History:

Chris never got along with her parents. During her childhood she was described as a sweet and innocent little angel, and her parents sure held her to that as she grew up. In her teenage years rebellion seemed like a delicious idea. She committed a few minor crimes and charmed her way into a mere warning or simple community service. Breaking the rules quickly became her favourite thing to do.

Tony's parents were friends with hers, which meant they met while still very young and long before Chris' rebellious “stage”. Noticing the pressure Tony's parents were putting on him to be the family success, she encouraged him to break away and do his own thing. When his family disinherited him, Chris had his back. They were one another's only true friend, and they looked out for each other. Though neither would admit it aloud, they considered themselves siblings.

Frequently kicked out of home, she spent a lot of time with her grandfather. The man was paranoid and often spouted off conspiracy theories or some-such. He kept a rifle in his room, which just so happened to go missing every once in a while, around about the same time Chris would disappear with her friends overnight. Grandpa never seemed to notice.

Approaching adulthood, her rebelliousness started to calm down. While she did the odd job for a bit of cash, Tony went to college on a partial scholarship. Grandpa never asked for rent, so she helped Tony make up loose ends. In return, he pushed her to find her calling. After a bout of trial and error, Chris eventually found her place in public service.

When the outbreak hit, she was off-duty and Tony was studying at home. Unwilling to abandon her grandfather, the pair lagged behind during the preliminary evacuations. Her grandfather lasted less than a day. Chris and Tony just barely escaped their district before it became overrun. Though they teamed up with survivors in the past, they are alone now. They always stick together.

Personal Goal:

Keep Tony alive and find somewhere safe to stop running.

Trivia:

• Chris met with a band of survivors at a farmhouse, but was forced to abandon it after a week when they were attacked. She has since travelled to a city with the remaining survivors.
• She has a shoddy knee from suffering an injury while fleeing her home town at the start of the outbreak.
• She's in the closet, not that it matters these days.

History:

Anthony was the oldest of two sons and the heir to a large fortune. He grew up learning how to run a business from his father, but never desired to carry on his father's legacy. But all Tony wanted to do was build computers and play with hardware. As a child and a teenager he admired his best friend, Chris, for her extroverted personality and overall attitude. He spent his high school years doing everything that was expected of him, save the occasional rebellious act – roped in by Chris – which he kept carefully hidden from his parents.

His first college application had him headed in the same direction, but as his desire to do something independent with his life grew stronger and the pressure to do as he was told weighed in, Chris convinced him to live his own life. When he told his parents he was not going to do what they wanted for him, they disinherited him. His younger brother was more than glad to take his place, and Tony re-applied for college with his own aspirations in mind.

Living with his best friend and doing what he wanted, even though money and guaranteed success was a distant memory, was Tony's idea of a dream life. Chris was to thank for it, having given him the guts to speak up, so he returned the favour. He helped her find the purpose in her own life, or at least seek a career she would enjoy. He was never happier than he was with Chris, her grandfather and their basement of computer parts.

After the outbreak and Grandpa Miller's infection, Tony shot and killed him to save Chris from having to do so. Despite doing it with everyone's best interests in mind, Tony still feels incredibly guilty about it.

Personal Goal:

Restore communications in order to find other survivors and learn more about what happened.

History:

Ellie-May was born in Tulwa, Alabama, a small town near Montgomery. Ellie-May was not expected to have lived, considering her mother had problems reproducing and had lost the baby before her. As such, Ellie-May grew up being coddled by her parents, and experienced a very close relationship with them. With her mother, she would play board games – as her mother had an intense love for board games – and Ellie-May went hunting with her father. On game nights, they would invite the neighbors over and deck out in Auburn colors, yelling at the TV for hours, and on Sundays they went to church like the good Christians they were. Ellie-May almost always lived up to their expectations, and when she didn’t, they quickly forgave her.

Ellie-May was always known as the sweet girl at school, who diligently did her work, helped anyone when they needed, and was always willing to volunteer to help teachers with something. However, she was also known for having a hot-temper that led to her getting into fights often with girls – she’s tried on occasion to fight a boy, but they always laughed her off to her annoyance. In her sophomore year of high school, Ellie-May was almost expelled from school, but just barely escaped it with a three-day suspension. After that, her parents began taking her to anger management classes and the fights lessened, though there was the occasional brawl here and there.

