Rules and Expectations

* Stay true to the personality and abilities of the character, such as no Cyclops moving planets with his optic blasts, Dazzler defeating Galactus, or Aunt May as Galatus's new Herald...

* Do NOT rip off existing heroes in comic universes. Come up with your own creation. If your character is too similar to one in Marvel, DC, or other comic companies, you will be asked to change it or come up with a new character.

* Before starting a game wide event, check with the GM to ensure it will not conflict with ongoing plans. Such events should NOT be your introductory arc.

* Gods and other deities are not allowed. However, characters such as Darkseid and Odin, who may have been worshiped as such; are. Any "gods" such as the Olympians, will be as regarded as The New Gods or Asgardians in DC and Marvel.

* Reality warping and cartoon physics and other such powers are not allowed.

* Do NOT criticize another poster’s character. We are not all Stan Lee or Shakespeare. Constructive criticism is okay as long as it is not offensive. This rule applies even if a poster asks for feedback.

* Your character should make sense. Wolverine doesn’t dance in the flowers. If you have a meek character, they shouldn’t be smacking other characters around.

* Communicate with others in your arc. This is key to the fun. It doesn’t matter how many fights you win, it matters if the fights were written well.

* If you are collaborating with another player and you do not hear from them for 1 week, and they have not let us know of an absence either in the OOC or through PM's either directly to you or the GM's, feel free to move on without them.

* The Game Masters have the final say in matters of character acceptance. You are welcome to alter the character to make it less powerful or more creative, but arguing with the Game Masters is not allowed. This is a game, let it be fun.

* You are allowed up to four characters. However, if you are new to the game we recommend starting off with one. You can always add another character later.

* This is a working environment, so you can travel to different places using your powers or vehicles. Don't miraculously pop up unless you're a teleporter or such.

* If you are new to the RPG, your first arc should be your origin arc. There are NO pre-established characters in this RPG.

* You can reside in any place in the New Universe. Note, however, that the main city is Lost Haven, Maine. This is where a lot of the action will take place. You can also travel off-planet.

* Don't do anything RANDOM like chopping off board user's heads or what not, unless you're a villain chopping off NPC victims heads, then whatever, go with it, as long as it's not technically RANDOM.

* Don't be killing people without reason. You know your weaknesses and strengths, what you can do or can't. Dazzler will lose against Thanos one on one, but may be able to use her allies to help her out or she can run away.

* If you want to take part in this, just fill out an app and your name and character will appear on the roster, pending approval.

* You can form super villain gangs, superhero teams, alliances, the works.

* There can be a number of stories going on at once, using different people.

* Act like your characters; ASSUME their traits and personalities.

* There are endless places to go and endless things to do: ENDLESS possibilities so get creative.

* This game is essentially a PG-13 game. Use your discretion for cussing and swearing in posts. Some swearing is okay, but don't overdue it. Please don't make me amend this down the line.

* No obscene topics! NO exceptions will be made for the RPG.

* People who disobey these rules, some more major than the others, will get BOOTED by the Game Masters.

* I made most (if not all) of the character banners in this game. If you join and would like one, feel free to ask.

* This game has OPEN ENROLLMENT. There are no limits on the number of players who can join. Feel free to fill out a CS and join the fun!

Need to Know Events:
-Demon Invasion of Lost Haven (foiled): Some crazies opened a portal to a different dimension and unleashed "demons" upon the city. Several heroes, including Icon, Lyger, War-Pulse, Iron Knight, Archangel, and Vigilante (Arachne was helping with the invasion, but wasn't there when the heroes closed the portal) successfully closed the portal and saved the city from demonic conquest. This day is now referred to as "D-Day".

-Reign of Nightmare (Foiled): A metahuman called Nightmare is terrorizing Lost Haven, committing mass murders. Allied with Soulfire and the Cannibal King, he has taken on STRIKE (CaH RPG's version of SHIELD), including Iron Knight and Archangel (both working with STRIKE but not agents of that organization, the latter is currently inactive) and Icon (our Superman/Captain Marvel). Recently, Icon, Lyger, Iron Knight, Radiance, The Aquilifer, and Ramsey came face to face with the monster and his allies. Nightmare and his allies were destroyed in the conflict.

