Hearing the door to their compartment open, the twins looked over with identical expressions of curiosity. Seeing a girl standing there Orion smiled and gave a wave, Estelle looking down after giving a timid wave of her own. "Of course, there's plenty of room!" Estelle gathered Salem into her arms, earning an affronted look from her feline as the small girl stood and sat beside her brother so the other girl could sit across from them. It wasn't that she didn't want to sit with the girl, even she didn't have a clue what to say, she figured the girl might like to sit by the window. Orion still bore his smile. "Hi, my name is Orion Forrester and this is my twin Estelle, her pet cat Salem, and this-" Here he held up the marble fox up so the girl could see, Titania giving a soft bark of welcome. "Is Titania, my pet fox. It's very nice to meet you." He said, setting the fox back into his lap, the animal immediately standing back up so she could continue to look out the window. Just as Orion finished with introductions the door slid open once more and he looked over to see another girl, probably a little older holding a stack of what looked like magazines.

The twins could tell their was something..odd about this girl. Especially when she donned a pair of strange glasses and mentioned something about a Nargle (whatever that was.) But Orion was nothing if not polite and so he gave the girl a smile. "I don't mind! Do you Estelle?" His sister shook her head and he turned to the other girl who had yet to introduce herself. "Are you okay with her sitting with us?"

Jason rolled his trunk behind him, gazing around through dark, shaggy black hair as a few older students moved through the hallway, some shouldering past the young boy. Frowning and squaring his shoulders, so that the next older male that tried to shove past him was met with resistance, Jason continued moving when the boy gave an affronted glare, his eyes now narrowed as he made sure to not let anyone else push past him. He didn't like this;; he hadn't wanted to come to Hogwarts in the first place. Yeah, magic was cool and all, but he had friends back at home, and staying in this school all year would be so...boring, having to do homework every night, not having his friends here to play video games or hang out in the city...none of that. He was honestly dreading it. He didn't pay any mind when arrogant-looking students gave him second looks. Apparently, 'muggle' was the term for non-magical people - which he found stupid, and he was wearing 'muggle' clothing. That is, worn jeans, high-top converse, and a black hoodie. His wand was in his pocket, the boy having yet found a really good place to put it at. He still didn't see why it was so important.

'Every compartment is full.' He frowned inwardly, and decided to just sit in the next compartment he passed by, regardless of it it was full or not. Glancing in, he noticed four people already sitting down, but the other compartments was no better. Sighing silently, Jason opened the door with his shoulder, hefting his trunk up with his right hand. "Any room for one more?" He asked, gazing at the others. The trunk was pretty heavy, but he was pretty good with heavy lifting, so it wasn't really bothering him.

The Ravenclaw would have waited for a response from the other girl, but a boy behind her asked if there was more room, so she was forced to go inside. "Well, right now there isn't, but I can make it so there is. Capacious Extremis!" With that, and a flick of her wand, the inside of the train car, expanded, so that there was room for another person on each side. The light from her wand reflected of her crazy glasses, all around the compartment, until it faded away.

She gestured for him to sit on one of the seats as she started talking. "Anyway, my name is Laura, Laura Longbottom." She adjusted her glasses, and looked at the boy who just recently entered. "Oh my, your quite full of Nargles." @Dirty Dan @xxLyraxx @ImagineVillains

"I don't know, we e been waiting for a little while, so-" Cal was cut off by the shrill whistle of the train, and the sound of engines going, and pistons pumping. "Well, I think that might be now." He said with a chuckle.

As the train began to move out of Kings Cross, there was a stillness in the compartment, so Cal decided to break the awkward silence. "Have you heard about the breakout? It's really bad." He showed them the front page of the Daily Prophet. Rescanning the front page, he saw another familiar name, but this one, was all too familiar. Malfoy. The rich, snarky, Pureblood family. His parents had made friends with them, but Cal thought they were snobs. Why would he be an asset for the breakout? Whatever, he focused back on the paper, looking for familiar names, but those were the only two.

