| NAME: |Terrence "Terry" McGinnis
| ALIAS: |Batman
The Tomorrow Knight
| ABILITIES/SKILLS/EQUIPMENT: |Terry dons the Batsuit built by Bruce Wayne in 2040. The suit was meant to prolonge Bruce's crime fighting career when his body began failing him. The suit has a immense amount of features built into it. These features include Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Durability, X-ray, Infra red and UV vision. Invisibility, life support, radioactive protection, the ability to connect directly into just about any computer, listening devices built into the gloves, wings and jet powered rocket boots and a wide variety of gadgets that are not vital to the suit. Gadgets involve the Batarangs, varities of grenades, ranging from smoke to C4, tasers and melee weapons, as well as the possibility of Terry restocking for a particular mission back at the Batcave.
Without the suit, Terry is a capable street fighter, being able to beat multiple opponents at once, and thanks to the training under Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson, T is Neo Gotham's Apex Martial Artist. He's a acrobat in the same league as Batman or any of the Robins, however, unlike Bruce, he lacks the textbook knowledge. But what he lacks in intelligence, he makes up for in Wit, quick thinking and street smarts.
Terry is in peak physical condition and is a olympic level athlete.
He's a excellent climber, motorcyclist, user of disguises and fake identities.
| LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES: |The suit increases his strength ten times, allowing him to lift 2,400 Kilograms over his head. He is able of flight at a reasonable 200 MPH with his wings and boots alone, allowing him to catch up to most criminals, weather they are driving a automobile, or if they're riding flying playing cards. The suit does not make him bulletproof, high caliber rounds still tears through the weave of the suit with ease, while he can handle a handgun bullet or two.
Without the suit, he's a regular human who will bleed and die just like anyone else. He's dependent on oxygen, food and water. He has a temper that he's not always able to control, and like Bruce did before him, he's been known to push the limits of what's moral.
| SAMPLE POST: |Flipping backwards, he was dodging the hail of bullets that were coming at him from the Cobra Cultists. They were madder today than usual. Coming behind a couple of barrels, he takes a second to catch his breath. "So, old man. Did you get anything useful off of the tracers I put on on the Cobra Leader?" He asked Bruce, semi-blindly throwing a batarang at the men who were firing at him. Hearing the modified projectile explode, it was his cue to move. Running up against the wall he was facing, he shot out using the jets in his boots, using the momentum to clear the distance between him and the Cobra Thugs, tackling both of them to the ground, he rolled onto his knees, where he punched them both in the face, knocking them out cold. "Yeah. I found where he's taking the girl. Move it McGinnis."
Standing up he dusted himself off. "On it." He told Bruce, pressing a button in his ear he called the Batmobile to him, flying up through the glass roof he had broken while making his entrance. Getting into the Batmobile he followed the GPS signal Bruce had given him, and he would arrive at the high end apartment building just in time to see the Cobra Lieutenant run into the building with the Ginger girl under his arm. Giving chase he shot out of the Batmobile that was hoovering in the air, using his wings to safely land some 40 meters below him. Activating his cloaking mechanic he followed the Cobra agent without being alerted.
"Be careful Terry." Bruce warned him, as Terry nodded. He was always careful. He followed the man up towards his room, where Terry found the room to be unguarded. Unheard off, really. Hacking the electronic lock, Terry found his way inside, finding the would be kidnapper taking off his mask, and patting the girl on the head, telling her to go watch the TV. He was looking out through he window. "I know you're there, Batman. I'm not going to fight you." He said, as Batman shrugged, coming out of his cloaking, he closed the door behind him.
"She's my daughter, and that bitch of a Ex-Wife took her from me. I joined Cobra to get her back. We're going to vanish, her mother can't take care of her, but I can. She has a rare case of brain tumor that can only be treated with the chemicals I stole. I beg you, Batman. Let us go." The man said, turning to Terry who could see in his eyes how they were welling with tears. Terry gulped, hearing Bruce talking in his ear to take the guy down, and let the authorities handle this.
Tapping the pointy ear in his helmet, he turned off Bruce's voice in his head. "You know I can't just let you kidnap her." Terry began, as the man sulked "But please! She's gonna die!" Terry frowned under his mask. Damn. He had to pull the good parent card. "You and your fellow Cobra cultists hurt four security guards. Give me the chemical and I personally will make sure that she gets the treatment she needs. I will use my influence with the GCPD to make sure they look into the custody case of her. I promise she will have a great life, you running isn't a solution, she won't have a life then."
"B-But she's gonna grow up without a father."
"You already made your choice. You'll get out in ten years, maybe five if you're lucky. She will see you again, and she will be healthy. I promise."
"Y-You promise?"
"I'm Batman, after all."
| NOTES: |Terry is taken from the year 2065, and he's in his third year as Batman, having just graduated High School, he's 19 years old.
I'm 'modernizing' the look of Neo Gotham, so thus Terry will be a little more advanced than he was in the TV-show, as it was still very 90's in terms of technology.
He's obviously moved to the current time by a.. 'irregular' event, and will be striving to get back home.