-The Cowl's Gambit (completed): The Cowl (think the Kingpin of Crime, but not as fat/muscular) has returned to Lost Haven to solidify his claims and protect them from the rising superhuman activity. Recently, he has caused chaos in the city with mass looting and rioting to distract everyone from his real goal, the largest smuggling shipment ever in history. While the heroes were able to combat the crime wave, they had no idea of the Cowl's real plan (i.e. the smuggling shipment).

-Ares' Dominion (foiled): Ares, the Greek god of War, has set up a shrine in Lost Haven to attract follows, much to the chagrin of the other Olympian Gods. Athena has sent Arachne to confront Ares and his human ally, Polemos (war). Polemos seemed to have an upper hand (quite an understatement) over Arachne, but Icon intervened. Arachne was able to trick Polemos into thinking that she was poisonous (even though she isn't) and Ares was defeated by the combined power of Icon and Athena. It was revealed that this Ares was actually a shape-shifter posing for the god.

-Umbraxis, the Consumer of Worlds (Foiled. Or was it?): Umbraxis, a cosmic entity, has arrived at Earth's doorstep. Interested with the planet, it sent its "avatar" form down to the planet, where it absorbed into itself a bunch of college students and massacred a police station and a church. While it took some sacrifices, Icon, Thunderbolt, Boom, and a few other metahumans banded together and defeated Umbraxis' "avatar" form. Although it was sent back, licking its own wounds, Umbraxis was not yet defeated and is now binding its time.

-Pax Metahumana(Foiled): A scientist, who has invented a serum that can imbue metahuman powers onto regular people, declared to the world that in 48 hours, a device hidden in Lost Haven will create a sort of energy dome that will progressively transform the population of the world into metahumans. He claims that, due to recent events (many listed above), humanity needs to 'evolve' in order to survive and his plan would do just that. Iron Knight called together a few of the heroes who united together to stop the Demon Invasion (Icon, Lyger, Radiance), along with two newcomers (Thunderbolt and Boom). So far, their current plan is to find several metahumans who have already dealt with either this scientists or his underlings (Arachne, Raptor, War-Pulse), while S.T.R.I.K.E. scrambles around to discover where the device has been hidden.

Create a Hero/Villain RPG

Screen Name: NiteMare Shape

Character you have created: Scott Hunter
Alias: Icon

Speech Color (actually say what you're using, don't go "Like this", or what not):
as Scott As Icon

Character Alignment: Hero
Identity: Secret to the public

Character Personality(Give information on how your character acts, what he/she believes in, how they handle situations): He is a man who doesn't fully understand himself. He grew up not too far from Lost Haven in Conway New Hampshire. It's a small ski resort town several just several hours south of the city. Although he grew up a normal kid with normal a normal family, he is anything but normal. He has amazing powers that he doesn't fully understand. While he was growing up he hated himself, he was angry at the world for making him a "freak." He wanted nothing to do with his powers, he just wanted a normal life. However, as time went on and he grew older he learned to deal with his powers, and eventually he embraced them. He believes in fighting for what is right. He believes in protecting the weak, and making sure that they are taken care of. Overall, he is a good man with great power, trying to do the right thing.

Uniform/costume: See below

When he is not in costume fighting villains or trying to stop general catastrophe he runs a nightclub called The Hub with his best friend Eric Dean.

