Hello everyone! Fantasy is a genre that pops up quite often in these forums, and I love me some fantasy, but it almost always seems to be some kind of Western fantasy. I'd like to switch up the aesthetics a bit and start an Eastern fantasy RP. Instead of knights, elves, and orcs, there will be samurai, kitsune, and oni. Just as Western fantasy takes place in fictional worlds based off of medieval Europe, I'm looking for a world based off of feudal Japan. Interested? Well, here's what I'm looking for in a partner:

~Be able to post at least once every day or so. Missing a day here and there is fine, but I'd like to keep things moving. And if we hit a groove and post multiple times a day, that's good too.
~I generally post about 2-3 paragraphs per post, more depending on the circumstance. I'd like you to be in that range as well. Also, proofread your posts please.
~For the main characters, I play M, you play F. Romance is cool, smut is not. We will fade to black if that comes up.
~Be able to contribute to the plot and flesh out the world with side characters.
~Blood, violence, gore, and profanity are all fine with me.

I don't have a specific plot fleshed out (it's often fun to build them as you go in RPs) but here are a few potential ideas:

-A quest to stop the appearance of malevolent spirits.
-A samurai is tasked with protecting the daughter of a powerful feudal lord.
-Mischievous fox spirits bite of a bit more trouble than they can handle.
-A web of aristocratic intrigue develops as multiple families compete for the privilege to marry a powerful heir.
-A feudal lord tries to fulfill his ambitions

Well hello there! is the following plot already taken? -> A samurai is tasked with protecting the daughter of a powerful feudal lord.
If not, I instantly thought of the movie 'The Last Samurai' as the setting. It's in the late 19th century though but I doubt that makes a difference. Let me know if you'd be interested! ^-^
