Cobalt flinched when he saw the rain but calmed down after he realized it didn't hurt him. It was actually quite refreshing. What wasn't refreshing was the burst of electricity that came afterwards. While Cobalt had been hurt by the lightning attack he had withstood it for the most part. He felt pain in places he didn't know existed after that attack, but he could keep fighting if he really needed to. He panted slightly as he watched a Zorua flee from battle after prodding from some Sneasels. He considered chasing the Sofia but instead decided to stand guard by Anthony. He turned towards the Koffing who had used Sludge and growled. He used Bullet Punch and knocked out the last Koffing, which wasn't that impressive considering how weak it was after that attack. Cobalt floated back to Anthony and stood guard near him. "You need to snap out of it bro."

Falvev took a step forward and started, "Ah! Cha-" He stopped as Thassa's tail looped around him and obediantly stepped back behind her. She was the one starting the team after all. In fact, she seemed to be doing quite a good job without his help this time. He watched as chatot headed down into the guild further, mumbling something about getting them cleaned up from the rain. He had never actually been in the guild though. So although he knew of Chatot he had no idea whether to follow or not.

Instead he turned to Dexter and held out a paw, "Welcome to the team then I assume! He said something about the rain? Should we follow you think?..." The crowd that had gathered to stare at Dexter dispersed when it seemed that a new team was being formed. Some even waved and greeted the three ( Dexter, Falvev and Thassa. ) Falvev decided to pretend he knew what he was doing and take the lead, leaping down the next ladder and landing as before, before taking position in case Thassa or Dexter needed help down.

I feel kind of bad about just taking their papers back after we beat them up, but I guess it’s a form of payback. I mean, they did try to beat us up. When Chip uses the badges to teleport us home, I try and follow along and act like I totally remember that they can do that. Because I do, obviously. Yeah. I mean, who wouldn’t? I laugh maybe a little too nervously as the Drifblim hands us our reward, thanking him as he left. One hundred and fifty pokedollars, times three… That would be, what, four hundred and fifty, total?

“That paid pretty well, all things considered.” I realize. Did he know that we were going to get in a fight like this all along? Maybe... is he actually some sort of chessmaster, orchestrating everything from behind the scenes, all for his own gain? Actually, I guess that the one most likely to be the chessmaster is the guild leader. Like, maybe the crazy guildmaster we met earlier was just a figurehead designed to fool us into thinking that he’s just acting like a crazy kook and is actually super awesome, but he’s actually just a crazy kook, and the real guildmaster is an AI buried underneath the guild designed to protect the last vestiges of civilization from destruction, and it’s interpreting this as getting rid of anyone who gets too powerful, because last time everyone just blew each other up or something, and this Desia pokemon might just be someone who’s only accidentally upset the status quo, or maybe that’s what any number of the other outlaw-types are, and we’re just contributing to the eternal stagnation of our own kind. And maybe WE were the true villains all al-

"Hey, Rebecca, have you seen Levita around here, anywhere?" Nina asks, interrupting my train of thought. I stop, thinking for a moment. I mean, the last time I saw her was in that grassy field. Where could she have gone off to since then?

“Well, I think Levita likes to take walks a lot,” I muse. “She could have taken one earlier, I guess?” Or maybe she learned too much and upset the secret true guildmaster, and we’re better off not knowing where she is now, which is honestly a lot more scary to me. Either way, we’re hopefully going to run into her again at some point. For now, though, finding something nice to eat (to celebrate our very first job well done) actually sounds like a pretty solid idea.

Celes looked around, shaking her head constantly, then snapping out of her confusion. She then looked back, seeing the very weakened Team Zan, as well as Anthony who seemed to have been taken by the blast also. She breath deeply before looking at M and Kamina.
"Good job back there, but you kinda hit a ally there!" she says before rushing towards one of the koffing and using one of her light chain, striking the thing down right here and now. She breath deeply before moving closer to Anthony, staying on guard to take his hits now. She then sees the Zorua who was named Zoe cry as he ran away. She stared a bit.
"Why even help a group of criminals when they just hurt pokemons! Don't fallow their example, they will only make you want to hurt others for no reason!" she yells at him. Maybe she will change her job path and find another team... She just hoped she will have a second though on all this.
"Hope someone has a berry or something for our friend here!" she then says, staying on her ground, ready to strike down more of those guys. It was time to finish those guys up once and for all and move up afterwards.