Hiroshi felt the train begin to move. He settled himself properly , leaning back on the chair finally relaxed. 'Well this is it, no turning back now', he thought to himself. Hiroshi took a quick look at the magazine Cal had bought. 'The Quibbler' was written in bright bold letters, and right below was written ' Nargle special edition'. Hiroshi was pretty sure he had ate Nargle once in his lifetime, or some exotic food that resembled the name.

The compartment went silent for a couple of minutes after that, until Cal asked ,"Have you heard about the breakout? It's really bad."

Hiroshi took a look at the Daily Prophet. 20 prisoners escaped. Hiroshi gave a quick glance at the names of the wizard and witches that had escaped. He had seen some of the names on the page before, these wizards and witches were some bad people. His father had sent him a letter a week before telling Hiroshi that he might come and see him before he left, and that he was coming to London for work. ' This is what father was probably talking about, it must be pretty bad if they are asking Aurors from a different country to come and help' Hiroshi thought.

" I just know what I read on the paper, some of those people who broke out I have heard off. Really dangerous folks." Hiroshi hesitated to say anymore, he didn't want to mention that his father was an Auror. That may have given out too much information about who he was , and about his family.

As one more student arrived, this time a boy, Orion felt bad because with the blonde girl and the other girl as well as the twins, the room was at its bursting point. He opened his mouth, apologetic smile on his face to inform the boy that there was in fact no more room for one more the blonde girl took out a stick, her wand Orion then realized and flicked it, exclaiming two words that Orion had no clue the meaning of. The twin's mouths dropped open as the inside of the train compartment grew bigger, big enough to fit at least all of them, the boy and one more person. They gaped at the girl and Orion was the first to find his voice. "Was that magic?!" He exclaimed in an excited voice. Yes, he knew they were going to a school of magic and the wizard that had shown up at their door had done a little to convince their parents but seeing it coming from a student like himself excited Orion, because he knew one day that could be him. As the girl introduced herself as Laura, Orion gave her a friendly smile.

"Hi! My name is Orion Forrester, this is my sister Estelle, her pet cat Salem and this is my marble fox Titania." He said to both Laura and the boy, pointing to each of his family members in turn. Estelle gave them a shy little smile and wave.

"Have you heard about the breakout? It's really bad."

Stefen didn't really know much about it, but his guardian was heard mumbling on about how the Brits and the Nords had really messed up, cursing the incompetent staff and such other colorful words on making him actually work. Additionally, the way Stefen's compartment mates talked about it seemed like it was a pretty big deal,

"Vell, hopefully authorities have into controllings situation. Surely das übermagie can handle such low-lifes."

He continued to look between his conversation partners and twiddle his thumbs as the train continued to churn along.

Arabella opened her mouth to speak only to hear someone else's words. Shocked she turned to a girl in the doorway, And soon after a boy showed up. Arabella looked back at the twins and hoped she wouldn't need to tell the boy that there was currently no space in the compartment but the girl, who to Ara looked just a bit odd, pulled out her wand and expanded the seats. In utter awe Arabella's eyes widened. "Where did you learn that!" She was smiling from ear to ear. Arabella had seen magic from her mother and sister but never from someone her age. To think of all the things she could learn from this girl already! She picked up her kitten, Persephone who had curled up on the floor and set her on her lap.

"It's nice to meet you all! I'm Arabella Ibcuss, but you can call me Ara." Gesturing to her kitten she continued "And this here is Persephone." She smiled and wondered if there was anything else she was forgetting to mention.

As a couple of last-moment arrivers passed through Ned and his trunk, pushing him aide, he understood that it was about time he joined a compartment's inhabitants and to begin getting friendly with the other students. As he walked around the wagons, he couldn't find anything where there was enough place for him... Not until he saw a kitty and its owner go into a packed compartment he had passed by just a few seconds earlier.
Ned walked back and stared through the glass door - there were more students in the compartment than there was space in the others. He counted the seats and saw that there are more than the normal amount of them. Curious, yet afraid to intrude, he spent some time in front of the door, looking rather puzzles. Nonetheless, he slid open the door and stuck his head inside the compartment.

