well, I respect this choice, it should be fun.

Yeah, everyone's good to go. The important thing here is to really just get the RP rolling a bit. The way I see it, the idea is that they have to unravel why their predecessors were killed and dig into what killed them a bit. I mean, I alluded to physical evidence including burning and horrific forms and all that, so it probably is dredging up Malezus.

That, of course, is the point.

Not necessary, except tp reference it. What Kanros went through is an example. What Ephraim went through is probably more the norm -- he had Anu do it and there was a bunch of incense and chanting and he didn't understand a damned word of it. ;)

That's kind of how Daran religion and state often rolls.

That would be great. The elven duelist versus the human monk.

I already love the tensions building between the characters.

I've made my first IC post but have yet to update the relationships. I'll get to them this afternoon, though for those that have posted so far you should have some hint of what they will say after reading my IC post. Sorry it's a bit short, I plan to make my next post significantly longer.

Incidentally, the lictors are teenaged for the most part. Page-to-squire age. The Roman version were often plebes or veterans of the legion, but I feel that this variation worked as a sort of court-attendant to the Guardians.

I'm going to make my next post after a few more people have a chance to make one of their own. Should we try to keep this posting order or should we just post whenever we feel like it? I sort of feel like we should have a semi-enforced posting order (which can be overriden whenever really) just to prevent the situation where everyone is waiting for the other person to post. Thoughts?

I've never much liked an enforced posting order, and I feel it's even more unnecessary with HeySeuss's GMing style. Let conversations develop between characters organically instead of stifling possible, sensible reactions just because someone has to wait for three more people to post and change the situation first.
