Appearance: She is a Kermode or "Spirit" bear, a tan-cream color with soft, silky fur which is usually groomed and short. She has an upward diagonal scar on the left side of her face from the start of her muzzle to the start of her ear. Her claws are short and sharp, and her nose is a bit more pink than the usual. Her eyes are a deep chestnut brown, with a bit of luster to them.
Personality: Kovu is the "mama bear." She cares for the young, usually no matter what species they are. While she is often mellow and laid-back, lazing around and eating, if she is angered or threatened, she becomes bold and ferocious. It's not uncommon for her to have a sassy or sarcastic attitude toward the older animals.
Bio (optional, though recommended): Kovu was born in the deciduous forest Zelena to two black bears, Givanni and Torto. Her scar comes from when she was a young cub, when a group of humans came at her and her family with magic. During the commotion, one of the humans cast a spell that seemed to backfire as it hit Kovu, not killing her but leaving a gnarly gash near her muzzle. In the midst of the chaos as two other bears came to her parents' rescue, she temporarily got separated from them and was found a few hours later near one of the villages in Listani. Since then, she's been living a calm life with her family and other creatures of the forest after the hunting of black bears became taboo.
Extra (optional): Kovu is a bit heavier than most bears, but it doesn't seem to affect her stamina or agility. Her strength is only a bit above average, but she prefers to stay peaceful.
He is also carrying an appropriately sized leaf bag, and has light bandages wrapped around his torso, and his left front leg.
Personality: Lance is violent and paranoid, even moreso than his mother. He takes no chances with others, more often than not fleeing or fighting someone than trying to get to know them. If you somehow manage to gain his trust, he can be decent to you, but won't talk much. He is quite honest to his friends, and his enemies if he is forced to be with them. He express frustration if something doesn't work, and will try it the same way rigorously again and again, specifically his water magics, which he is trying to improve in memory of his late mother.
Bio: Lance was the only surviving child of his mother's clutch of eggs. All others had died from complications, so it was just him and his mother in the deciduous forest Listani. His mother had named him, and all of his brothers out of the 11 who had died, after a famous human named Lancelot, as she had heard rumors of him from the human village of Kemen. She was fond of human lore, though she never actually interacted with the humans, as she knew their size and proficiency with magic could very easily bring death to them.
Speaking of magic, Lance's mother had taught him some. She gave him knowledge of water magic, which he is awful at, and frequently practices at with the intention of getting better. More importantly, she taught him the art of herbalism, which he immediately picked up. Less than a month after this, though, she was attacked by an owl. In a blind rage, Lance quickly tore the predator to shreds with his razor sharp teeth, and tried to patch up his mother. She was already dead though, it seemed. Now Lance aimlessly wanders the forest alone, with a heavy mistrust of birds, and will even attack owls on sight.
Extra: Lance carries around a leaf sack that holds his herbalism ingredients, as well as a small bowl made of clay to hold his creations. He is extremely agile from running from predators all day, and his razor teeth and claws are nothing to sneeze at. Still, because of his small size (he's only a foot long!) He is quite easy to take down if you get a hold of him.
Name: Shizuka Nickname: Shi Age (in human years): 17 Species: Red fox (Vulpes vulpes japonica) Gender: Female Appearance
Personality: Shizuka tends to be quiet and easygoing, usually preferring to stay out of trouble rather than solve problems. She opens up slowly as she gets to know others, only sharing details about herself with those she considers close friends.
Bio: Shizuka is secretive, and doesn't share details of her past.
Extra: Shizuka uses illusion magic, and a special branch of fire magic that produces blue flames that flicker in and out of existence with a thought.