Origin Info/Details: Scott Hunter may seem like a normal guy, but he is anything but. Everything about him is a lie, his parents, his older brother as well as his younger sister. None of it is real. Although they raised him as their son, he isn't. In fact, he isn't even really human. Scott was the result of a secret experiment by atop secret government agency that mixed alien DNA with that of a human. While he was a baby; he was cared for by a woman named Barbara Hill, who was a member of the top secret government agency. What the objective of this experiment was is unknown. While going about her daily tasks at the project, Dr. Hill learned that the program had been terminated, all evidence was to be destroyed, and the baby known only then as SKT-17 (she affectionately called him "Scott") was to be eliminated. Having recently lost her own child due to the actions of a drunk driver who also claimed the life of Dr. Hill's husband, she could not stand the thought that this child who she began to see as her own, could be killed. She stole the child from the laboratory which created him, and fled to the north. She gave the child to a trusted friend, Jacob Hunter and his young bride Elizabeth. Soon after, Dr. Hill was tracked down by agents of the government unit and killed. Jacob and Elizabeth took the young baby, and continued calling him Scott as they felt that there would be no need to change his name, seeing as that is what Dr. Hill had called him his whole life.

Scott was raised by the Hunters as one of their own children. He always knew that he was different, that he had these abilities, but he never understood why. As his powers developed throughout his childhood, he became increasingly confused and angry. This was a cause for concern for his parents, because they never understood exactly why their son was this way. When Jacob died when Scott was still just a child, Scott blamed himself for his father's death, feeling that it was the pressure of raising a "freak" that caused his young father to die of a cerebral embolism. Eventually he learned to deal with his gifts. At first he used his gifts for selfish reasons, often profiting from using them dishonestly (mostly in athletic bets). However, after an incident which cost his older brother Brandon his life, Scott left his family and found himself in a self imposed exile. He traveled around the country, spending much of his time on the West Coast. While he was away, he would often step in and anonymously lend a hand to those in need. He eventually got back into contact with his mother and sister, and was shocked to find that they did not blame him for Brandon's death. After a lot of self reflection, he made his way to Lost Haven where he opened a nightclub called "The Hub" with his longtime friend Eric Dean.

Sample Origin Post (Minimum Four paragraphs containing dialogue):

"Hurry Up, get that money into the bags!" One of the masked assailants screamed to one of the others.

Four masked men had stormed into Centennial Bank demanding that all the money be handed over. Juanita Juarez crouched in a corner, trying not to look at the carnage on the floor. However, she didn't have to look at it, he knew exactly what had happened in the moments after the masked men entered the bank. Two security guards and a customer were all dead, killed in the hail of gunfire that erupted when the masked men made their intentions clear. Trying to avoid detection, she just sat there; huddled in the corner, hoping that this would all end soon.

"This is Captain Price of the Lost Haven Police Department. We don't want anyone to get hurt, just come out and place your weapons on the ground." A voice came from outside. The four masked man became agitated, prodding the tellers to hurry with the money.

The man who seemed to be leading the robbers went over to the large glass door and opened it a crack as if he were to begin negotiating a way out. Instead, he fired several shots at the police cruisers parked in front of the bank. The police returned fire, sending shattered glass all over the inside of the bank.

"Hold your fire d*mn it!" Captain Price ordered, recognizing the danger that the civilians inside the bank were in. He puts the megaphone he is holding to his mouth again.

"Hold your fire, there is no need for anymore bloodshed. We can resolve this peacefully, and without any more casualties." Then another shot rings out, forcing Price to get back behind the squad cars.

Realizing that the situation is getting worse, the lead masked man began looking around the bank looking for a way out of the bank that didn't involve him being in prison or a body bag.

"Jimmy, go around and check the back, maybe we can get out that way."

The thug that the lead masked man was talking to nodded and went out the back, and came back moments later looking alittle panicked.

"That's covered too, three maybe four units out there. We're trapped."

The lead masked man looks around at the hostages and sets his sights on Juanita Juarez, who is still huddled in the corner. He quickly moves over to her and grabs her by the hair, forcing her to her feet. "GET UP!" he screams at her. She lets out a cry as he forces her against the wall.

"Everyone up, NOW!" He screams at the hostages, as the other masked men corral the remaining hostages up against the same wall as Juanita.

"Alright folks, this is real simple. We're getting out of here, and you're all going to make sure that we get out safely. We're all going to walk out together, and your gonna be standing right in front of us as a human shield. If the pigs open fire, you'll be there to make sure that we don't get hit. And if you try to run, make no mistake about it, I will shoot you. Now, are we all clear on that?"