Eralion was surprised by the psycho cut attack that was coming right at him, only to see Bonnie jump in front of him and then take the hit.
"Bonnie N...." he start to say before seeing the attack do absolutely... nothing. What the heck... he expected that to actually hurt her but... Was it maybe that she was also... a dark type? But how could that be... maybe because of everything she lived, it started to affect her also. No matter, it was too complicated to try to explain. He then saw the gallade start to go and chase Bonnie around. He then freed one last guy before running off and then seeing the Gallade try to move towards Bonnie who was in the trap section. Just then he saw him go to do a attack. Eralion had to act quickly, but ho... A idea just popped up in his head... a crazy idea but...
"Bonnie watch out!" he yells before suddenly using Bullet punch... towards the wall next to Bonnie, grabbing her on the way and forcing her off from a attack. The punch then hit the wall... only for the wall to break and make Eralion and Bonnie pass through the wall!
"What the heck... are these walls cheap and made of crackers?" he says, shaking off before looking back.
"We need to run, now!" he says, looking at Bonnie, hoping she knew the way off now, running after her if she were.

Kamina

Well this wasn't good. It seemed that Anthony had gotten caught up in Kamina's combination attack with M. The poor guy wasn't looking to good right now either. That just wouldn't do. Slithering over to the injured Dragon type, Kamina scooped him up with his tail and put him back on his head. "There now, you just rest. I know how painful M's electricity can be. Just be glad that you weren't shocked in a body of water, that would have made it a lot worse." As much as Kamina wanted to help finish the fight, it was clear that the others were taking care of it. Right now, poor Anthony needed him a lot more, to keep him out of the fight to rest.

Tini

"Aww...and we just beat up the bad guy too." Tini pouted as the Gallade attacked. He saw as Eralion made a hole in the wall and escaped with Bonnie. While the Gallade only seemed after Bonnie, that didn't mean that he could just do nothing. Bonnie was his friend, so he had to help her. One nice thing about having lead Bonnie's dad on a chase through the house, was that he had learned the layout pretty well...so he knew what he had to do. With the Quick Seed still inside of his gut, he took off after them. It wasn't long before he caught up to Bonnie and Eralion. Once he did, he acted fast. Going underneath the legs of both of them, he wrapped the end of his tail around them, holding them onto his back. With his friends secured, he made a made dash for the exit "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

"Argh, for goodness sake..." Why was I talking like that before? 'Cause, memory of that incident's quite fuzzy. Initially, I didn't even know I had just single-handedly fended off an entire team. It's not as if I'm that concerned: it makes trying not to remember easier for me. However, I was pretty shocked (pun not intended) at what happened at first. "Did some asshat blind me or something?" I thought I was blinded, or at least knocked out for the entire time. Sure enough, I realised that not only all the clones were gone but that some Pokemon within our team and their team were weakened substantially. It took me a while to realise that I had in fact did that.

"Arceus... good call." I thanked him, briefly as the other team was still on their last legs and only just retreating. Celes yelled out something about a mysterious someone who was able to weaken everyone at once, though I didn't know she was referring to me until much later. Things went downright creepy when Kamina went over to help up Anthony, and saying that everything that had just happened was in fact MY fault... it certainly was, but I didn't know it at the time.

Either way, I went off and followed Spruce's lead, going off to ensure that the rest wouldn't awaken from their daze. "Guys, just what did I do?" I asked as I took a stretch, spreading out my feathers and preparing myself for a fight. Heck, I felt a bit faster than usual too-

Wait, feathers? "Okay, more like what did YOU guys do? Tar and stick some feathers onto me?" I looked down and around myself, seeing a few feathers arranged in joints and sticking off at certain ends. I tried to shake them off and even tugged at one, but I could actually feel the damn things... well, I'd have to sort that out later. There was a fight to attend to.

After everyone was freed and the gallade had given up on chasing me, I transformed back into a smeargle and ran upstairs, looking around and seeing that there was a freshly made hole in the wall, and I looked at it. "... My teammates are probably somewhere in there..." I say to myself, looking at it, running through and seeing Tini... attempting to trip both Bonnie and Eralion? I also saw the gallade chasing them, so I threw a rock at him, hitting the back of his head. "Hey, you!" I said, trying to get his attention. He twitched a little, glancing back before continuing his chase on the rest of the group.

