He wasn't going that fast to begin with, not sure what turn your referring to, I never turned during that maneuver. Anyway, where my sword was positioned (also I noticed I said left to right, when it should say right to left since it's blade palm up.) allowed for a pretty straight forward defense without having to change his arm position much at all, he never went for the attack as your reaction interrupted that outcome. You never really stated when and at what distance you were doing anything, which left an uncomfortable amount of information up in the air.

I assume that the sphere thing happened before he came within range.

Right, you didn't turn. However, you set your feet as if preemptively expecting to turn. You only stated sword in left hand, bringing it up, and then down into an upward cut from left to right. What you meant cannot really be applied to what is written, specially in this case, where your position is weak and vulnerable. My attack with the earth, was mid-swing, or at the earliest stages of your swing. Enough that he could determine your swing and react to have the earth cut low. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been written that way in the first place. You were already 5 feet from me, when you began your swing. My earth strike was written at 64 inches, which equals just a bit longer than 5 feet. With the time to took my earth to reach you, and you to actually detect the attack coming, you would have been at least another foot or so closer by the time you made your defense. And then your footwork from your original stance to the defensive one is just about absurd, which translate in to somehow jumping back, which I'd love to take advantage of, cause it's downright ridiculous, but alas, I can't even do that right now, because all the stuff beforehand doesn't even make sense.

I think I'm going to have to call up the judge on this one. @skallagrim I'll go with whatever he decides, but fyi.. your footwork is horrendous.

P.S. Sorry if that came off a bit rude or bitchy. I'm really not angry with you or trying to start an argument or anything like that. Just a rough morning, so I might seem a tad off today. Just trying to get this cleared up though.

@GreivousKhan @Impaqt

So, if I understand the gist of your fight thus far, Kahn is moving forward to cut off Impaqt’s head, initiating the death blow move at a distance of five feet. Impaqt, however in a hastily erected defense, thrusts concrete upwards in an attempt to impale Khan via Khan’s own momentum.

1-Khan movement, begins attack at five feet.

2-Impaqt shoots a spike from the ground upward at Khan at an angle hoping to connect. This spike is
generated INFRONT of Impaqt.

3-Khan see’s energy pooling, slows BUT doesn’t know what will happen. BUT can see the thrusting concrete
spike.

4-Impaqt teleports five feet away. (Which is why teleportation is NOT allowed but I allowed it because
Khan has speed to negate it.) After the hasty defense.

Ruling: Khan you DO see the energy pool, but have no idea what the hell is about to happen. I will allow you to deflect the thrusting concrete, since it is coming at you and not in any way obfuscated, which you can edit into your post. This has two effects, stopping you in your tracks roughly four feet from where Impaqt had originally had started creating a distance of 10-12 feet between you since his is now angled from you, or altering your course AWAY from Impaqt creating a distance of 15-20 feet between you.

Sorry for the delayed response, but weekends are bad.

First off you Don't appreciate the veiled insults to my intelligence, all I really needed was the time frame for his counterattack, since I I doubt an unpreped ability will cover 4 feet in less than a second. I also never changed the position of his sword. This is a niche hobby for me at best, I don't care enough to continue if your going to be a massive asshole for no reason at all. But at least I see what kind of person you are now.

Anyway, having read over it a few days earlier I was going to change it anyway, since it was a bit rushed at the time. I think after this I'm going to just avoid you on the forum; to much drama in my life to have to deal with it here. That is all.

Arguments! I'd wager there's a peaceful way to resolve this.

*Shrugs* I realized my rude behavior and apologized for it. That's all I can do.

That was on me. The rest is on you.

@Impaqt and @GreivousKhan Please remember the rules. This will not go until the end date of this round. Khan made the corrections two days ago.

2: You have 48 hours before a connection post.
3: You have 24 hours after a match to file for dispute resolution.
4: There MUST be a winner/judgment at each match. A judge will be assigned to the match.
5: Winners will advance and face the winner of the other match in their bracket.
6: If an extension is needed due to real world activities, you must inform the judge and opponent immediately.
7: If there is no activity after 72 hours the match will be awarded to last poster.

@GreivousKhan I mean, he did state the rules. And one of the rules is 48 hours connection post.

Well it has been two days since edit, (technically three) though it would feel like a dick move, but he hasn't told us anything over why he has been absent.

I'm not sure why people don't just go by the rules on when to post, as far as elapsed time and stuff. It seems no one wants make the second post, makes matches drag on.

And I did, if it was wrong to do so well the rules would lead one to think otherwise.

In any case I never attacked before and it only allows a connection. So all it really did was allow me to finish my prep move.

@Rillais still watching. o.o

Stop judging me, yo.

Hmm, you know I could probably throw nano machines and instantly kill the Core thing, but that would be boring. Be interesting if someone pushed Tablurath to his full potential. First time I get to really try out any of his moves. :K

@GreivousKhan Make it the next round and hope you get Shin. He can give Tablurath a challenge unlike any he's faced before.

I am looking forward to that. Would be among the most interesting match up I think.

Also it seems according to the rules Impaqt has about 2 or so hours to show some activity in the match before he loses by default. You got really lucky with your first match up. :K
