Yep, Texas is a absurdly bio-divers in terms of animal and terrain, central texas is a mish mash of forests, platues, and hill/valleys east Texas is all cost line, west Texas gets the souther tip of the Rocky Mountain range, north Texas/panhandle is largely desert/messa/bad-lands kind of areas, souther Texas is so humid it borders on tropical climates.
It would honestly be my suggestion for location if we wanted to bother with having a specific place to be in. Though i don't think we have much in the way of bears lol I'm fairly sure our primary large predators are cats, Cougars, mountain lions, bob cats, ect.
