Lol twas a nice touch. Now did you have an end-game plan here? Cuz despite the upperhand she had in the beginning, I can only see Deon totally wrecking her lol despite her being a female, he only cares about winning - more so than trying to get laid :p Im totally fine with her getiing in some good shots, maybe even break something or draw blood, but I think for the sake of his character he needs to win. Thoughts?

I thought we might have this issue. Elizabeth is honestly the same way. I wouldn't be able to say I roleplayed this character the right way if I planned for her to lose. Both of these guys are established on very similar brain waves and personas. And while he does have muscle mass on his side, she has flexibility and a metal cage to do the damage for her. Now, we could drag this on forever until one of us finally wins, a battle of the brains and characters, or we can seek a compromise. I'm very open to ideas.

Because if it really comes down to it, that jacket and her jeans have had aluminum pouches of her favorite tool (Devil's Breath) just in case she starts losing. Because that is the way that character is. And I understand that both me and you would rather not start our character with a loss under the belt. I was kind of expecting a raid to stop that, but, well... that fell through. Ideas?

I would say, "Hey! Let my character help!" She's kind of useless in this arena, though (puns). She is going to wonder why nobody stops the madness, but the best she could be is a pitiful distraction.

Unless you like that kind of thing.. I know that neither of your personas would accept defeat before death. So if I can help let me know

That is an idea that could potentially set Kat in motion, both to protect the poor Alpha and end a violent bout. That is, if both @YoshiSkittlez and @Sypherkhode822 agreed to the idea.

It really ups the amount of character interaction, while allowing each person to roleplay their persona as they'd like.

I'd be down. Kat would take out the NPCrook, and then, after calling in the rookies, would turn to walk away when Lev's character begged me to save the two fighting. Kat would throw them both into lockup, and then she could drive Lev's character home, since they're both living in district 4.

All sounds good except the assumption they will be locked up. ;)

Well, you know, they can both be in the squadcar with the rookies, and then tag team the rookies, knocking them out, and then landing somewhere, escaping from the two youngest cops in the city.

If we get in the squadcar. Nothing can be assumed when interacting with another character.

Alrighty, let's hold on everyone and try to sort this one out a bit.

While I do understand where you're coming from, I think honestly Deon would win this fight. I was looking over both Character Sheets and Elizabeth's doesn't mention anything on fighting experience - at least in hand-to-hand. Now, if it were an accuracy contest or something like that, I could see her pulling an advantage as the sheet mentions her learning to use firearms while Deon's doesn't. However, Deon's been fighting in the Spit for an extended amount of time, is currently the top-tier fighter in the cage matches and has been regularly using Hand of the Devil for just about a year (if my math is correct - which it usually isn't :P). Under those circumstances, I don't see how he couldn't beat her. Could she land a couple punches in? Of course, the guy's not super fast or anything, and no one's trying to weaken yours, or Yoshi's character in any way. It's just pitting two specific characters together and figuring out a solution by going over their individual skills and experiences.

Deon's CS doesn't mention Hand of the Devil usage. And if it does, Elizabeth's CS also mentions she uses it to kill some of her targets, meaning she is used to dealing with those under its influence.

Next, Deon's CS mentions no formal training and labels him as undefeated, meaning out from the gate, he had the skillset he does now. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is a trained hitman, and while I make no direct mention of fighting skills, I also didn't for firearm usage, so your assumption on my superior accuracy would be incorrect.

Finally, I in person am a 134 lb. skinny male, who has had the experience of pinning a 212 lb Male based not on skills or strength but logical application of force and his own self confidence.

What I am getting at is, if we continue the fight, I believe that it would be more based off of roleplayer ability than character. They are actually quite equal. No Elizabeth cannot land the blows, and is at a disadvantage in the cage. However, this scenario also opens up with her getting likely first hits and Deon worn down, if by a miniscule, in the fight not minutes ago, where he took hits.

Alright, so this might come across as bias since he is my character (who've I've had and developed on over a year now as this is a not-so-technical revamp of the roleplay between Ghost, Mach and I) but this is what I'm putting down.

Fact - Deon is the reigning champ cage fighter of The Spit and has never lost a match.