Because of her father, Ellie-May was very much into hunting at a young age. It was around the age of eleven that she handled her first gun, thirteen when she actually managed to shoot something. She became an avid hunter and went hunting every Saturday in deer season, even going as far as to wake up at four in the morning in order to get a good spot in the trees. On her twelfth birthday, Ellie-May received a male Pointer puppy that she named Oswald. She trained the dog to hunt small game and often brought him along when she was hunting for ducks or something of that sort.

The summer before Ellie-May’s senior year, her mother told the family that she was pregnant. The family was excited with the prospect of having a second child, but had reserves considering her mother’s history. Nevertheless, they took extra precaution and made sure to eat right, exercise, and visit the doctor as much as possible.

The virus broke out when Ellie-May was a senior in high school. Thankfully, because they were in a small, sort of remote town, they got the news before the virus reached the town. The Lewis family locked up the house, staying guard every day and night. They stocked up on canned foods and had been prepared. They lasted a week, a week of hearing the moans of the dead at their door.

It was in the middle of the night and Ellie-May had fallen asleep when she was supposed to be on watch. She woke up to a crack, startled she looked around and realized her father was missing as well as the gun he slept with. Picking up her gun, she edged around the hallway and looked into the kitchen where the backdoor was. Her father was there, staring in horror at the backdoor. The screen door had a gaping hole in it and the outer wooden door, which had been bolted and had been boarded up, was completely ripped from the house from the outside. One of the undead clawed its way into the kitchen, towards her father who began shooting, but his hands were shaking too much from fright. Ellie-May couldn’t move out of fright and when her father saw her, he mouthed to her to get her mother and run. Ellie-May rushed out and woke up her mother, dragging her to the front door. Then, they heard a shot and a strangled scream, then silence. Entering the room, the duo saw him leaning over the table and panting. Shakily, he looked up, and raised his hand with his gun in it, pressing it to his temple. Crying, he pulled the trigger.

Mother and daughter both just stood there for a minute, frozen in shock and pure misery. Then, as if she were electrocuted, Ellie-May’s mother began moving around the house, gathering things into two bags while Ellie-May just stood there. When her mother was on the second floor, Ellie-May crawled towards her father and sobbed when she found the bite mark on his forearm.

Ellie-May and her mother left Tulwa, Alabama that night with Oswald following them, keeping a nose out for the undead. They haven’t talked about that night since.

History:

Stephanie Smith was born in Miami, Florida and lived there for the majority of her childhood. When she was eighteen, she moved to Tulwa, Alabama for her father’s work. There she met Henry Lewis at a coffee shop. At first, she was unimpressed with his horrible puns and tobacco-chewing self, but through the months she fell in love with him. When she was nineteen years old, they married and she converted from Catholicism to Christianity. For one unsuccessful year, they tried for a baby due to her strong maternal instinct, but it proved fruitless. Until, finally, when she just turned twenty-one, she found out she was pregnant. They were excited and overjoyed. They turned Henry’s office into a baby room and splurged on baby stuff. Nine months later, Henry Jr. Carter Lewis was born dead. Heartbroken, Stephanie became a hermit for several long months, rarely moving. Then, one day, her period was late and she ran to the store and took a pregnancy test in the bathroom stall. She was pregnant! Her miracle baby, a baby not expected to live, was born nine months later, when she was twenty-three.

The now complete family lived in peace for eighteen years, and Stephanie had even become pregnant once more. Their peace was shattered when the virus broke out, they holed themselves up in their home. Then, one night, Stephanie was shaken awake by her daughter with a panicked look in her eye. Without a word, they moved towards the door, when they heard a shot and noise ceased. They moved into the kitchen and Stephanie felt instant relief in her heart when she saw her husband safe and sound. And then he raised his gun and pressed it to his temple, slamming his finger on the trigger and crumbled to the ground. Stephanie was in absolute shock. She couldn’t move, she couldn’t think, but then…she heard the rattling breath of her daughter next to her. As if she snapped back into a mindless mother mode, she began moving around the house packing things into bags. She kept an ear out for any undead that might enter the house, but the undead had been particularly slow that night. When she was finished packing two bags, one for her daughter and one for herself, she grabbed her daughter’s hand and led her silently into the garage. They entered her truck, waited for her daughter’s dog to get into the car, before they drove off, never stopping for anything and keeping the headlights off.