[Josh]

Thankfully, Josh and Matt were able to avoid M's attack. Unfortunately, Anthony ended up getting hit, as well. The others rushed over to protect him from getting hit by any more attacks, but since Josh was stuck in the bucket at the moment, he couldn't do much to assist them.
"Has that confusion worn off yet, Matt?" He asked.
"Cloud forgot here, I am go."
Josh sighed. "Of course it hasn't."

Josh tried to hit one of the enemies from a distance, since Matt's confusion was preventing him from getting any closer. He tried to use Confusion on one of the Koffing, but ended up using a completely different attack, instead. It was a beam of psychic energy, which seemed to be slightly more powerful. It ended up knocking out the Koffing in one hit, which wasn't surprising, considering how weak all of their opponents were.

[Dexter]

Dexter had only known these people for a few minutes, and already they were inviting him to join their team.
"Sure. I'll join." He said, as they followed the Chatot down another ladder. He jumped down, landing next to Favlev. "So, where the hell are we going, anyway?"
This seemed to be the bottom floor of the guild. The Chatot led them through one of several doors that led out of this room.

"Guildmaster, we have three new recruits who wish to form a team." The Chatot said as they entered the room. After a brief moment of silence, the guildmaster turned around to greet them.
"Hiya!" He said. "So, you want to form a team? Great! I'll just need to register your team's name."
Dexter had heard how tough the guildmasters were, and definitely didn't expect this one to be a pink puffball. He also didn't think he'd have to come up with a name. He looked over at Thassa and Favlev, hoping that one of them had thought of something by now.

[Spruce]

M had somehow grown feathers, and asked if we had anything to do with it, and I was about to answer him, but I had more pressing matters, specifically, finishing off the last koffing with a vine whip. Sure, it wasn't very effective, but it was still more than enough to knock the thing out, leaving just four sneasel. I then say "Actually, no. We didn't do a dang thing to you, but you just had a giant burst of both anger and electricity. You told Kamina to drench the other team, and flew into the water with electricity arcing off of you. It knocked out most of their team," I then thought of something to say to the enemy, and say it immediately. "So, are you sure you want to challenge the nine of us? All FOUR of you? Sometimes I wonder if you have some sort of death wish... you know you're not going to win, ever, so why even bother at this point?" after that, the odd murkrow that I didn't notice before dive-bombed into one of the sneasel with some sort of shadowy move, knocking him out. I then chuckled, and said "Three against all of us... now isn't that familiar?" the three of them were scared now, as they were basically done for, and outnumbered by now. They were going to do one of two things, fight harder, or run away... unfortunately, they went with the former, and all three of them used ice shard on Anthony, who... responded to that attack just about as well as you'd expect a confused pokemon to... by saying gibberish, in this case, specifically "Doorknob not fire hazard light ball! PALMTREE!" I... had no idea what he was trying to say, as per usual, and he decided to aim an absorb attack at Josh, his own teammate.

[Anthony]

I was picked up by someone, and Kamina said something... so, I guess he was the one who picked me up. It didn't do much good, though, as, after some talking about how the enemy's just about done for, and Daniel coming out of nowhere to attack one of the enemies, I assume, I mean, for all I knew, he was confused just like I am now, I was attacked by a trio of icy cold attacks, and I tried to retaliate with an absorb at one of them, though, I think I might have hit one of my own teammates, as I aimed for the shiniest thing I saw, which was, in retrospect, probably Josh's bucket rather than a sneasel. I shouted "Doorknob not fire hazard light ball! PALMTREE!" though, I don't exactly WHY I said any of that, or even WHAT it meant, I just said it... as I felt the need to say something in this situation, this confusing situation. I tried to move off of whoever picked me up, but that didn't work because when I looked down from wherever I was, all I saw was a giant, possibly endless chasm, which scared me a little more than it should of, so, I stayed put, and continued muttering gibberish as if I was trying to communicate to someone using coded words that actually mean something else... of course, given my condition, and the fact that I didn't even know what I was saying, that was highly unlikely. The few moments I could see straight, I noticed that Matt was moving around in a random fashion, and was speaking in the same way I was... maybe he was confused, too? What could that mean for Josh, who was basically bound to Matt via bucket?

