What if the gods started a war that would consume the entire world, beyond? With the death of Hestia, goddess of the hearth, Zeus sent the world into peril by blaming every other Pantheon, and waging war with them. The other gods retaliated and now every realm has been consumed by war divided to the brink. Now that the gods have found out that they can be killed they have taken extra precautions, each god has taken a human host fit just for them. These host will act as their vessels, weapons, and shields from everything that might harm them. Now you have been possessed by a god and dragged into this fight. Your body will be used to fight other gods and bring honor to your Pantheon, but if you die your soul will never see rest and will become a wandering ghost. Now are you ready to be a fighter in the War of the Gods.

Welcome to War of the Gods. I am looking for as many people as possible, only because there are a lot of gods to choose from. Basically the sides will be divided by different Pantheons: Hindu, Olympian, Norse, Chinese, Egyptian, and Mayan. Any god from each of these pantheons will do as a character and each person should be able to have 2. The RP will take place starting at an attempted peace summit were the leaders of the other pantheons are trying to appeal to Zeus, but things fall to pieces when two people get into a fight and it all goes down hill from there and ends with the death of a certain god or goddess. The progression will happen with different events and fights between each Pantheons. Basically depending which character you choose decides your goals for this RP, but I will lave it up to each individual to decide what your god wants. I am currently setting everything up but I would like to see if anyone is interested before I post it.

Not exactly he is the Zeus/Jupiter is the king of the Olympians. Just of his own, like Ra is the king of the Egyptians and Odin is the King of the Norse. But he does have the power to wage war like any other king, and this is hisnway of getting back on who ever killed his sister.

No you can choose from other minor Pantheons, the ones I listed will be the strongest and largest in this RP. But I am open to any any other gods from other places but they will have to take a side.

I can see Vishnu but if you can find a way to make Jesus work and I like it then sure, but remember you get two gods or deities so its your choice.

Really, two? Well then I might just try Jesus and someone else. . . Jesus will be hard to write but I can do it without being overpowering.

So... Zeus waging war against every other pantheon is basically a suicide mission? And in what year does it take place? And are the Norse (ex. Odin) and the Germanic (ex. Woden) pantheons considered the same pantheon?
