Well in the interest of involving everyone...

Shall we decide exactly how far the infection has spread? I pondered on the infection having spread across the United States and most of the Americas, with the exception of some rural areas and some countries in South America. There may be a number of military bases dotted in the most remote locations, with enough high security to hold the land for a while.

The infection is likely to have spread overseas through carriers and infected holiday makers. Might have been some plane crashes. A few or many countries within Europe could be infected, whether in the early stages or not; we can decide how fast the infection spreads.

Thoughts so far?

I quite like the idea of the United States and the Americas being overrun with the exception of a few rural areas etc <.< What if we had it that some of Europe has been overrun but that the majority of Europe have been able to keep the infection at bay for now? Of course the infected are getting smarter so the line could be constantly being pushed back :S

Just think it might be an interesting twist if our characters eventually found out there is somewhere safe but getting there could be a mission and a half.

I remember Rarity originally wanting the rate of infection to differ between people so that you were never quite sure how much time an infected person had before they turned. Are we sticking to that? It would tie in quite nicely with your ideas @teapotshark ^^ But could be changed as well >.>

Also, @Silver Fox did you want me to hold off posting until CatDog has reacted to the situation or go ahead and put something up in the IC? :S

@FaithsRose Yeah, we'll stay with Rarity's idea, it makes a lot of sense to me. I like the idea of the infection continuing to spread and forcing the safe zone in Europe farther back.

This gives @PrettyWings a chance to feed some information to Blaine, should they chose to. Meanwhile Tony will begin planning a means to establishing a comm. line as soon as everyone's out of the horde.

Apologies for the delay in posting :/ My work hours this week have been/are all over the place and trying to find time to do anything else is challenging >.< I've been trying to distribute my free time fairly but unwelcome RL problems just keep popping up and its not working out as well as I'd have hoped :(

Hope what I've put up is okay! I cannot apologise enough for the first half of that post >.< My brain is just mush at the moment and that was the only bit I hadn't finished <.<' It should at least be enough to move on from ^^'

I have a friend staying with me this weekend so I'll try to write a post asap but forgive me if it's a little late. I know at least Chris would have pulled our weeping pregnant woman with her.

Okay! A little bit late but I got there in the end.

To catch up: our favourite band of unlucky survivors are more or less surrounded by walkers, save the little path Chris and Tony just created. Weeping Mama is dead and gone and we'll all feel guilty about that later. (I see more Chris/Cat conflict in the future!) One of the two Runners is still alive and probably engaging Mercy, Kaylah, Cat and Dog. They just have to kill him, break through a little wall of undead and they're home free.

Chris and Tony are going to try hacking their way through said wall of undead. Just to make it even harder, Tony has left his pistol on the ground somewhere near the other four.

Also a little note, feel free to assume minor actions my characters might take if you need to get your characters or the plot moving for any reason, or hit me up with a question if you're unsure.

I'm thinking we should be up in the maintenance hallways by the end of this round of posts.
