An example of Power play is
User 1: I rush him and try to attack swinging diagonally from his left shoulder down to his hip. If it misses I would jump back to avoid, if it hits I'd stay on the assault.
User 2: I barely manage to sidestep the attack, and then counter with a right hook, but miss because (User 1) jumper back. I then try for a round house to his face, if it misses I try again. Should be block it I go for a backflip kick.

See, my preferred thing for post-by-post fighting involves less of that and is more 'I try and do this' but without all the speculation of 'but if he does this I do that' afterward so it's much more reactionary than laying out a bunch of contingency plans.

The only problem I'd have with that sort of fashion is that posts may contain quite a bit less detail, but hopefully we can all work together to get over that fact. Or perhaps I'm just too inept to rightly understand it and may need to see it played out before I judge it. With that said, Panda, do you suppose Axel would be able to see any of these battles from where he disembarked by ship?

Axel would need only to peer left to see bluebeard.
As for the Karate Guy, Mohji and Cabaji are almost the same in strength, and we saw what happened to them, so its a short fight, not too long.

Perfect, I think I'll wait a bit as things heat up and see if Axel would intervene from there. Though I'm completely unsure at this point. I'm sure that this lovely duo can handle their challengers, but Bluebeard could be a bigger problem.

Only blue beard would be visible. A few yards away from that fight towards the city would reveal the martial artists, and further into town, out of sight would be the swordsmen dueling.
