I should say, as per my sig, I'm shortly moving abroad, which might eat up my time but shouldn't result in any downtime. Worst case scenario, I swing by to say sorry I've not posted yet because I'm a busy bee.

Is there any kind of plot-thus-far or plot-for-the-future or 'characters we need' I should know about without ploughing through all of the OoC? :P

In terms of plot... I'm currently leading us through you know who's take over of the ministry once that is done, there will be a small interlude while we decide where we are going with the story.

The idea is we will create plans of what to do to rise against you know who together.

I have some ideas, so does dookie and any ideas you guys have we will discuss and implement if we all like them.

In terms of characters. I'm not going to cap what type of characters people make however considering our current set up I would prefer a character without a combat orientated job for a bit of variety as we currently have two combat specialists but if you have have an idea i won't stunt your creativity... let me know if you need any further info.

fyi.... Irish angel has decided against making a character.

Eep. Don't like to do this, but I've had a look at the IC and it seems much more combat-oriented than I was looking for, and it also feels run in a way I don't really work (with GM NPC's reacting to player actions).

Good luck, but, on closer inspection, this isn't for me.

Morning all

Update will be coming today... first game of the new prem season yesterday so we had all my mates round and went out the night before.. first night out in about 5 months and I was sooooo hungover. Queue next weekend with the first nfl preseason game where I will once again be battered.

I did however want to respond to the small influx of new people and their reasons for not creating characters. A couple of questions about gm style have been raised that I wanted to address and check you guys were ok with it or if you would prefer me to adapt a bit to the norm around here.

When i started rping and gming I was playing with a d and d based crowd where the gm was less a poster and more a guide.

I also find that the style I am using is better for smaller group rps with a set story as people can get bogged down and struggle for somewhere to go which causes them to loose interest. This is not so bad in a typical world based rp which can easily have high character turn over but in a small group rp can really destabilise the whole thing..

The way I gm is designed to ensure you always have somewhere to go and something to say but I do realise it's not the norm for round here. I am also very happy for you to pm me ideas and to change my updates if you have an idea you want to run with.

The idea is that we will move a little more away from this style of things anyway once the minsitry has fallen. I will become less of a gm and more Caroline and a variety of npcs once we get through this original part of the ministry falling which will in turn allow you to be more free.

If you do feel I'm not giving you enough freedom let me know or if you would prefer more free form updates just let me know.

As for any new people lurking, if you do feel you can deal with this we have 2-3 spots left and would be happy to have you. Any questions drop me a line.
