Working on a list of what actors/actresses I think would looks the best as our characters (although I am taking physical appearance over acting ability, since my knowledge of actors/actresses is kind of small :S). I have casted so far War-Pulse, Arachne (obviously) and my NPC Wasp (Kelly).
I wish to know who you would cast for my characters. I have my own list but I would be very interested to see yours.
Here is what I have so far. @Raptorman I'll try to get your characters out whenever I get around to the next wave of characters (who will be a little more difficult). @Everyone else: I would also like to hear some feedback from the rest of you, either about your own characters or about who you think would be a good fit for my characters *cough*Raptor*cough* *cough*Iron Knight*cough*
Create-A-Hero RPG Live Action Actor/Actress Casting
For these first few, some of you made it extremely easy because you provided an image of an actor or an actress. Also, I apologize for some of the image sizes. I'm too lazy to resize them (and I don't want those images on my photobucket account )
Icon (Scot Hunter): Henry Cavill comments: He would be a good...wait a minute, he's already Superman! But, Henry, you will not have to worry about competing with the Batman here!
Lyger (Kyle Porter): Steven R. McQueen comments: According to Google Images, the image provided by Nitemare Shape is Steven R. McQueen.
Radiance (Alexa Winstone): Ashley Greene comments: According to Google Images, Ashley Green is the woman in the portrait provided in Calistar's character sheet.
Racheli Lorna Desdemona: Nora Zehetner comments: With her relatively short performance in Heroes, I would say that Nora could play Rach.
War-Pulse: Sebastian Stan comments: Compare the below image with War-Pulse's appearance in his character sheet and tell me how would this not be the perfect fit?
Raptor (Zac Wilson): [unsure] comments: It is kind of sad that I know whom I want for his two supporting characters, but I don't have an actor in mind for the main character! Any suggestions would be nice.

Wasp (Kelly Brown): Milana Vayntrub comments: I don't know if she could act in an action movie, but in my mind, she looks the part of Kelly. Also, they would have to omit the part about Kelly growing over six feet tall, but that can be easily over looked. :D Finally, if Emma Stone can play a high schooler, I'm sure Milana can pass for a college sophomore.
Bast (Sammy Kadowsky): Hayley McFarland comments: This is what happens when you look at the Criminal Minds wikipedia page for each of their seasons. She kind of looks young in this picture, but I assure you that she is 24 (born in 1991). Funny how the story arc that gave Sammy her "powers" was inspired by Criminal Minds, too. :D
Arachne (Aubrey Adkins): Karen Gillan / AJ Michalka / Spencer Locke / Emily VanCamp comments: Last, but not least (obviously, because I have four actresses here ). Arachne would be, well, interesting to put on the silver screen since she is not entirely a humanoid. Therefore (unless this "movie" is taking place in the IC) Arachne would probably have to be done via CGI, much like the Hulk in the Avengers. They would probably CGI the action scenes but use green-screen magic to get some close-ups.
The white elephant in the room for this character is that Arachne has the most common super power among super-heroines and the above actresses would not be able to fill in her "shoes". One way film-makers could get around this is to cast two actresses for the part and do something similar to what Marvel did in the 1st Captain America movie: first, they would cast someone who could fill in Arachne's "shoes" better (I am not confirming or denying whether I actually have a "body double" in mind ). Then, they would shoot scenes with both actresses and in post-production, they would digitally graft the head of one of the above actresses onto the "body double". This would be complicated, but could work.
Now for the actresses. Karen Gillan, who has been in both Doctor Who (I think) and Guardians of the Galaxy, is good enough of an actress for a super-heroine role. Yes, yes, I know that Aubrey is blonde and Karen is a red-head, but if they can make Emma StoneGwen Stacy, I'm sure Karen could change her hair blonde for the "movie" (wow, this is the second time I mentioned Emma Stone AND Gwen Stacy, which is ironic because Spider-Gwen is another blonde-haired spider-themed super-heroine). Also, she would have to fake an American accent.
AJ Michalka. Yes, the girl from the Goldbergs. Honestly, the only reason she is #2 is because I don't know if she can do an action movie like Karen Gillan can. She has the look that I imagine Aubrey having (Blonde, dark eyebrows, "roundish" facial structure, light eyes). If it was only on looks, I might take her over Karen. Might is the key word. I would have to see what Karen looks like as a blonde.
I actually stumbled upon Spencer Locke on accident when I saw someone cast her for a live-action version of a different fandom. Again, you might be seeing a reoccurring trend on appearance.
Finally, I threw in Emily VanCamp because, why not? :D I like her as an actresses, she has some experience in action (Captain America: Winter Soldier and Vengeance come to mind), and she kind of fits into the facial pattern that you might have noticed happening in the past three actresses. She would be the oldest of the four actresses (1 year older than Karen and 5 on the other two...wait I'm talking about women's ages. I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT *facepalm*), but does that really matter?
Last thing. If this movie was being made in the IC, they could have Aubrey herself be the "body double" that I mentioned a few paragraphs ago (goodness, have I really written this much?). Plus, that would save the film company money on CGI. Athena of course would probably disguise Aubrey's face so that no one would actually know she is Arachne.

Sebastian Stan does sort of look the part with the current iteration of War-Pulse, I've heard a few suggestions in the many places he's appeared, but this is a first for Stan. I could definitely see it working.

No (well...I have been looking at the old CaH RPG threads on Hype, just not the casting one). I just remember that there was an image of Bruce Willis in his character sheet. While apparently the image is not there anymore, it still says "Bruce Willis" when you hover over where the image use to be.
Edit: At least we image our two different "Samanthas" differently or things could get really confusing really fast.
