Derek smiled and hugged both of the girls back and smiled "hey its wonderful to see both of you. I have missed you two dearly so how have you guys been doing. You will have to heat up the chiken wings and the Cake can go in the freezer to get a little hard so it snot very soft" he said smiling as he turned on the cooktop of the stove and put the large amount of chicken in it smiling to himself. He knew Austin would have came if he could and he loved his friend just as much as the girls.

"so whats going on with Austin ? the guy busy at work for a while?" asked not hearing thata orca had fallen ill.

''Austin lives in Califorinia now and a baby orca is ill'' Ashlinn said and smiled. ''But I begged him and he is gonna be on skype in a few minutes so we can chat with him too'' she said. ''This looks really good'' she then said. Mia smiled and put the cake in the fridge. ''Hey guys, What about going to Austin this weekend? California is awesome around this time of the year and I think it's very special to see how he works with the animals'' Mia said. Ashlinn smiled. ''I like the idea'' she said.

Ashlinn walked away and booted up her laptop and placed it on one pillow, typing her password and then logging in to skype. ''He isn't here yet..'' she said and then got up. She walked back to the kitchen and sniffed the air. ''Mmmm, you made sweet chicken!'' she said. Mia giggled. ''Your still such a chicken fan'' she said. ''Yep, Always will be too'' she said. Both girls looked at the chef. ''Now what is your favorite dish to make?'' Ashlinn asked. Mia just looked at Derek with a smile, she always had been the more shy girl.

Derek laughed and nodded smiling "yes its sweet chiken. Well by the way I heard he has a full job now it allows him to go on whale watches and go into the water with the whales themselves. he says its a lot of fun and he even was befriended by a seal lion once" He grinned as he was cooking and thinks about his favorite dish "I like making stuffed cabbage and mash potatoes as well as Bread" he grinned gently as he finished making the chicken warm and put it on plates and smiled gently.

Austin when his work was done and he was just relaxing with the baby orca he booted up his laptop and logged in findign his friend and calling her up for a video chat smiling as the baby orca swam around him it was a small oca calf which was the part that worried most his his team but he merely said he was a lucky Orca so he named the Orca Lucky.

''That so sounds like Austin!'' Ashlinn said with a smile. ''Yes, he always have had a special connection with animals..'' Mia said. ''Yep, remember that pony? No body understood what was wrong and why he couldn't be petted... But Austin just looked at how he reacted and told the owner what to do'' Mia said. Ashlinn nodded and smiled, when she heard her Skype tone, she ran to the laptop and clicked on accepting the call.

''Hey Austin!'' she said. ''Oh what a cute one! Is it a boy or a girl?'' she asked. Mia giggled about Ashlinn's enthusiasm. ''She always knows how to shock someone with her questions, or it would shock me'' she said and looked at Derek. ''Can I help you?'' she asked.

Derek smiled and looked over "there is a pasta in the cooler could you pull that out and put it back in some boiling water and put it in a pan so I can put the chicken in as well?" Derek asked and smiled hearing that enthusiastic voice and knew Derek was there "Tell Derek I said HI" he yelled over laughing and kept on cooking.

Derek laughed as he looked over "his name is Lucky, He is smaller then a regular calf and has a hard time swimming so I am teaching him how to swim and use his echolocation as well" he smiled gently as he pets the small calfs head as it spouted and got him wet but he merely smiled and kisses its head. "So hows college life treating you and all"

''Oh, Derik said Hi.. I don't know if it's to you or to Lucky.. But he is very cute!'' Ashlinn said and smiled. ''College life? I quit that!'' Ashlinn said and when she saw him raise his eyebrow she grinned. ''I finished early and now my mentor is gonna help me with starting up my own studio'' she said and smiled. ''How is life if California?'' she asked.

Mia nodded, took a pan and filled it with water and then putted it on the fire so it could start boil and then opened the cooler and took out the pasta. ''This smells great'' Mia said with a smile and when the water started to boil she putted the pasta in it. ''There, it's in the pan'' she said. ''If your okay with it, I am gonna check on Austin and Ashley for now and get us all some drinks'' she said and then walked to the living room. She waved at Austin. ''Hey Austin, how your doing?'' she asked but kept on walking as she grabbed some glasses. ''What do you wanna drink Ash?'' she asked. ''Oh, some water please'' she said and smiled. Mia nodded and walked back to the kitchen.

Austin smirked "Can I get a margarita on the rocks please?" he yelled over from the computer snickering gently eyes playful. The small orca calf swam around mindlessly and jumped ina nd out of the water happily as he laughed and pets Lucky's stomach gently as he was upsidedown swimming around.

Derek smiled smiles as he was getting the food ready once it was going to cool and set for a bit before getting warmed up for a minute he came over smiling "I would like a bloody Mary"

Ashlinn grinned. ''The liquor is in that wooden world map on the wall'' she said and when Mia opened it, they could all see a huge cabinet with liquor but also with glasses and a huge fancy water pipe. ''That water pipe is the one we all tried out once.. the moment I saw that that little place was selling it, I bought it'' she said with a smile. Mia grabbed the bloody mary and the margarita and for Ashlinn and herself some water.

Once they all sat down Mia placed down the margarita in front of the laptop. ''Your drink sir'' she said and giggled. Ashlinn grinned and now sat up and looked at the food Derek had made. ''Oh this looks awesome!'' she said and smiled. She filled her bowl with probably too much as always but it smelled so great. ''Btw, guys.. Summer break is coming soon so what about this weekend going to California for a few days and then in the summer going again.. Maybe we can help a bit and Derek can learn new recipes, Mia can probably find new things to draw or paint of make and I can photograph the animals and tell my followers about them'' Ashlinn said.
