It's a One Piece RP, what more to expect? Pirates, Treasure, Adventure, Whackiness! Go ham.
But seriously, I do have a story, just setting up for now. Got 3/8 People right now (not including myself)
Sample CS:
Name: Pan D. Awilda
Age: 15
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Appearance: Pan is a very wimpy pale looking boy, with no real discernable features, other than his lack of muscles, blue hair, and effeminate looks. He isn’t too tall, nor too short, at 5’6”. He wears a Marine Uniform, complete with Hat, however outside of duty he wears a white shirt with black sleeves, as well as a pair of black trousers. On his waist he has a belt for a Saber and a Pistol, though he lost his standard flintlock pistol.
Weapons and/or Devil Fruit: [Weapon] A Saber with a lion based hilt, passed down from his sister, she called it, Gon. [Devil Fruit] (Obtained shortly in the story) Puni Puni no Mi, the Squishy Squishy Fruit, a Paramecia. This fruit causes the consumer to become a squishy human. This means many things for the consumer, one of which equals a falling apart into a pile of goo when hit hard enough by a solid object.
History: Pan was born with a strong sense of justice, but not a body that went with that. After nearly dying in birth due to an illness, he had been a very sheltered boy. His mother who hailed from Wano had watched over him protecting him from anything that came along, while his father, a captain in the marines, attempted to push his son towards his own profession. However, that seemed more like a job for his elder sister of 4 years, Leona.
At age 5, his mother came down with a disease that none of the doctors in East Blue could treat. Though his father searched high and low for a legendary doctor said to be able to fix nearly any ailment, he could not. She died shortly after, and it affected Pan heavily. He stayed in his mother’s room for nearly 4 days, before his father came in and attempted to get him back into society by playing with kids. However, while he played, he noticed a group of kids rough housing with a wounded rabbit. He felt sorry for the creature, like himself, unable to do anything to stop the pain that they were feeling. Then he remembered his mother, and her warm smile.
He ran to the aid of the rabbit, but having never met the kids before, he didn’t know what else to say, other than, “That’s wrong. You shouldn’t do that.” The kids laughed at his attempt to sound tough. It was no secret that his recently deceased mother was from Wano, and that was a subject of taunts. He listened to the taunts as tears welled in his eyes, before the group turned their beating to him.
Five times, they knocked him down, five times, he stood back up. He wouldn’t throw a punch. His mother wanted him to not harm anyone…but, she wasn’t here anymore. Was he supposed to listen still? One last punch from the head bully of the kids, and they soon had a reason to fear Pan. His Sister, a green haired whirlwind of pain to the children. They ran crying to their parents, but Pan wanted to know why Leona had defended him, as she hadn’t shown much interest in him before.
“Because, you were mom’s treasure. She never let you go, and I was jealous. I wanted to feel what it’s like to have something worth fighting for. It’s what she would’ve wanted. For you to be safe.”
Word got out that his sister and he had caused a lot of trouble, and their father was held accountable. He had already been stripped of his rank for embezzling so much on the search for a Dr. Hiluluk. Nothing but trouble continued for their father, as Pan found more reasons to step in when anything he saw unjust would happen. This began a cycle for he and his sister, until he was 10. That is the day that she and their father decided to teach him how to fend for himself.
“Pan,” Leona began. “I leave to apply for the marines in a year. Dad has taught me everything he can, and so, because I won’t be there to protect you forever, I want you to know how to protect yourself.”
Over the course of the next year, he became somewhat skilled in swordsmanship, at least enough, as his father put it, to impress some of the higher ups. But he still couldn’t get past how wimpy he appeared. His muscles didn’t grow, yet he still held the same tenacity to get up no matter how tired he was.
Then the day came, when his Sister left, taking with her their father’s Saber. Pan seemed to lose all of his will with Leona gone, allowing himself to be struck down with a single punch, and staying there at every fight he instigated. His father was upset by this, writing to Leona to try and talk some sense into Pan. In the two years, Leona had climbed the ranks to Captain, and sent a letter to Pan of all that she had accomplished, and all the good the Marines were doing. He was inspired once more, never giving up, even when he heard that his sister had fallen in battle.
Leona’s Saber was given back to them, as it was all they found at the sight of a large ship battle where she had reportedly died. Pan’s father fell into depression, as Pan continued to disbelieve that his sister had died. From that day, he vowed to become a marine as well, to try and find what really happened to Leona. His father however, had no faith at all. He continued to sulk, falling into an alcoholic addiction, until he disappeared entirely.
The day that Pan’s father disappeared, Pan turned 15, and grabbing the Saber, he went to the Marines. It was a miracle they even allowed him in, as he showed no potential until one of the vice admirals saw his fighting style. It resembled his former Captain’s style. Now, two weeks into recruitment, and he has been given a one day tour around town. He has no idea the journey he will soon get into.