Suddenly confusion takes over as there is an explosion of glass, and what can almost be described as some sort of whirlwind inside the bank. The gunmen and hostages gather their wits and they see a man standing before them. He is dressed in a dark blue body suit with silver bands on the arms and legs, a blue and silver cape, and he has a thin mask that is the same shade of blue as his costume. The man just stands there as the gunmen open fire on him. The gunmen and hostages stand there in amazement as they watch the bullets just bounce off him.

"Oh no, this ain't hapening, this AIN'T happening!" The lead thug shrieks as he continues to fire his weapon until it runs out of bullets. Then the man fires optic blasts at the four masked men's weapons, knocking them from their grips. The man in blue grabs the first masked man and tosses him into a wall, obviously holding back as to not serious injure the man.

"That's enough guys, it's over. Give it up and nobody has to get hurt." He says to the other three men. They think it over for a moment, and then stand down.

Moments later the man leads the hostages and the masked men out of the bank to the police who are waiting down on the street. When he met Captain Price and the other officers they just stood there for a moment looking at him, not knowing what to make of this new player in the city.

"Thanks for the help son." Captain Price felt somewhat embarrassed at the hokiness of what he said, but it was all he was able to muster.

"I'm just glad I was able to help sir." Then in front of the police, and the media that had gathered at the bank, he just flew away.

Character you have created: Harada 'Tremor' Tsunetomo
Alias: Tremor

Speech Color:

Character Alignment: Walking the Line

Identity: Known

Character Personality (Give information on how your character acts, what he/she believes in, how they handle situations): Tremor is morally conflicted in most crisis situations. While he does have a very lengthy history with eastern crime syndicates, apparent world terrorism, and simple crime in general, he also has a history of reformative actions and welfare of the general public. He is a former Buddhist convert, and as such has a belief system that follows that point in his life. His personally conflict his how he is unable to follow his own beliefs many times. Therefore, you have a reluctant villain many times, reacting out of personal need or defense in brash and dangerous ways.

Uniform/costume:

Origin Info/Details: Harada grew up the bastard son of a lowly yakuza member, gradually learning the business before at a young age being thrown into an orphanage home due to tragedy. The details of his mothers death have always been uncertain to him, but being a criminally minded youth in the urban Tokyo was a recipe for mischief. It wasn't long before his powers began to show, and he began taking on headhunter roles for his former yakuza relatives. within a decade he has both risen and fallen from those ranks, and his history is a tattered line of Interpol reports, mob rumors, religious revivals, and natural disasters.

Hero Type: Energy(Seismic)

Power Level: World Level

Powers: Tremor can generate, manipulate, and nullify vibrations, especially seismic fluctuation of the earth. This manifests itself in very acute senses such as hearing(if the object in question is grounded, he can sense it through the earth. He possesses extremely powerful striking ability(he generates earthquakes with his strikes) and is trained in a few martial arts to a master level making him very dangerous in close quarters. Tremor has amazing reaction/endurance/strength due to amplified muscle structure, though compared to real super muscle or speedsters he can't really compete but is in the top tier of endurance for meta-humans.

Attributes:

Strength Level: 2 tons
Speed/Reaction Timing Level: 50.
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 5 hours.
Agility: 2X
Intelligence: Average
Fighting Skill: Mastered
Resources: Minimal

Weaknesses: Tremor's powers seem to be tied directly to his cardiac system. Should he over exeart his powers, or should outside forces compromise his heart/vascular system, the result are catastrophic, potentially lethal, and uncontrollable. Generating a R-9 earthquake would literally give him a heart attack and vice versa. Tremor is personally only vaguely aware of this(he knows his powers seem to change with his emotions, but emotions deal with your heart rate.)

Supporting Characters:
Smoke:Employer - Tremor has recently fallen in with an old infrequent employer of his named Smoke. He doesn't know much about him personally, but he knows he pays the bills, and plays both their cards straight.