However, his CS clearly states that he didn't always fight at The Spit, actually he has only been there for a year. The years prior were his 'training' years and yeah, the kid lost a lot but he grew from it. If that didn't come across that way I apologize. Case and point, he definitely knows his way around a fist fight, between fast skinny guys, and enormous behemoths. The dude has been fighting almost every day, multiple times for the last year in his hot streak.

In hindsight, I probably should have made some mention to his use of Hand of the Devil. However in my defense in the OP under the drugs description, it does mention that it can change the user physically such as the color of their eyes and I have alluded to his drug usage by stated a few times now that his eye color is unnaturally golden/yellow. Like I said though, it was vague. Truly I didn't think it would be a problem so soon in the RP and was going to go into a flashback about how he started at The Spit and how he got on the drugs (I even already have it typed out). So that one was on me. Apologies.

Also, story-wise... I mean, it just doesn't really make sense to me for the 'king' to be dethroned within the first few minutes of a story being told. Where is the buildup? The climax? The character connection? Deon loses once and that's it, my character's strong point is done. As I stated to Sypher earlier, oh yeah, there is definitely going to be some Deon knockout time for you - for everyone really. As GM, what I'm doing with Deon is almost the opposite of what everyone else is doing with their character to set up interesting story arcs down the road. I started him up on top, and he will end on bottom - just like any good 'hero'/'villain' story.

I love your character, and I admire what she's about, truly I do. But from a story stand-point and by comparing their CS strengths against one another (an extremely seasoned hand-to-hand fighter against a well-rounded hitman), right now, at this point and time, she can't win. I would be willing to take a vote from the others within the RP and get their insight, as they hold no bias but their own, but that is up to them. But like I said, this does not mean that Deon won't ever be defeated, ever. He's got whats coming to him very, very soon and I would definitely not be opposed to the idea of a rematch where she just totally and completely hands him his ass... but at the right time with the proper amount of buildup to make it all the more satisfying.

So, to everyone... thoughts?

@Heat Seeing as how our characters aren't straight up in things, perhaps our opening IC posts could be connected. You're an up and coming dealer, it'd make sense for a Crime family to have an interest one way or the other.

Nevermind, just saw you're also at the Spit.

Is anyone not?

Hey man, again, I had a feeling this situation would come about. My step into that cage was based on the idea that a raid was to go down. I had no plans of dethroning. This is why I recommended an alternative, as I knew you wouldn't want him to lose his championship this early.

As for assumptions and all, I had my moments too. I should have gone into greater detail on Elizabeth's training. She has no firearm experience, only physical capability and knowledge on drugs. I d like to make that edit, and will let you know when its done. I have also been operating on a mini-storyline, which I had hoped to reveal over the course of the fight, in which Elizabeth's actions tonight were a six year long climax to a plan for vengeance because she lost her first job's pay on a bet against a newcomer. She planned to train until she was ready, then beat up the fighter and get her money back. Again, I apologize for not at least revealing it to the GM. It would have made things easier.

So, let's all take heed of wise king Solomon: cut Deon and Elizabeth in half, and fuse the four halves into an Elizeon and Deobeth Frankenstein horror, and make them fight make it a tie. Or make Kat interrupt the fight.
I'm personally torn on this matter, since I know that badass hitmen can kick major ass, and I also know that Deon is much taller, and probably outweighs Elizabeth by at least 50 pounds, and knows how to beat the shit out of opponents in a situation exactly like this.
So let's just put this issue to the side, and we can come back to it later, once we've explored the potentials of all these characters. Yoshi is promising us some very delicious Deon-punch-a-fest action soon enough, so Dymion, if you really hate Deon that much, you only have to wait a little while longer.

That is all fair, and thank you for discussing that with me professionally. I am not here to start fights, as I am more than sure you are not either. So now the question stands, how do we fix this? I am open for suggestions, however it can't involve with Deon getting arrested. His time with the law isn't quite there yet... but SOON

Honestly, I think we could outrun them. Kat has on some nice, fancy armor, and two rookies. Deon and Elizabeth know the streets pretty well, likely. Whatya say? ;)