[Bonnie]

With Eralion breaking through the wall, and Tini picking us up, and William rejoining us as a Smeargle again, not only did I get to see the gallade's close combat hit my father, but the team managed to finally escape this place. I was nearly in tears again, this time for overcoming my fear of this old place, as I saw the badge's indicator change from red to green, meaning that we were far enough from danger to teleport back safely, with all of our items and everything. I quickly press the button, and warp not only myself, but my entire team back to the guild, where the bidoof was standing next to the mission board. "Golly... you guys saved my life! I wish I had some sort of reward for ya, but that evil pokemon took it all... as in, everything I had. I'm sorry, but I can't give ya anything for what you've done," the bidoof says to us, saddened by the fact that he can't reward us at all. I manage to say "That's... fine... I guess. Considering what was happening in there, I could count simply saving all of you, and breaking up whatever scheme that pokemon was plotting a reward... sure... that'll pay for breakfast..." once he was gone, however, I turn back to my teammates, and add "You guys... just... you don't know how much that meant to me... all of that, as in, that entire exploration, er, rescue, I guess made me finally see for myself that the monster in my nightmares isn't invincible, he can be hurt, and possibly even destroyed... and... well... no, I shouldn't say anything, though, I think Eralion already knows," I then notice a ringing sound from a lower floor, and pass by a trio of pokemon consisting of a chikorita, an ekans, and a growlithe who seemed new, as they were talking to Charlie... who almost nobody did unless they were new.

[Nina]

At first, I thought Rebecca was keeping tabs on Levita, which would explain why she fell so far behind Chip and I when I was attacked, but, now I'm just assuming she couldn't find me in the rain until I flash tackled the other nidoran. The fact that she even said she had no idea where Levita was made me assume exactly that... and then Rebecca said something about getting something to eat, which reminded me... I was hungry! I didn't have a bite to eat, other than that oran berry, all day. I rushed past her, and an oddly quiet Chip, and found a place to sit at the table, this time. Shortly afterwards, an odd group consisting of a snivy wearing a torn top hat, a mudkip who had a half of a bowtie, and a bulbasaur who had a broken monocle entered the room... and probably added to their on-body collection of splinters. They looked angry, and beat-up... heck, they'd even look beat up if you removed the splinters, which would have taken forever, as I could barely tell which pokemon they were under all of them. They walked up to me, in particular, and shouted "This seat, as well as the ones next to it belong to..." they then take a few seconds to get into some ridiculous formation, and after that continue with "TEAM AWESOME!" I simply laugh, and comment with "Okay, okay... so, tell me, what, exactly makes you 'awesome', let alone gives you the right to push pokemon out of their seat?" I emphasized the word awesome in a sarcastic manner, as naming your team 'awesome' was just plain stupid. I then waited for their response, and they just stood there, with an expression that gradually changed from anger to sadness as apparently they couldn't give an answer for a while, but they eventually came up with one in "We've finished a 5-star mission before! Yeah, take that! What was the highest rank mission YOU'VE ever completed, huh!? HUH!?" of course, by the time they came up with that zinger, I was already finished with my dinner, and left the dining room to head to my room, and quickly to my bed after that.

Celes saw what Anthony did and then facepalmed, shaking her head as she then looked at the sneasel that were left and then moved towards one of them, and then used moon blast on it, hitting it full force with the attack, knocking it out. It seemed the tides turned around really quickly.
"Well, 2 against a whole group.... do you really think you can win this?" she says, looking straight at M, who seemed to have feathers on his joint. She stared longly before looking at his eye.
"Uhm... Last time I check.... the only pokemon that was steel type that had feathers were skarmory, and no one glued feathers on you, so what the heck is happening." she then says. Well, their team was named the Odd ones out... she guessed now there was one more reason why they were odd ones out... She breath and sighed softly. A bunch of weirdo's, that what they were, but it seemed that being weirdo's wasn't actually a bad thing here in this case. Well, she would try to get answers after the fighting was done.

Eralion smiled as he saw the close combat suddenly strike Bonnie's father hard. He felt Tini suddenly pass and then grab them, running off and then getting them outside, before Bonnie used her badge and then teleported the whole group to the guild. He started to breath deeply, smiling. When he heard about not being rewarded cause of that crook having taken everything out of the bidoof, he looked at him and breath deeply.
"It's alright. We probably stopped him from using those big pokemons for some evil use, maybe using mind control or something to attack the town or used them as goons." he then says calmly, thinking a bit more.
"I am just glad that we were able to escape, and like Bonnie said, the experience and the though about ruining his plans was good enough for us." he says smiling. He then looked at Bonnie and grin a bit.
"And to think that you actually took that psycho cut like that for me... and wasen't affected by it. Really.. thank you Bonnie. Not only that but... for why you actually were not affected by it... could it be possible you are part dark type also... maybe because of your past?" he then says, for the last part taking a bit more seriously look, but still staying calm.