'Hello, sorry... Erm, I wondered if you know any other compartments that might have extra space? I have been dragging this trunk since the train departed and I cannot find anywhere to sit.'

He blushed marvellously in crimson as he stared at each of the compartment members separately.

Laura was the first to respond to the boy who had just arrived, out of breath, and slightly sweating. "Yes there's room." She pointed to the seat next to the other boy. His head was buzzing with wrackspurts, and he was filled with nargles. He didn't like to talk much either. She figured it was because he was muggle-born, and he wasn't really comfortable.

She then went to answer the questions the younger students had asked her. "Yes, it is magic. It's a category, called a charm. This one more specifically, is the Undetectable Extension Charm. It expands the inside of something, without effecting its exterior features." She smiled brightly at the other students, glad she had found new friends, or, at least who she hoped were her friends. Many people lied to her to be nice, but, she could tell when they were, and these students, seemed genuine.

Callum looked at the boy a bit strangely, but then remembered he was foreign, and probably didn't know much, if anything at all about Azkaban. "Look, Azkaban is a maximum security prison. So if twenty people get out, that means, they do not have it handled, and that the Wizarding world has a big problem." Callum sighed, finishing his sentence, then looked at the sleeping fuzzy ball of fur in his lap, and stroked it's grey plush.

Dark clouds started rolling in, and the once bright blue sky, faded, into a pale grey. Tiny sprinkles of water appeared on the windows, and the droplets, sped down them, flooding over off of the train at the rim. The clouds grew darker, and small flashes could be seen coming from them, followed with appall from the other students on the train.

He had no idea on what nargles were, but Jason was pretty sure he didn't have some STD, so he didn't bother arguing with the girl, already sitting down after lugging his large trunk in the space above their seats. He felt pretty uncomfortable, sure, being in a room filled with strangers. At least the compartment wasn't filled to the brim, and he was close to the window, so he could glance out without any bumping or awkwardly staring past a person's face. The magic the girl displayed was pretty cool, but after seeing his mom use such things commonly throughout their house - once she received her license back from the Ministry - he didn't really feel anything more than curiosity when the chick had used her own magic. Taking his iPhone out of his pocket, Jason flicked through the locked screen, feeling a smirk building on his face once he saw the few texts from his friends.

'Finally at the wizarding palace, my king?'

'Oi, mate, you better not ditch us for Gandalf.'

'I'm tellin' Rosie that you're not replying!'

His mom had told him technology wouldn't work at this school, but she had managed to get him magically-resistant phone covers from a place called knockturn alley - apparently, she was pretty familiar with the people there. Muggleborn wizards with nothing to do but make life harder for the Purebloods.

At least he'd have music at this school.

Hiroshi was having fun in the compartment and all , but he was seriously starting to get hungry. Did they serve food on this train ride. Hiroshi took a peek out of the compartment window and saw a lady pushing a cart towards them. A wide grin came across Hiroshi's face. ' Finally food' he thought to himself. Hiroshi shoved his hands down to his pockets and pulled out a couple of Sickles and Knuts.

" Are you guys hungry? I believe food is about to arrive."

"Hungry? Am I ever! And don't worry, it's on me." He saw Hiro take out some Sickles, and Knuts from his pocket, which Cal countered with enough Galleons for the whole cart, but only took a little of each.

"Anything from the trolley?" Her voice was Loud enough so that a lot of the carts could hear.

"Four of each, please." The lady looked at him with a bewildered expression, thinking in her head, 'as if you had enough' But the the expression changed into a satisfied smile, as Cal placed two neat stacks of Galleons on the trolley, and the lady began handing him four things at a time, which he then tossed to everyone on his compartment.

Of course he could have bought the whole cart, but that would have been way to much, and he wanted to save the money he had, just in case something came up. Like the Three Broomsticks, which he heard, had the best in the Wizarding World. He then focused on successfully tossing the candy to his friends, hoping nothing dropped.