Do you know how to post pictures on RPG boards?: Si

Sample Post (Minimum Four paragraphs containing dialogue. As this is an Advanced Level game, Sample must also meet the RPG forum's minimum requirement of 12 lines):

The whiskey tasted sour. He never much liked that, but hey, it got him where he needed to be. It eased the soreness at least, that slow throbbing that built up somewhere between hurt and broken. Twas a shame it never quieted that nagging at the back of his brain though. He'd learned how to ignore it by now, even if it did get loud at times. So why did he keep drinking? Was that really a question to ask as he lay slumped on the bar wondering if the stool could handle his moodswings? Ah well, the bartender didn't mind either way. That is until the door opened.

Smoke rolled in, literally, figuratively, the man was a vagrant of culture, and a devil of a man to cross. Nobody knew what he looked like under the hood and draped clothes. He had more in common with a store mannequin than an actual person. Supposedly he was a shapeshifter but the only shifting Harada had seen from him was his dancing around questions. Tremor lurched up from bartop to look at his whiley partner, trying to stare through that have empty hood that floated where a face should have been. He almost giggled at the thought of doing business with a puff of smoke, but that's what life was at the moment. He stifled a hiccup before speaking.

"What is it? Did the job go wrong?"

"Oh no, just a whole district of lower east Venezuela shaken up. You really don't know what subtly is do you?" sneered Smoke, having placed himself by Harada in the corner.

"Neither does the cartel." countered Harada, sucking his teeth at the snide remarks.

Smoke took something out of his jacket, placing it on the table as he spoke, "Neither does Interpol you drunk." He opened it, with a hazy appendage that looked like hand where his sleeve hung. Harada gave a inquisitive grunt. "S'that>"

"Money. Or at least if you look hard enough for it. People these days are calling it 'opportunity'. You game?"

Harada looked down over the edge of the glass hanging from his lips. New Haven's landmass looked skewed from the light-shift of the amber whiskey, but he still registered it. He'd heard rumors of the place, and now he'd get to check them out.

Harada plopped down the glass with a CLINK. "I'm game."

Character
Marcus Richard Huxley, Jr.

Alias
The Mage

Alignment
Good

Identity
Secret

Personality
Marcus Huxley is inspired in part by characters that follow the "awkward nerd" trope and as such is a mess: he's awkward, extremely nervous, easily excitable, a little bit naive, and leaps without thinking. Adding that in, Marcus wants to do the mystical stuff and doesn't see it as a huge weight on his shoulders as he never has had a character to tout responsibility over him. Marcus is a good kid at heart with more power than he realizes he should be comprehending.

Uniform/Costume
Citizen
"Hero"

Origin
Marcus Huxley grew up in Brooksdale, one of Lost Haven's many suburban midtowns in the metropolitan area. Growing up in the sprawling suburban area had a definite effect on him and he was teased or ignored by his peers depending on their gender. Marcus has been called a geek and loser for the majority of his life and his interest in urban mysteries has always sort of alienated him from others. When high school was over Marcus immediately set his sights on college, quickly quitting his steady job at the local movie theater to set his sights on the big city. With his grades set, Marcus found himself accepted into Bristol College and found a second dilemma in his freshmen year: he needed a steady job. After several weeks of looking he came across an antiques shop not too far from the college he went to and decided that it would be a good place to start looking; though Marcus’ gut feeling of wanting to check out the store had been apparent before due to his taste in urban mysteries and the knacks people always seem to forget about.

This is where he began to work for an old welsh man who eventually revealed to him that he had been chosen—chosen as his apprentice. Marcus panicked but ultimately after witnessing the old man’s vigor and power realized he had either gone crazy or all of the tales and legends had been true after all of this time. Confiding in Merlin he ecstatically obeys this apprenticeship and honestly he felt like he could really use the money from working at the store as well. So the birth of Merlin’s Apprentice became so and over the next year he studied without application, until he found himself becoming inspired by crime-fighters like Ultraman and Monsoon. The debut of “The Mage” was as tacky as a name as it was; Michelle Kinney of the Lost Haven Informant had begun to report on the appearances of the superhero. In this time however, everything seemed to go downhill as his own nameless nemesis watched from the shadows as Marcus' relationship with Roxie begins to grow...