Kamina

Had he been able to react quicker, Kamina would have taken the Ice Shards that hit poor Anthony. After all; Ice Type attacks from a Pokemon who wasn't stronger than him wouldn't even cause so much as a scratch considering his typing. However, Ice Shards was a naturally fast move, so by the time his brain had finished processing the attack, it was almost at Anthony. Before he could do anything else, Anthony attacked his bowl bound teammate with what looked like Absorb. "What cruelty; inflicting such madness on someone's mind, making them attack their own friends and family" Kamina growled menacingly, no at all amused by the effect the Confusion was having on the Dragon atop his head. Seeking to better protect his passenger, Kamina draped his tail-fin over him, in the hopes that it would both calm him down, and intercept further attacks. "Just try to rest now. You're not in any condition to fight" he told him in hopes that his voice could get through to him, despite the madness.

Tini

Well today had been just great by Tini's standers; he had helped out a stranger, helped his poor friend Bonny with the nightmares of her past via dropping a couple of bookcases on her father...oh, and he had evolved, that was nice too. "Yay! Bonny's on the road to recovery from her trmatic childhood because we beat up her dad. This calls for a victory hug!" Back when he was just a Dratini, he would have barely been able to wrap his whole body around someone of Bonny or Eralion's size. However, now that he was a Dragonair, things were different. He could easily wrap around both of them with plenty of body to spare...and that's just what he did. Coiling around his teammates (oh yeah, William had come back too. Where did he even go anyway?) he held all three of them in a full body hug "ahhhh...hugs are nice."

-Chip-
When I got back to the guild and went through the door to the mess hall, I sensed a few pokemon that were trying to cause trouble. I knew that they were a snivy, since no other pokemon talks like that, a mudkip, and a bulbasaur, and Bonnie. Wait, no, Bonnie wasn't making trouble. She was just talking to them and then they got in some dumb stance and bragged about how they completed a high level mission. I walked past them, grabbed my share of food and ate it, then scuttled past the trio, kicking one of them in the back of the leg before running out of there as fast as I could, and then I sped into the crew rooms and hopped into my bed, trying to go to sleep.

-William-
After getting out of there, Tini hugged all of us and I exclaimed "We're alive? We actually made it out!" and I grinned. "I thought that we were dead meat!" I commented before squeezing out of Tini's grip and looking around. Those captives were nowhere to be seen, so I just walked to the mess hall and saw everyone that we had saved eating full plates of food, and I grabbed some food and sat down, beginning to eat.

[Josh]
While Josh was focusing on the two remaining Sneasel, he was hit by an Absorb. He wasn't weak to it due to his Poison typing, but it still hurt him quite a bit. He looked over to where the attack came from, and saw Anthony sitting on top of Kamina's head. Due to his confusion, he was unable to tell the difference between his enemies and his allies.

At that point, Matt's seemingly random movements had stopped.
"You alright, Matt?" Josh asked, hoping the answer wouldn't be gibberish.
"I appear to be, yes." Matt said. "That was a rather unpleasant experience."
Now that Matt's confusion had worn off, Josh focused his attention on the two remaining Sneasel. He knocked one of them out with Water Gun, leavig only a single opponent, who would probably be knocked out in a few seconds by one of his teammates.

“Wait for me, Nina!” I call out as I follow her to get some food. I guess she wants to stake out a good seat or something? If she wanted to get there quick, I could probably just try and teleport her there… Actually, on second thought, I probably shouldn’t, that feels like it wouldn’t turn out so well for some reason…

After grabbing a seat with Nina and actually eating my food, I decide that it seems better than last time. Maybe food just tastes better after working for most of the day? I’ll have to see if this is the case tomorrow, or maybe even a few more days if I really want to be sure about it. Unfortunately, though, some other team decides that they can cramp my style, and as they futilely attempt to answer Nina’s question, I decide to give them a piece of my mind.

“Ok,” I cut in. “Wait, stop. I’ve seen cripples strike better poses than that. What are you trying to convey with this formation, your sense of balance? Where’s the dynamic? If you don’t have the sense to appreciate style, then don’t even try it.” And with that, I leave the “awesome” team to finish putting their thoughts together, though Chip does perfectly time a kick to one of their shins right after I get up and leave. Just as I start down the hall, I hear a familiar voice call to my attention:

“Hello.” My brother says as I turn towards him, feeling like I’m about to have the mother of all heart attacks.