She never looked at his body and she never allowed herself to spare a thought on it ever again, instead moving on autopilot.

Has a silver necklace with a simple round pendant with the words 'Lidon' engraved on it, usually tucked under his shirt.Has a carved in cut scar reading 666 on his left shoulder.

Occupation Pre-Outbreak: Thug.

Weapons and Supplies: Prefers melee combat, especially hand to hand. Wears a pair of gloves with some metal around the knuckles to deal damage. A metal pipe, a pocket knife, a bottle of water, and five protein bars.

History: Cat was born in the world of dark alleys of New York along with his twin sister. Born secretly among a gang, him and his sibling grew up as thugs. They never met their parents, nor did Cat care. Their names given as code names instead of actual human names, they were brought up to be the best of the best in stealing, smuggling, and violence. Cat fit in with the atmosphere fine, uncaring what he stole or from who since the age of eight. His twin on the other hand had a bit more difficulty. Hard on her, he forced her to do whatever their group wanted, while also making her swear to be a man instead of a weak girl. Believing in order for them to survive, they would have to become men and be the strongest.

As they grew up, they had minimal education, barely able to read and write, but as they grew, so did their jobs. Stealing turned to violence, and Cat reveled in it. Fighting proved his strength, and the suffering of others misfortune felt like something of a reality check for others. Though he got hurt quite a few times since his combat was strictly physical and not with guns, finding getting his hands bloody more thrilling and satisfying.

His twin however mostly only stuck with stealing or practicing first aid and did not share the same depth of passion for violence. Instead his twin dreamed of a normal life. At the ages of twenty, Cat granted his twin's wishes and they ran away, ending up fleeing to LA. After five years in hiding and scrambling for food, the end of the world happened. Their only means of being saved gone, and now it was only them, those behind, and zombies. How thrilling.

Personal Goal: To discover his purpose in life. Survival. Perhaps protecting his twin.

Trivia:
-He's smart and knows plenty of ways to kill. Wisdom comes with insanity.. Or is it the other way around?
-Mostly melee orientated, doesn't seem to care to use range weapons.
-High pain tolerance, seems hardly fazed when injured. Could be because he's so used to pain, or simply enjoys it. Who knows.
-Isn't so willing to listen to others, or show any mercy usually.
-He has very little care for the health of others or himself. So can sometimes do rash actions that could cause even his own and ally harm/death. As long as the body count is high and entertaining, whatever.

○Tony: A mild meek little tech mouse. He has silly ideals, and I'll enjoy seeing his life play out in this chaotic hell. But, I find him mildly interesting. So I'll watch. And perhaps prod and poke at him.

She looks very boyish, hardly actually needing to hide her chest since it's very quite flat and she's mostly just tall and lanky instead of curvy, easily able to get away looking like a boy when wearing just a tank top. Always wears a raggedy dark red scarf around her neck to hide any signs of her non existent Adam's apple. Wears black gloves and holed up brown sneakers. Has a cut in knife scar on the left shoulder reading 667. She wears bandages around her head and covering her right eye, having gotten it heavily injured by a skirmish during the Fuel Run.

History:
Mostly the same as Cat. She grew up as a boy due to her brothers forcement. Being threatened that he would leave her if she didn't become strong like a man. Her twin being the only family, she stuck to him like glue and made sure he didn't go too far in his violent habits. She studied more on first aid, having been used to patching up her brother and fellow gang members. It was more preferable over actual violence or dirty jobs.

Personal Goal:
To help as many people as she can and to be with her brother and keep him from killing as many innocent people as possible.

He made me eat the stray dogs and cats he caught and skinned so I wouldn't starve, he forced me to play as a man so people would be deterred from raping me... Yes, he is cruel and cold, but I know deep down he cares. He even ran away with me from the gang, and stayed with me all this time, not killing anyone in five years like he promised. I just wish I could help him discover humanity, give him the sense of morality. I wish I could even find him love so he would have someone other than me who loves and cherishes him for who he was. But even I don't know if that's possible with the way he is."

