The Kin Bane – 1884 – Wild West
The year is 1884 and you are living in the Wild West of the American Frontier; the land is harsh and the people harsher. People are slowly moving from the East and trying to make new lives for themselves but some things we wished we could leave behind follow us like a plague; wherever humanity lives, so does the Kin, and they are hunted for their blood, their flesh and their life force by creatures that are whispered about around campfires and found in the darkest of nightmares. And yet those tales are nothing compared to the real thing and few have lived to tell the tale.
Our story begins in the Southern portion of the Dakota Territory in a little known town called Brogden, population: A whopping 300; a veritable metropolis. ;) You are your average every day citizen just trying to survive in the Wild West; which in and of itself is not an easy task. Nothing has happened to you personally as of yet but travelers on their way to Rapid City in the Black Hills have been speaking in hushed voices of unnatural things happening out in the great plains.
You will be tasked with finding out just what is going on. How and why are up to you but chose wisely for the undead are unforgiving.

Your character has to follow the posted CS format for ease of reference for all
You character must be human
All weapons and tech must have been around in 1884
No more than 4 weapons – no weapons can be specialized to start with for “kin killin” – 4 knives count as 4 weapons
All skills must be listed – even things like swimming, horseback riding, etc. – if it is not listed your character has no advanced knowledge of how to do it or use it.
No Anime Pics
Your character may have no knowledge of Kin – there are passing rumors but you know nothing outright unless revealed to your character personally in the RP. (Sorry, no previous kin hunters - end of story)
Character needs to have a skill that could be useful to the “cause”
No magic, shamens, etc. Basic classes.
I know all that seems a bit overbearing but I am really trying to cut off any metagaming before it even starts. There is a method to the madness. Just try to imagine you are building a true to life character for a normal wild west historical RP, it will make it simpler. Don’t worry, it will work out and play well.

Edit:(July 24) - Forgot to add, romance can happen and I have nothing against it but one - no creating an npc just to have romance, you're better than that. Don't force it, romances suck when you do that. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. (If romance does happen take smut to pm please)