The floor was suddenly a lot more interesting when Callum dropped that bomb on Stefan, who was rightly ashamed for taking the news lightly despite everyone's worried gazes. Still the danger or the urgency didn't feel real, just a year ago this whole magic business was just a kids tale and having him suddenly dropped into it did little to change that mindset. That is to say, the people he's met were very real, but the situation as a whole felt artificial.

Some time rolled past, and a trolly came full of sweets, Stefen wasn't one to waste money but Callum was kind enough to buy some for the whole compartment. Stefan of course thanked him graciously and settled to silently nibble on the sweets as Callum left for a bit.

Arabella looked out the window at the passing scenery. Her kitten curled up sleeping in her lap. Unsure of what exactly to say the opened her mouth to speak only to find her stomach rumbling in it's place. With a jolt of surprise she realized she hadn't eaten anything all morning, she had been too busy packing and had completely forgotten about food. "Are any of you hungry? Cause I'm going to get some food from the trolley." She dug around in her bag for her purse that her mother had given her with enough galleons to get her through the year.

"Anything from the trolley?" Came the loud voice of the lady at the trolley as she stopped outside of their compartment. With out awaiting an answer from the group, she set her cat on her seat who replied with an annoyed meow. Grabbing her purse she opened the door to the compartment to find the lady was already helping the compartment across from hers. With a smile at the boy she stood and waited a bit before the lady had finished handing him his food.

"Hi, Can I please have six chocolate frogs, three bertie botts every flavored beans and six pumpkin pasties please." Arabella set the money on the trolley and opened the small bag that contained her money for the lady to drop the food into. Once she had finished the lady moved along and Arabella smiled at the boy who was still standing there. "Hi, I'm Arabella Ibcuss, But you can call me Ara."

Cal smiled at her, and scratched the back of his head. He had never talked to a girl his age before, having only met people from his parents, rather over the top dinner parties. A light blush came over his cheeks, making him even more nervous. Well, you should probably introduce yourself you blushing idiot! "H-Hi! My name is Callum, Callum Robertson, but you can call me Cal. It's nice to meet you."

He really didn't know how to continue. Should he give her a handshake? It would be rude to just leave, so he was at a loss.

The fuzzy gray ball on the seat where Cal formerly was, awoke and emerged as a young wolf. It was awakened by the most wonderful of smells, it's favorite being pumpkin. It traced the majority of the smell to Ara's purse, quickly snatching it, and making a dash away from them,

"Hey! Ghost, get back here with that. One second Stefan, I'll be right back. He ran through the train, chasing the gray blur that sped in front of him. Oh god that was a mess up. First girl he talks to, gets their purse snatched by his pet. Damnit Ghost!

"It's nice to meet you too!" She smiled at him. She was unsure of how to continue but he seamed really nice and she didn't want to just walk away then. She saw what looked to be a husky emerge from the compartment behind Cal, clearly sniffing the air for something. The Dog just grabbed her purse and ran. She heard Cal shout something but was to shocked to react until she noticed Cal had shouted the dog's name and ran after it.

Shaking herself out of her stupor she chased after the two who were running down the hall. "How do we catch him?" She shouted to Callum who was running up ahead of her. The feeling of being watched was rather intensive as people popped their heads out of their rooms to try and see what all of the racket was. "Could we corner him at the end of the hall?"

"That's exactly what I was thinking. We just need to catch up to him first." Ara was a really nice girl, and he felt bad, really bad that her purse was being carried down a train by a wolf.

Finally Ghost was at the end of the hall. He realized he now had no chance of escaping, he rummaged through her open purse, looking for the delicious pumpkiny smell."Ghost, don't do it. Ghost, listen to me." The wolf looked up at him with a mischievous grin, if that was possible for a wolf to do; and then swiped a Pumpkin Pastie with his paw, an choked down on it, before speeding through, past Cal and Ara, back to the compartment.

Cal picked up Ara's purse and handed it to her. "I'm really sorry about that. I can catch up with the trolley, and buy you another if you want."

Cal looked at her, genuinely sorry. Dear god, this was a mess up.