History: Mercy is the eldest of 2 she had a younger brother, with a father who was a sought after heart surgeon and a mother who lived a life of luxury. Mercy has never been hard done for in her life, despite never really seeing her parents because they were always out at conventions or playing tennis, she was given money to compensate for their absence. She was basically raised by her nanny, Serena. Serena taught her the ways of the world, preventing her from becoming a typical rich brat. Besides she spent most of her childhood with her nose buried in books, except for the occasional archery or horse riding lesson, even combining the two when she was older.

Mercy met Arian 'Tamashii' Swift when she went to a mainstream high school, despite clashing to begin with the two became near enough inseparable. A typical yin and yang pairing, Mercy tried to keep Ash on the rails though it always ended up with the pair of them getting into trouble. After a while she couldn't keep it hidden from her parents, they carted her off to an expensive all girls boarding school to keep face with their social clicks. Mercy found her love of science among other 'interests' in boarding school, she was particularly drawn to medical science the idea of being able to help people and save lives sat well with her.

She reunited with Arian when she graduated, this lead to her parents disowning her when she refused to severe her connection with Ash and stay with them. Luckily for her Ash was there to catch her, between the pair of them they held down a flat and worked towards getting Mercy into medical school, doing any job they could. Serena kept in close contact with her throughout everything and offered a guaranteed meal for them whenever they needed it. When the infection hit Mercy had just finished a shift waiting tables, she instantly went to Serena meeting up with Ash, they missed the first wave of evacuations but followed closely behind. Serena was an elderly woman by this point and although she tried to keep up, she ended up slowing the two women down.

The trio joined with another group of survivors for a small while, but the group was overrun during the night. Despite her best efforts, Mercy was of little use during the attack she had never had to wield a weapon before, this cost Serena her life when she tried to protect her. Serena’s sacrifice sits heavily on Mercy, Ash stuck by her through it all.

They were both at the farmhouse when it was overrun though Ash was bitten before they could escape. Mercy was unable to end Ash's life though she came up with several ideas on how to save her, each more desperate and far fetched than the last. In the end Cat made the decision for her and finished off Ash before she could turn.
She's still travelling with the small group of survivors as they head into a city.

Personal Goal: Find a cure, create a safe place to gather people - Build a new zombie proof city.

Trivia:

-Mercy has an underlying health problem, Long Q-T Syndrome although its a very mild case symptoms can vary. ((Has an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator that also acts as a pacemaker hidden beneath a small scar under her collarbone on the left hand side of her chest barely visible unless particular attention is being paid to her chest or she points it out))
-She is gay, though doesn't freely admit this to the people around her, believing that just because the world has gone to pot doesn't mean people won't be prejudice.
-She is afraid of the dark.
-She's ambidextrous but favours her left hand.
-She can sing (Quite well) and play the piano though it seems like a useless skill to have now.

History:

Sacqui Shikoba was born into the Pine Ridge Indian reservation, she spent the first eighteen years of her life there with her family. Her mother was a professor at the local school teaching the Lakota language, her father was unemployed though he tried to run a trade which involved making pipe tomahawks and other ceremonial artefacts and symbols. Feather has two younger siblings a sister who married young and remained on the reservation with her husband and a brother who is heavily involved in helping the reservation.

Feather's family often dipped in and out of poverty, though their community spirit hasn't dampened. Growing up Feather spent a lot of time with her father, listening to his stories, learning about her heritage and the spiritual beliefs of her people. She learnt how to do quill-work from her mother, an art which she thoroughly enjoyed, this ultimately led her to find her true calling as a seamstress. Her parents have always known that she is of two-spirits, it wasn't a bother to them and overall has been accepted among her family, though her brother struggles with the concept. During her younger years she helped her community by repairing and altering clothing for her neighbours though as she grew older she wanted to stretch out further and managed to get into a college off of the reservation that specialised in fashion and textiles.

She found herself less interested in the cut throat world of fashion and more into the more subtle side of designing clothes, she managed to survive college and show her potential. She spent a few years working in a small seamstress shop learning the tricks of the trade in her early twenties, during this time she was engaged to a magazine editor and looking at settling down with her own business.