“Oh hi Leon,” I sputter out quickly. “I wasn’t expecting to see you here I mean why would you ever come around to a place like this when there’s so much to do back home I mean seriously I needed to take such a huge break from it all and relax a little bit but then you show up all of the sudden and how did you even get down here-”

“Spare me the usual prattling, sister,” Leon says, his tone strangely devoid of any negativity. “To answer your question, I decided to leave and track you down myself. As for how I got in, the sentries let me in. The fools probably mistook me for you.” True enough, he looks almost exactly like me, save for his eyes being a different shade of blue and the fact that he wears a necklace instead of a scarf, though the latter would be the only difference that’s immediately noticeable.

“Oh…,” I say awkwardly as I start to calm down a little bit. “You didn’t come here alone, did you?” He shakes his head.
“I was asked to bring Dimon and MacArthur,” My brother answers with a tinge of annoyance. “Though I in turn asked them to wait outside. Now, if you’re done asking your questions, come with me; we’re going home.”

“I… I can’t,” I say, deciding to elaborate after he looks at me with confusion. “I can’t go back there, not now. I can’t sit in a room my whole life listening to political intrigue with a blank smile, you know? I’ve got to find my own place in life first… I feel like it’s what Mom would have wanted…” Leon goes silent for a moment before answering me;

“Well then…,” he says. “I suppose I could misdirect them for a few days… Perhaps this is a good opportunity to do a little searching of my own…” He grabs his pendant in his hand as he speaks, and he turns to leave, teleporting away before I can thank him. I go back to our team’s room, closing the door quietly and laying down on my bed. I open my journal and try to write another journal entry, but I can’t seem to get anything written down, so I just start absentmindedly doodling until I get tired and throw the book down at the side of the bed, trying to go to sleep.

[Spruce]

I was about to finish off the last sneasel, even having a one-liner ready just for that, however... that murkrow dive-bombed into him, instead, finishing him off for me, and taking the final KO himself. "Say... who exactly are you, mystery murkrow?" I ask the murkrow, having not heard anything about him, and having not even seen him until recently. "...Daniel..." he said to me with some hesitation. He then continued with "Also... I'm a shadow pokemon," I took a few steps back with that, not wanting to shake his wing, even though he did offer at that point. Instead, I shouted "ANTHONYYYYYYYYYY! I need to talk to you!" I then ran right over towards him, in his usual spot for this adventure, on top of Kamina's head. "Ah, there you are. Uh, Kamina, mind lowering Anthony for a bit? I need to speak with him about one of his, and temporarily our party members," after Kamina lowered Anthony, or if he didn't just after a bit of hesitation, I started whispering to Anthony "You... do realize that murkrow of yours is a shadow pokemon, right?" he looks at me with a look of disgust, and then says something I didn't expect him to "Of COURSE I knew. Why the heck would that matter, anyways, huh!?" Anthony also shouted rather than try to keep it secret, and I tried to say something, but he wasn't listening anyways "But... shadow pokemon are evil, aren't they? M, you have to agree with me on this, right?" of course, it might not have been smart to include M in this as he was being quiet again, probably reflecting on the battle at hand, so, I ended up also asking "Celes, you agree with me, right? That shadow pokemon, like Desia, are evil?" it started to get late, so, Anthony, ignoring me, said "Let's just get some shut-eye, and no, Spruce, nobody's leaving the team,"

[Bonnie]

For some reason, everything just seemed better to me, and I mean everything from the food to the floor just seemed amazing as I had my dinner, and left, that is, after a brief interruption by the guildmaster which I wasn't paying any attention to, honestly, and headed right to my bed. Sure, there was some complaining and random noise going on around me, but it just didn't seem to matter at this point, not with what I just overcame. Oddly, I was almost silent through this entire trip, which seemed somehow longer than it usually was, and, once I got to my bed, I had the most amazing dreams. None of them included my father, and a few of them included Spruce leaving that eevee he was with to go with me, instead... heh, as if that would ever happen, but it still made for a pleasant dream. I was already certain that I would wake up in the best of moods tomorrow morning, and I was almost certain that my team would take notice. Oddly, I also felt some sort of energy as I slept, no, it didn't wake me up or anything, but... maybe I'm almost ready to evolve... or maybe I'm just excited to wake up tomorrow, knowing that my own nightmare can be overcome, that he can be defeated... that he has. The thought that I, along with the rest of Team Green can thwart his evil plots, and even possibly arrest him just seemed to bring me nothing but joy and happiness. Of course, there wasn't much else to do now that I was asleep, aside from sleeping.

