Basco listened to the worries that Lavender was having and reassured her that everything would be ok. "Oh don't worry. I sure nothing terrible will happen...and if so...the great mage can fix it and we all have abilities to defend ourselves...your ice powers are handy and there's no telling who I can control and what I can do with my new pan flute!"

--------

Catching the sight of a large spire, Basco could see that they were evermore closer to fixing all of this even though Basco was starting to like this world. Seeing the guards and having Terra do the talking for them, Basco was a little nervous as to what was to come but he tilted his head when asked if they were armed. Basco looked down at his older which held his pan flute. "I guess you can say I'm armed with something but.....hey..if it doesn't seem like a weapon, why call it a weapon?" he thought.

Walking in the great halls where the paintings and such could be seen, Basco stopped in his tracks while Lavender was still holding on to his arm when he heard the thunderous voice speaking in an unhappy tone "uhh...heh...what was that?" looking towards Terra with an unsure look on his face

“I do believe that voice belongs to Caljorn the Mighty. And from the sound of things, he is quite unhappy.” Terra seems slightly uneasy, but pushes forward deeper into the building and in the direction of the voice in spite of that. She leads them to the entrance of a large chamber, one far more impressive than the halls she’s been taking them through so far.

Inside this room, there are five figures. The first is an averagely sized man, arms crossed as he gazes upon a painting of a war scene hung on the wall. He seems to be the only one uninvolved in the current discussion, but assuming he is not listening would be erroneous. His outfit consists of light platemail, which appears mostly decorative, and a large white cloak thrown over his shoulders and fastened around his neck by a silver clasp.

The second is a girl on the shorter side, easily the youngest of them all. She is dressed in green and browns, and two massive yellow wings protrude from her back through slits in her top. Flowers are woven into her long hair, which is pulled back into a loose braid. She too seems only to watch, though she looks as if she would jump at the chance to speak. She is seated at the large, round, Oakwood table in the middle of the room.

The third is tall woman wrapped in robes similar to Terra’s save for the occasional twinkle of light they display, and she sits in an impressive chair at the table where she faces the others. Her face has lines written in it that imply deep wisdom, and she sits still as she listens the complaints lodged loudly into the air.

The fourth and fifth are opposite the two women, neither of them sitting in the nearby chairs. One of them is twice as large as a normal human, in white tunic that pools around his folded arms. His fingers are thick, his skin is unnaturally white, and a silver mask obscures his face completely. Only two white glowing eyes and a small divide in the bottom of the guise from his chin to where his upper lip should be are the only notable features of his head. He has large, feathered wings, and seems to be the only one who is armed, with a fanciful sword equal to the size of person strapped to his back. The other is a dragon, three times as large Nyra, and he is the one speaking.

His silver scales bristle as a he continues, “-I find your choice to be highly unacceptable, Serenity! You did not consult any of us before you made a decision which endangered all of the Sun Empire, and even Angels’ Rest.” He is directing this at the robbed woman, who simply listens to him without a trace of emotion on her face. This lack of response causes the dragon to fume, nostrils flaring and releasing a large puff of white, freezing mist into the air.

Alex walked in behind Terra and stopped suddenly at the sight of the girl, "pretty…" he stood awestruck his mouth slightly agape. "Erm Terra, eh-who is the um…girl by-over there?" Alex managed to stammer his question and continued to stare at the girl a bit shocked. He had never seen a girl so pretty.

James followed Terra to the room. He wasn't very impressed at what he saw. He turned to Terra, "Why'd we need to come here?" James was bored by now, he just wanted to see the Great Mage.

"That would be Alisha the Reverent, one of the leaders of the Sun Empire." Terra says her name with respect, but not nearly as much as she does when talking about the Great Mage.

@JELDare
Terra then looks at James for a moment, confused by his question. Then she says, "We are here to see the Great Mage. Is that not what you wanted?"

It is at this point that the others notice their entrance into the room, and the dragon grows quiet. The robed woman stands, and slowly walks to face Terra. She asks her, "Are these the ones from the other world?"

Terra nods in response. "Yes, my lady, these are all who have shown so far."