Jump forward to her 26th birthday, the day she finally opened her store, a specialist seamstress business where she specialised in making costumes from the past, clothes with a vintage feel and general repairs. It was also the day her fiancée ended their relationship. Feather was hurt by the entire ordeal but had enough on her plate to keep her occupied throughout and the support of a vast network or friends and family to keep her stable.

She's spent the last three years focusing on driving her business forward and being free to focus solely on herself, perhaps the occasional one night stand here and there...nothing too heavy in the relationship department. During the outbreak she was preparing to return home to her parents for a long weekend to catch up with her family, to be exact she was in her shop making sure everything was in order when chaos hit the streets. Considering her favourite movie is Zombieland and she's got a vivid imagination, she wasn't as unprepared as most and got herself back to her flat pretty quickly to pick up supplies, which included Otaktay and Kohana, the ceremonial pipe tomahawks her father made for her.

Unfortunately not a lot has gone to plan over the past four weeks, she hasn't been able to find a stable group and hasn't made a lot of progress in getting home. She's been a part of a few groups but has been forced to abandon them over time for an assortment of reasons, right now one of her adopted rules has lead her into the mall seeking shelter and supplies.

Personal goal: Avoid becoming Zombie chowder, find a stable group to stay with/use to get home. Follow the 32 rules stated in Zombieland to the best of her ability.

Personality: She is flirty and so being a stripper is great because she can do it and it would not mean anything. She is caring shown by her close ties to her dog that is still alive; she is educated despite being a stripper, geeky and friendly. Background:
Her mother was a stripper and so her daughter became a stripper though she started much earlier. Her first strip was at a friend’s party through a dare and it kind of stuck with her. Though she loved stripping she also loves video games and tried her hand at being a pro player and a video game reviewer online. Both were big but stripping brought more money in, had more freedom and the income was more steady too, but she still did them on the weekend, three videos a week.

She started stripping at a club at the legal age she could because it was fun, liberating and well she generally liked stripping. She is a people and animal person due to her monophobia which she discovered at the age of 16. She has had several dogs live with her so she would never be alone and would even bring one to work with her, only her youngest dog survived, her Rottweiler. The others either died one by one. Disillusioned by life Stacey, now Libertina Grimm believes she is a witch. She practices the dark arts and believes she brought the world to an end with a spell that was meant to remove all the bigots in the world. She is in no way dangerous and partly bat shit (Crazy). She is obsessed with death but seeing the world go to shit would do that to some people, even more so for someone who was fragile as her. The fact she was also a heavy cannabis user did not help her either. She is not judgemental at all, no matter whom or what you are even though she thought she cast a spell to remove certain people. She is Androphobia (Fears men) for reasons she won’t bring up, she shows discomfort and elements of fear around them. She also has Aphenphosmphobia (Which is a fear of being touched) as well as Hierophobia (Fear of holy sacred things and priests). She likes to grow things in gardens, most of it being legal and she likes to be in places of nature more than places made by man. She is rather gentle for one that likes death. Gum helps her cope with things as well though only temporally.
Background:
Stacey has no siblings; her mother could not have another child after having her first child due to some illness, something Stacey never truly understood. Her father was a germen play writer and article writer for various new papers and magazines. Her mother was a music promoter and artist, one that was very popular in Canada, UK, Japan and France. Stacey was fairly normal until she turned 14 where she found witch craft, something that started her life of being alone and would begin her several phobias. She was in the public library one day and as she browsed the book sections came across a book called the witch trails which led her to exploring the area, by age 15 went to the closest store occult store where she found a book that had spells and other supernatural things in. She also learned a few things about witches as well as the owner was one or so she was told.

During lunch times she would read these books, of course she would get looks due to what she was reading and would even get bullied by some people. Age 16 she was a dedicated witch, she dressed the part though with a slightly more modern spin on it. Life was like the last two years, people avoided her and some picked on her, though unlike the last two years the bullying got much worse. Some cruel pranks later brought on Libertina Grimm’s first phobia; she could no longer be touched by anyone, not even her family. Shortly after that her second phobia had developed where she feared anyone who was a man, her father however seemed to be the only one who remained unaffected. The last phobia of holy things and priests came about unexpectedly and had no real rash reasoning, it just became a thing. At age 17 she began to smoke the green which helped her cope with being a victim though in the end made her more edgy then normal.

