Ace sat up, and nodded slowly. He definitely had been crying, and he opened up his internet browser, searching the name. He began scrolling through the list. He eventually found a news site in the links, one of them having the title 'Kitena "Kit" Koromatsuka, young girl, be...'. Ace stared at it, knowing the name, hesitant to click it.

Ace finally clicked the link after a while. He looked at the article.

In a small neighborhood, a young girl named Kitena Koromatsuka, otherwise known as "Kit", was severely beaten by her father, Nake Koromatsuka. Nake had been very drunk as he had come home to his 13-year-old daughter. Angered and stressed from work, he had taken his anger out on the girl, beating her quite severely. Authorities were called when the neighbors heard loud screams and crying. Nake was arrested, and Kit was rushed to the hospital. She suffered a broken left arm, four bruised ribs, many cuts in various places on her body, and her left shoulder had been popped out of socket.

Ace hesitantly scrolled down to newer news on the article.

Kit is now undergoing treatment, and is expected to make a full recovery.

Kit has been released from the hospital, having made a full recovery quicker than expected, and has been sent to the local foster home. Legal issues are being worked out about where she will go and what is to come of her father's jail time.

Ace was staring at the screen, and let out a shaky sigh. "... At least I know where she is now..." He mumbled softly. He opened up the computer's calendar, and checked his schedule. "... I'll have some time tomorrow to go and visit her..." He said quietly.