The woman looks over the group, standing tall. She addresses them with a loud and powerful voice, "I trust my subject has treated you all well. She may not be the strongest among my ranks, but her hospitality is a desirable asset. I am Sarah Serenity, one of the six leaders that organizes the well being of the Sun Empire. If you have heard that I am the one responsible for bringing you here, you are not misinformed, and I assure you I am doing all in my power to find a way to send you back there."

When Basco was informed about Caljorn the Mighty, Basco had a sweat drop "What is he some kind of demon or giant or something?" while following the group until reaching the room where the discussion took place. Looking at the group seated, Basco took a look as if he could already tell who Caljorn was just be his presence alone and looked a little nervous "Whoa it's one of Nyra's relatives!" he pointed at the silver scaled dragon yelling out in surprise. The group that were all together looked like a collection of gods to him.

When the great mage herself came up to introduce herself, Basco turned his attention to her, blushing at first sight of her, of coarse....trying not to let Lavender realize that as he listened. Informed about the fact that she's trying to find a way to send them back, Basco stepped forward, dropping down as to prostrate, he spoke "Um...you excellence...mighty...majestic sexiness, great mage of the amazons....um....I would like to humbly ask....why did you create a spell that allows people from another world to come here? and....if you send us back...will we be stuck like this? will our worlds merge?" Basco asked curiously as he looked up at her and the others that were seated.

“I am not of Amazonian decent, and I will have you refrain from your lust filled remarks, satyr. Call me by my title, the Great Mage, and none of these other nicknames you have contrived.” Serenity is clearly displeased by Basco’s comment on her physical appearance, and is not going to tolerate any more of it. “In regards to your questions, the results of my spell were accidental and unintended. They were created by my fault, and possibly a sign that I am in need of temporary retirement from the arcane in order to sort out my findings. As for sending you back, I hardly know where any of you came from in the first place. I simply have been working backwards from the curse that brought you here, in hopes that I can reverse the process without needing any outside assistance.”

Serenity shakes her head with a sigh. It’s clear that the idea of a break displeases her. The man with feathered wings walks over, seemingly ready to take a pause from whatever the five were discussing previously.

He says to her, “Might I make a suggestion?”

Serenity looks at him, clearly tired from whatever talks they had just finished. “I am open to your ideas, Obsidian. An angel’s wisdom is not something I should turn down at any point, and especially not now.”

“Let us take over your post so that you may work full time on correcting the situation. I am sure Alisha would agree with me that it is in your best interests, and in the interests of the people we serve. With the arrival of these strangers, your work may be sped up from whatever knowledge they can impart on you.” Obsidian gestures delicately with his fingers in the direction of Terra and the group, tone well metered.

Caljorn is not as pleased with this idea, voicing as such to Serenity. “I would have you torn from your position permanently, were the decision up to me! Your judgement has been nothing but questionable as of late. You served our counsel, and now it is time for you to step down.”

Giving him a firm retort, Basco backed up a little with widened eyes realizing...he screwed up. She was obviously the no nonsense type and it was going to take more than his flirting and his silly antics to get on the Great Mage's good side. After she put him in his place, he placed his hands together in a prayer position and bowed in forgiveness "Ok ok...sorry sorry....just think you're hot that's all...." he mumbled to himself. listening to her explanation, Basco gave a few nods of understanding knowing now that this may take a while for them to get back...at the most, to their original locations...if all possible.

With a suggestion from the angel man, there was a chance that Serenity would be able to work a bit faster but still....there's no idea how long it will take for them to get back home. This left Basco wondering and a little displeased by the way Caljorn spoke to Serenity. Basco stepped forward "Um....silver dragon...that is a bit harsh...I mean...don't you think she's a pretty responsible mage if she's focusing on sending us back to our world. it's kinda more than what you're doing...I mean...tehehe..no offense but I haven't really heard anything useful from you..." Basco uttered without thinking.

He looked back over at Serenity "Well....if you need time...then should we just chill with you or should we go on an adventure and you can just zap us back here when you're ready for us? I don't mind checking out more of this world while waiting if it's going to take days or weeks or months....." Basco asked out of curiosity.