During her 3rd year of being a witch she began to explore death, something that came to all and at this time began to cast spells though no spell happened, she just began to become disillusioned as some of the spells happened to have events that were similar or the same as the spell she cast. As the years went on she began to go off the deep end and soon felt that everyone was out to get her, by this point her father had passed away. Her father’s passing had affected her more then she knew and death became a part of her, by this point she was plan crazy. She began to deal with what witches would call potent spells; she wanted to punish those who treated her differently for an interest she had. She wanted those who gave her a hard time to go away and so when the infected showed up they did though things went wrong.

From that point things went out of hand and so she left Toronto as quickly as she could and made it to the US where things were no better. She had moved place to place taking only a backpack that had stuff she grabbed before leaving, her mother had been bitten so she had to be left behind. She did however grab her pet taranchula which she keeps on her or on her backpack. At this point it was her only friend, everyone else around her just died. Though horrible was something that strangely interested her. Her herbal and gardening knowledge had helped her gather stuff to help any wounds that may happen as she travelled empty towns and large cities full of infected. She still practices magic when she can but for the most part keeps on moving, never have fired a gun she can only put down a infected via close combat. In these times she needs to know how, just she never had one and even if she did who knew if ammo was even around, it was rare to find ammo.

History: Sebastian became disconnected with most of his familiar after he joined the Army at 18 years old. The rigors of training in his chosen career path and the many deployments it found him, eventually made it impossible for him to relate to anyone that wasn't part of that community. After years on a Special Forces team he tried out for and was selected to be a part of Delta Force, and any grasp of living a normal life escaped him all together.

There was one exception to this: his younger sister Sabrina. Even as his time away increased, their relationship remained powerful. She was his biggest supporter and fan and he was her hero every time he had a chance to come home. During an unexpectedly long lull in the action, they even lived together for awhile before he had to take off again.

His team got the call very soon after the outbreak. Some high level dignitaries and an ambassador were deemed to be critical to certain on-going political schemes and required evacuation by the most highly trained escorts available, ODA. It was a simple mission: a Blackhawk to carry the targets escorted by a 'Little Bird' containing Blaine and his three companions. What they did not expect was how bad the situation on the ground had become. The landing zone was completely over run, but the mission-first Operators touched down anyway after clear out a spot from by firing from the air.

It was immediately evident that the swarms of infected could not be driven away, but it was too late for at least too of the members who fell victim to the infected. Blaine's remaining teammate, Nick Andrews was separated from him as they both for forced to abandon the mission and focus on staying alive.

Personal Goal: Locate his missing teammate and keep as many other people alive as possible, and make contact with Sabrina to confirm that she was still alive.

Trivia: Blaine had to ditch his helmet and night vision in his escape as the infected grabbed at him and lacthed onto it.

History: Hunter grew up on the move, his parents had a tendency to travel in hopes of finding the places the economy was the best. This caused issues similar to that of social awkwardness, but a current bright side to that is that he is able to adapt to a new situation fairly easily. His parents when they had money were gun collectors, so he was familiar with how to use a gun from a young age. Though they were forced to sell the firearms years before the apocalypse, but by this point he was moved out, and struggling on his own.

Hunter had a natural talent for electrical engineering, it's something that always made sense to him. Though it was hard to explain that to contractors who he was trying to convince to hire him with out any form of internship or any real education (Because wiring your own Christmas lights doesn't count). After failing to get these jobs taken care of he got work at a local grocery store, He worked there on about minimum wage for 5 years. That is when shit hit the fan and he was forced to bug out.

He would spend his time walking around with his rifle, shotgun, and a handgun he got in a moments notice. All and all, could be worse. Even though he knows enough of what he is doing he has a couples things that could be considered issues. One, short attention spam. Two, Is willing to help a person in need, even if it means giving up supplies he doesn't have the ability to spare.

Personal Goal: Hopes to live a long and somewhat happy life.