[Nina]

Rebbecca was a little slow to get to dinner, well, comparatively, anyways, but she had a pretty funny conversation with 'Team Awesome' about their poses, and she was completely right. In fact, one could argue that they weren't poses, but just a muscle twitch that each of them shared. Once I left the table, I overheard a scream from one of them, possibly that snivy, the stuck-up, arrogant jerk, and looking back inside revealed that Chip kicked him in a splinted that lodged itself in the back of the snivy's leg. I chuckled a little bit, and made sure that I wasn't the last one to bed, and once I was there, I thought to myself Wow, my first mission and it was a huge success! Not only did we get paid a lot of money, but we even defeated a rival team... ON OUR FIRST DAY! I think 'perfect to the last beat' is a fitting motto for us, at least, it is for now. I then start dreaming various, random dreams that made absolutely no sense outside of their logic. I can't even begin to describe them, as I don't remember any of them, all I remember was that they were weird, and that they followed no logic... as most dreams do, of course. During a brief time when I was awake in the night, I wondered whether or not there were pokemon who actually remember their dreams, or if there were any whose dreams had any sort of logic... I then laughed myself to sleep on that ridiculous notion, and continue dreaming up those random dreams.

Celes looked at Spruce before breathing in deeply, and looking at the murkrow, and then at Spruce.
"Well... uhm... you know your kinda a void pokemon Spruce... some people might say the same thing... So... I am unsure about what to think about that... maybe hes not evil, maybe hes faking being good, I don't know..." she then says unsure, looking at the murkrow a bit more.
"Although we need some shut eye a bit after what happened... we will need have some guard duty anyway during the night... Anthony might need to wake up later on for a shift... Anyway lets just get some shut eye Spruce... And keep a eye out on that murkrow. Maybe he is not evil and controls the shadow's and is not affected by it... or he was born like that and his mind was unaffected. We need to wait and see." she then says in a low voice. She then gave Spruce a small kiss and giving a small cuddle, before heading to a tree to get some sleep under it.

Eralion smiled as Tini went and hugged them, actually hugging him also a bit. He then went to get food, actually stuffing himself after all that happened today. He then breath deeply and yawned, going to his room, and going to one bed. He looked at Bonnie, and smiled as he saw her sleep, peacefully. She was kinda... cute.... Wait... what was he saying? Seriously... He shook his head a bit at that. It felt awkward a bit. He actually had a small blush on his cheeks right now, as he looked away and went to his bed to go get some sleep. He started to dream of his old home, about his life before, about his parents and the pokemon's that passed by... but then also about himself, bigger and stronger like his mother. Strong enough to defend the pokemons in the forest. He smiled before actually seeing the shape of a Lopunny at a distance, before the dream faded into something else. Great... if that what he was thinking about, now he was even thinking about her in his dreams... That was just too awkward... Why... oh god why was he dreaming about her like that now...

Kamina

Complying with his friend's request, Kamina lowered his head so that Spruce and Anthony could talk. For some reason, Spruce started yelling at Anthony about that Murkrow being something called a 'Shadow Pokemon.' Then Anthony said that no one was going to leave the team. That's something that should just be assumed, so if must be significant if it needed to be mentioned. "Uh, yeah...quick question; what's a Shadow Pokemon? Are they anything like those grey Pokemon we saw at that really weird place with the messed up gravity? I mean, sure he doesn't look grey...but maybe he's a shiny Shadow Pokemon?" Remembering that he had a passenger on his head, Kamina resisted the urge to tilt his head in wonder. "Anyway, I'll take guard duty. I don't sleep much anyway. Sleep is when the Krabby get you and try to tear you in half with their sharp claws"

Tini

As per usual, Eralion was great at returning hugs...this made Tini happy. Something that wasn't normal was Bonny's extra happy mood, although this also made Tini happy. The large amount of running(?) and also his first evolution had left the not so tiny Tini feeling extra hungry, so he stayed at the magical food place longer then his teammates. By the time he got to their shared room, they were all asleep. With a full stomach, Tini slithered off to his designated sleeping spot and went out like a light.

