To be completely honest I just read the OP story summary thing and was all like "woooaaahhhh duuude!", but now I'm reading into a bit of the IC and the OOC and Im realizing how different this is from what I'm used to. o.o

...that's not to say I won't try if given the chance, though...

Hm...well, RPs are played however the GM wants. But I'm just comparing it to what I'm used to, not to the "usual".

I've never been in an RP where there's a posting order, I've only been in RPs with just a posting delay...or no delay at all. And the norm for my RPs is normally about two paragraphs - BUT I've rarely gotten to do a mecha RP before, so I figure a mech gives more to work with. Oh, also...didn't you mention dice somewhere? Never been in a Roleplay with dice involved either.

Not that any of it's bad, it's just new to me. But I've been craving an RP styled like this one...I even posted an interest check for one of my own(but let's face it nobody knows what Blue Gender is, nor am I a very good GM...).

Yeah, the posting order was set for the duration of the first event, which was an Arena PvP; rest of the time it'll be just delay if nobody wants grudge matches. The dice don't really play a major role in the RP, they're just part of determining whether a pilot is naturally gifted or just above-average.

To start with, you can write a bit about how he feels about his pilot training ending prematurely, and how he's suddenly whisked away from a familiar training facility and to a completely new environment. He could think about what he expects of the other pilots and their Framewerks, if he can fit in with the squad despite his sudden integration, that kind of stuff. He can also notice the Lieutenant's appearance and choice of words when addressing him.

Then there's the whole Lorenzo's lecture. You could note about the things the pilots failed in. You could look at them while they're addressed and try to figure out what kind of people they are based on appearance and what they said back to him. Then there's all the material that can be written from the newest post, with Lorenzo answering questions, the mysterious nature of Stukov's death, and a reaction out of the guy slapping a cute pilot and mutilating another. There's lots of stuff the character can observe upon.
