Also, is the 'only one post' rule effective only during the introduction phase, or through the duration of the RP? 'Cause I can see how it would interrupt the flow of a conversation when things progress later on.

Throughout the roleplay. That gives everyone a chance to post. If your character or someone else's is going to be engaged in a long conversation, I prefer a collab post. I can link some collab posts sites, if that'll help though have to wait until tonight after I get off off work.

I'm afraid I won't be able to post the upcoming few days. Some things got in between, but nothing serious. In case you want to move on, in short my post was/is going to be something like this:
John is finishing up at the hairdressing salon, gets Vanessa's text, texts her back that he'll be on his way, gets SΓ©amur's text, texts him back that he'll take some along, quickly swaps clothes and fixes his hair before driving off with his stereos blasting, then arrives at Vanessa's place and rings the bell.

Are the characters planning to stay for the night at Vanessa's place? With all the talks of getting drunk and smoking weed, Fourth of July might just hold the record for the most traffic accidents in a night, all caused by intoxicated teenagers.