Once more, Tini's dreams manifested as a realm of utter madness, capable of sending even the most grizzled warrior into insanity. This time, he found himself on a pirate ship along with his team. One might think that this ship was on the water, and you'd be perfectly justified in thinking so...only it wasn't. No, this ship was climbing a mountain! "Weeeeeee!" Tini cheered as the ship slowly made it's way up the rocky slope. Meanwhile, his friends were all speaking in out of context outdated 90's slang that Tini really shouldn't even know in the first place

[Josh]
Apparently, Spruce had some bad experiences with Shadow Pokemon in the past. As soon as he found out about Daniel, he immediately ran over to Anthony, and whispered something to him. Unlike Spruce, Anthony made no effort to keep the others from hearing him.
"Of COURSE I knew. Why the heck would that matter, anyways, huh!?"
"But... shadow pokemon are evil, aren't they?"
Josh sighed. They had already dealt with something like this before, back at the Victini village, and he didn't want to deal with it again. "We don't have time for this, Spruce." He said.

The sun was starting to set. As much as Josh wanted to keep going, they would have to wait until morning to continue. Their progress was slowed down quite a bit by that battle, and a bunch of sleep-deprived teammates would only hinder them even more.
"We'll get some sleep for now." Josh said. "As soon as the sun rises, we'll keep moving."

I'll admit I overreacted. I took WAY too long to actually start fighting again, what with me acting like a drama queen and darting my eye all around myself. Just why the heck did I have feathers? Well, I certainly didn't know, but it didn't mean I'd find an answer by stalling in the middle of a fight.

Speaking of which, I had noticed the remaining Pokemon were on their last legs, obviously defeated and being humiliated at this point. That would send a clear message to those idiots, who tried to uppercut us using nefarious tactics. Well, if they failed with that then I don't even know why they'd even bother the next time around. What would they do, grab a doomsday device and strap a team-mate onto it?

I calmed myself down, remembering I had cast myself something on the lines of Agility. "Oh, right!" Just as I was going to fight with the others, another random Pokemon (as if that random Beldum wasn't enough) dived in and essentially demolished that Sneasel, earning my appraisal as I mouthed 'woah.' Said appraisal dissipated quickly though; I wasn't sure what it was, but there was something off about that new guy. (New, new guy, not the Beldum - he was alright). Spruce was also in awe somewhat, asking for the mysterious figure's name, getting him to say 'Daniel' with a raspy voice. Celes looked at Spruce and then back to Daniel, while Kamina went on blabbering about something. I leered on, realising something quite grim once everyone's voice said the same thing: 'shadow.'

"Are you kidding me? He's a shadow Pokemon?!" I growled, moving through and brushing shoulders/magnet with Spruce. There was hostility in the air and surprised he even turned up: but the fact Daniel seemed to be capable of free will/attacking the right people... that refrained me from immediately electrocuting him. "They're damn right evil! We've spent half our journey battling Desia's minions!" I let myself go, barking but holding some guilt (and causing myself not to follow the rage I expressed during that battle). Not everything was black and white in this world, and I immediately turned down my tone when Celes suggested that by our logic, Spruce should also be somewhat villainous. "Alright then... alright Celes. Maybe it could be another one of her tricks though, or maybe he is in fact our saviour." I said, still tense but more calmly while ignoring whispers in our group.

Celes left to immediately go napping, leaving the rest of us who've apparently forgotten about this oddity. "I dunno about you 'Daniel', but some of us here aren't exactly used to seeing your kind around." I got a rather stern look from the Murkrow, but that was expected in response to my attitude. Anthony was also going to bed/sleeping under a shelter of a tree, though he did slip a fact he knew the Murkrow and wasn't prepared to let him go. Supposedly he was trustworthy, so maybe I was just being paranoid. I looked away from Anthony and back to Daniel, the background quiet as everyone snoozed off for sleep. "Just keep your feathers to yourself, we don't want trouble around here." I went off to follow the others, glancing at Daniel at least twice before resting on a branch peacefully. Just another day in this life, I guess.

Rebecca awoke with a loud yawn, rolling over and pushing herself off of the ground with a sigh as she straightened out her hair. She went to sleep pretty late, but somehow she was the first to rise. She put on her scarf and walked over to where Nina was sleeping.

"Hey, Nina?" she asked. "Are you awake yet?" She tried not to speak too loudly, having heard that guilds usually had problems with obnoxiously loud wake ups, but she didn't want to rock her friend awake, either, especially considering the poisonous spines.