Character Type
Mystic

Power Level
City Level - though he'll be doing Street Level stuff for the majority of the beginning.

Powers
Marcus Huxley by all accounts should be a normal kid studying the geopolitics of sixteenth century Europe, but unfortunately he’s been gifted with knowledge of the arcane stream. Unbeknownst to Marcus he is one of several people in the world with a connection to the stream, a natural connection and it is important for him to take on the responsibilities of the realm of magic. Marcus can create arcane bolts and fields, levitate, absorb and redirect other energy, and even teleport. All of which takes massive focus and strain so he's not going to be nightcrawler or anything.

Marcus is by all standings a pretty low level mage and street level hero that could become a lot more given happenstance of his life and how it is changing. His power is varied and scattered over hundreds of applications of the arcane stream and he doesn’t quite understand it.

Weaknesses
As a mystic with a small degree of training Marcus isn't exactly Merlin-- he cannot bend magic very well and thus most of his physical defenses is very human. With that said the majority of Marcus' weaknesses comes through his personality: his nervousness, awkwardness, and pure anxiety from a situation bring a lot of mental misses and with magic that's a big no-no.

Supporting Cast
Merlin – the wizard of time and space himself; he’s the mentor of the character and the lead on to everything Marcus Huxley will be.
Roxanne “Roxie” Llywelyn – Right now Roxie is Marcus Huxley’s friend and potential love interest, but there’s a lot more to Roxie than Marcus realizes.
Michelle Kinney – A tenacious and adamant reporter for the local newspaper who intends to get ahead of her male peers as a reporter who gets the truth.
David Richards – Marcus’ best friend and his roommate.

Sample
Merlin’s library is not a place in England, a tangible ruin, or something you can see from space. It’s a quiet, hidden place and what it is in reality astounds me. Merlin’s tower is a pocket dimension in a broom closet. Boy does that sound weird. I “work” at this old middle-of-the-road antiques shop but really it’s more like I’m paid to learn magic… and keep the place clean. Alright so maybe I do have a job here and I’m not seemingly paid to be the world’s next great magical force of good and it’s a big responsibility to have… but I’m sort of excited for it.

I was raised Christian, though I imagine if my parents knew what I was doing… they’d think I was questioning god’s power or meddling in the affairs of Satan—but magic isn’t theological—there’s a stream between dimensions and worlds and golly it’s the stuff of fantasy but it’s not fantasy, it’s so very real and so very amazing. I’m standing on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean right now and I’m looking out as our famous superhero fights what seems to be some variety of sea-monster. I haven’t really understood who they’re fighting, I just know they’re fighting to keep us safe—they’ve said it a few times from the interviews I’ve actually caught.

‘It’s my responsibility to help others. I was born with this gift and I need to use it in this way, it’s a public service.’

Those words may be somewhat inspiring to me, but I feel like I’ve always wanted to do something great and even if I’ve had my head buried in the books and myths; I wanted to do something. It’s why I want to become a person who educates and forms young minds. With “the Mage” alias being tossed around I can do that in my day job and in my night job—well assuming I get through college with all of this magic stuff going on. It’s nifty, but exhausting and everything Merlin decides he’s going to lug a fireball at me I get nervous and anxious and it’s like high school all over again. Daisy Wilson didn’t want to date me and this fireball is going to kill me. Those are my thoughts when that happens—they’re the same.

“This is really cool. I’m meant to be a hero—a role model. I think.” I say aloud as I smile.

Watch out, because these next few years… there’s a wizard coming.

Character you have created: Harada 'Tremor' Tsunetomo

Alias: Tremor

So... Deja Vu all over again...

And since I seem to have the feeling we've all been here before, it seems only right that I should respond in kind...

An attempt to round out the underutilised magic aspect of the universe?

Love to see more activity with this 'un.

I read these apps thoroughly before bestowing Chuck's holy endorsement (or life-altering roundhouse kick of disapproval) upon applicants.

Create a Hero RPG Application

Character you have created: Zachary “Zac” Wilson
Alias: [The] Raptor (originally Raptor-Man when I envisioned the character a few years ago, but I thought having a character named Raptor-Man and a player whose name is also Raptor-Man would be confusing.)

Speech Color: Standard Forum Text, Reddish Orange (cc6633)

Character Alignment: Hero

Identity: Secret

Character Personality: While Zac always has good intentions and is dedicated to both his family and friends, he can sometimes be extremely stubborn and, sometimes, have a short fuse. His was raised in a traditional Christian household. While he is not extremely religious (going to church on Wednesday and Sunday), his parent’s beliefs have shaped Zac’s character. After his transformation, Zac is self-conscious of his height (he shrank down from barely 6 foot to 5 foot, 4 inches). With his short-temper, sparks might fly if someone mentions his height deficiency...

Uniform/costume: Until he gets a costume, the Raptor will wear normal clothing. His eventual costume will consist of two shades of brown (darker and lighter) with several black stripes on his back, arms, legs, and neck.

Origin Info/Details:
Zachary Bernard Wilson was born to Robert and Meredith Wilson. Zac lived a practically normal life as a single child in Timber Falls, New York, a small town in Essex County, northwest of Ticonderoga, NY. One of the only noteworthy events of Zac’s life was, when he was still in elementary school, Zac was swarmed by several wasps and was hospitalized due to their stings. Zac was the star running back at his high school (and practically their whole offense) and was offered a scholarship to play running back at the Albany State College. While attending college, Zac started to date Kelly Brown, a freshman Nursing major. After their first year at college, Kelly visited Zac and his family in Timber Falls during the last weeks of Summer Break. Everyone expected it to be a normal summer vacation; unfortunately, it turned out to be something quite different.

Hero Type:
Speedster

Power Level:
B. City Level (Ex. Spider-Man, Cyclops)

Powers (Be Specific):
-Super Speed (see below about limitations)
-Obsidian-Black retractable claws between the knuckles (i.e. 3 claws per hand – velociraptors had three claws). Not indestructible and needs time to regrow.
-Sickle Claw attached to foot, slightly below the inside ankle.
-Raptor Tail.

Attributes:
Strength Level: Athletic (football player).

Speed/Reaction Timing Level: 70 (slightly faster than a cheetah). Can reach higher speeds, but cannot maintain for long amounts of time.

Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 2-3 hours (Running around average speed); Normal Human (anything else).

Agility: At least 5X.

Intelligence: Average.

Fighting Skill: Untrained.

Resources: Minimal.

Weaknesses:
-At higher speeds, he cannot maintain that speed for as long as slower speeds.
-No super-human strength or endurance (beyond running endurance), so can be vulnerable if caught.
-Claws are not impervious and can break. If they do break, it takes time for them to regrow.
-Serum that gave the Raptor his powers was not stable. Regular health will degrade overtime unless serum can be stabilized.
-You cannot walk around in public with a raptor tail and not go unnoticed...

Supporting Characters:
Robert Wilson: Father – Laid-back, outdoorsman
Meredith Wilson: Mother – Over-obsessive about her son, wishing he was still his little boy (imagine what the thoughts of injury does to her)
Kelly Brown: Girlfriend - Met at college, Nursing Major

What can you bring to the RPG?:
-I feel that I am flexible and can get along with people.

Do you know how to post pictures on RPG boards?:

Sample Post (Minimum Four paragraphs containing dialogue. As this is an Advanced Level game, Sample must also meet the RPG forum's minimum requirement of 12 lines):

Is it alright if I recycle the materials that I used in the last rendition of this RP? I only just finished the origin story, so i had no interacted with anyone yet. Of course, I will make some changes here and there to improve it, but if it is alright, I plan on using it again.

I've also been updating the roster a bit. The links still work, you just have to highlight them and right click, and select open link.
